Chapter 91 - The Grandpas

Kenzo smiled and bowed at them as his wife was so surprised that she forgot how to curtsied. Then, he approached them with his right hand placed at the back of his wife to lead her to them.

"Well, this is my wife, your majesty. Jaya Victoria."

The old King smiled at her. She was surprised to see him looking younger than the photos that she saw. He looked well too.

"I think I will live longer than I expected." King Edgard laughed as his big brother smacked him lightly.

"So, all of it was for the drama to force me on this?" Philip asked with a frown.

"What?" He chuckled. "Well, the two of you should hurry up. Babies make us oldies look younger." Edgar told them. "My brother here is already rusty."

Victoria giggled like a little girl.

"See?" Edgard spread his arms. "Well, you go ahead Kenzo, and make sure that everything is settled. We'll make sure that your beautiful wife is always happy. Let's go shopping, dear."

"You probably can't go out shopping." Philip crossed his arms. "We need something like a cover-up!"

"Like, before?" Victoria asked.

"Yes,"

"We'll wear rags?" Edgar groaned. "Oh, brother."

"That's the only way." Philip snapped his fingers. "Ready our clothes." He demands them.

"Uhm, by the way, my lords, I have smoothies here."

"That's great!"

The old men sat down as she gave them the bottles.

"Sit down, my dear."

"I'll be leaving," Kenzo took the two bottles from her and kissed her lips.

"Kenzo, you should have time to make babies with your wife and boost that stamina," Edgar said childishly. Kenzo nearly smacked his face with these nosy old men.

"I'll take care of the mess and," He looked down at his wife. "Go shopping with them. Okay, love?"

She nodded at him. Kenzo kissed her lips again.

Victoria watched the brothers have their disguise with the fake beards and hair. They also had their cranes. The Butler served her freshly squeezed juice while the old men were telling her how good and healthy the smoothie that she made. She's an awkward person and yet she still gets along with them and finally becomes comfortable. She momentarily forgot what happened too as she joined the two old men getting into their car with bodyguards.

"What happened, dear?" Duke Philip asked. "I know that the trauma from a while ago won't go easily."

She suddenly felt cold as she remembered what happened.

"I~~I'm fine. Kenzo was there to save me." She mumbled. "Even though he taught me self-defense, I was frozen when he had a gun. I was too scared to die. I still want to see my husband happy and have kids with him."

"You did right, dear. Besides, Kenzo always has bodyguards with you even from a distance." Duke Philip said as he reached her cold hands. "You did the right thing by staying still a little. Or else, he'll lose you too."

"Too?" She mumbled.

"Kenzo's parents died in an ambush and I am sure that he'll be devastated if something bad happened to you." King Edgar said.

She never thought about it. Kenzo never mentioned to her about her parents. She wanted to know more about it and maybe she should have asked him. She didn't know anything about him.

"Dear, you have to learn more than just self-defense." King Edgar said. "I'll set up people that will help you. You need to learn how to fence, how to use the archer, how to hold a gun… my dear. Surviving is one thing that you should learn most. Kenzo had survived until to this day. And although he's doing everything to protect you, you should learn more about everything."

"I~I'm willing to learn, always. But, how do you know more about Kenzo than I do?"

The two old men were quiet. Then, the King reached her other hand.

"Soon, you'll learn more about him." The King said more like a promise. "Kenzo is dear to us. You are also dear to us. So, please be patient."

She nodded at him. She can be patient. She can do that for Kenzo.

"Well, let's visit the Etrama shopping center. I haven't been there." The King said. "Let's buy everything in that mall."

"But you own everything in that mall." She mumbled as the old men laughed.

Victoria never thought that they would enjoy shopping and walking around. These old men aren't old at all. They can walk around. The King and the Duke mentioned to her that they love walking every day and exercising. They took care of her and even told her to choose whatever she wanted. But mostly, she chose clothes for her husband since she had lots of them in her wardrobe.

"Well, you didn't buy anything for yourself." The two old men said.

"My wardrobe is full and I don't know where to put them if I buy new clothes. Kenzo recently bought a lot of shoes too."

"Hmm, then upgrade your wardrobe." The Duke suggested. "Well, anyway, your suite in the Grand Hotel is already settled. You will have a bigger walk-in closet." He patted his granddaughter's back

"Thank you, your grace."

"Just call us grandpa." Edgar chuckled. "We are family after all."

"O-okay."

"So, where should we eat our lunch?" He asked as he looked around. "How about we go to a seafood restaurant?" Edgar asked.

"Well, I could always go out anytime I wanted," Philip said.

"Will it be okay for your health, grandpa?" Victoria asked.

"Well, it's just for one day," Edgar chuckled. "My dear, do you like seafood?" He asked as he put his arm over her shoulder.

"Yes, of course." She smiled.

"Then, to the seafood restaurant." He pointed to his crane.

The two old men have not been childish for a very long time. After their wives died and after their children died, their life has been black and white. They managed to protect two things. The throne and Kenzo. Now, they have another to protect. The future Duchess or probably the future Queen who will give them heirs and heiresses.

"They are eating in their hands." The King said.

They sat down as the King pointed to the seafood that she wanted that has been served per grams. Victoria's mouth watered too as they eat together at one table. Their butlers also seat with them to help them with the shells. Victoria was peeling too for the old men. The two spoke a lot about raising children in Victoria. She listened to them happily since it's the first time that an elder was giving her advice about it. Her mother also advises her but it's more of making herself a lady, a submissive, and to look beautiful and kind in everyone's eyes.

"You aren't eating well." The Duke told her.

"I'm fine." She smiled. "But too much of it will be bad for both of your health." She mumbled. "I'll prepare fruit detox when we get to the hotel." She smiled at them.

"Kenzo married an angel," Edgar said. "Lucky bastard." He chuckled.

"That's why I am asking her to divorce Kenzo to marry my Ivan." The Duke said. Suddenly, her eyes widened, and just realized something. Is he referring to the same person? Isn't Lord Ivan dead and~~

"Well, Kenzo should prepare for a grand wedding." King Philip said. She hasn't thought of a wedding. But she's very much satisfied with their very simple and very intimate wedding. "I think we should change venues. The other church seemed to be cursed, didn't it?" The two spoke.

"Yeah, I feel that too. Or maybe there are just damn bastards who betrayed us a lot." Philip said as he munched on his food. "I like the spiciness and sweetness of their sauce. We should have this at the hotel. We can eat this every day."

"Sir, it's bad for your health. Your chef already sets up a nutritious meal plan for you every day. I'm sorry." Butler Grayson told him.

Duke Philip shook his head.

"Next time, I'll invite the Marquess's wife to cook for me," Philip said. "And since you will be staying with us, we'll have more time for food."

"I should stay, right?" Edgar asked.

"No. Go back to your castle." Philip laughed while Victoria giggled. The old men are busy joking with each other. At that time, Victoria forgot all about the things that happened to her. They enjoyed walking around the Etrama Shopping Center which is one of the biggest shopping malls in the Country.

"I think my back is aching." King Edgar said.

"It's not past your bedtime." Duke Philip teased him.

"Well, we still have one more to go. The tea house that was recently opened by the daughter of Marquess." She told them.

"The Marchioness sent me good tea and it made me better. You should try it. It might boost your stamina in bed." Philip teased again as Edgar rolled his eyes.

When they reached the newly opened Tea House in the Etrama Shopping Center, the first thing she saw was the Marchioness and Harriet who were at the counter. They quickly left the counter and approached them.

"Victoria!" Harriet hugged her and she hugged her friend back. Then, she turned to the two old men as her eyes widened after recognizing them. The Marchioness also recognized them and she approached the two.

"Oh, there you are." Philip extended his hand. "No need for formal stuff. We are here undercover." He murmured as they giggled.

"We have the best seat for you," Vivien said as she gestured.
