Victoria hates to leave the Victoria Grand Manor. She said goodbye to her mare and the mare's lover. The staff gave them goodbye and when they reached Lwazi, her husband took a nap with her for an hour and got back to work as quickly as possible. While she went to her house back in Northville to pack up a few things. Her assistant and a maid helped by putting the clothes on the anti-dust covers.
The female bodyguard who was facilitating the house also helped with covering a few things and unplugging them. They will leave earlier than she expected as lots of things came up. Their grandfather, Prince Philip is already back in the Capital to make sure that everything was settled when they arrived.
"What are you going to do with these clothes, Madam?" Her Assistant Pauline asked.
"I don't know." Victoria sighed. "But I am taking the clothes and shoes that my husband bought for me. I haven't used a few of them."
She planned to visit her grandmother later in the afternoon after they finished cleaning up the house. Her phone started ringing crazily and answered it.
"Hello?" She creased her brows on why the Parson mansion's landline is calling her.
"Miss Victoria, this is Nikka." The maid said to the other line. Victoria knew her as she attended her a lot.
"Nikka, what's going on?"
"Well, your grandmother was in the hospital yesterday… she's back in the house and not feeling well."
"I'll be there," Victoria said quickly.
"She's waiting for you," Nikka said and because Victoria was too worried, she wondered why Secretary Yazmin didn't mention anything that her grandmother was in the hospital.
"Please pack it up carefully," Victoria told them.
"Where are you going?" Pauline asked.
"I'm going to Parson Residence to check on my grandma."
"You can't go alone there," Pauline said.
"Yes, I know. I am taking two bodyguards and a driver. Tell Kenzo that I might come home late." She quickly took her purse and rushed downstairs.
At the time that Victoria reached the mansion, she told her bodyguards to stay for a while.
"Miss Victoria," Maid Jenny called. An old maid of the family who was serving Lady Regina for a long time. "What are you doing here?" She asked as she looked very much cautious.
"I heard that Grandma was in the hospital." She said as Jenny looked confused.
"Lady Regina is still in the hospital." She told me.
"Victoria," Dana called as two maids closed the door.
"She's in the hospital?" Victoria ignored Dana as Jenny bowed her head. "I'm going there." She quickly turned back and approached the door.
"You aren't leaving." Bailey's voice echoed in the hall. Victoria clenched her fist and turned around.
"Who are you to tell me that?" Victoria asked coldly. She wanted to control her anger and the tears that's forming.
"You are a disgrace of this family." Bailey approached her, grabbed her arm, and dragged her to the stairs. Victoria nearly stumbled many times and she stopped and grabbed her arm back.
"Hands off me!" She gritted her teeth and she received a heavy slap from her father as she accidentally bit her lower lip. She received another from the other cheek quickly. Her cheeks were red and swollen with the mark of his hand and felt stinging.
"How dare you talk back," Bailey growled at her. "It's your fault why your grandmother is in the hospital and you aren't leaving until the news escalates."
Her tears were uncontrollable as they rolled down her cheek but she lifted her head and glared at him. She should be afraid of her father's strict look. Although her heart was pounding, she had to be strong.
"It's not my fault that your daughter and Jason were horny assholes who cheated behind my back." She sneered. "Guess what? Jason was only using this family too."
"How dare you!" Katarina screamed at her as she walked downstairs to hit her. Victoria caught her hand and pushed her as Katarina dramatically fell on the floor.
"This is the last time that you hurt me, Katarina. And you too." She threatened her father. "I am not part of this family anymore and I only came for Lady Regina because she's the only one who cares."
Bailey scoffed.
"Why are you so confident, Victoria? Your husband can't do anything. He's just a beggar."
"Don't you dare speak to my husband like that!" Victoria growled at her father. "He's ten times a man that you could never be. I don't know what you did to my mother… but I had enough of this bullshit family."
Bailey's rage surged through his body as he stared at Victoria only to see her mother. He was angry, slapped her again and this time Victoria was struggling and fighting back by pushing him. She had stepped a few times and Jenny was asking Bailey to stop but his eyes were like a mad man. He slapped her again although her nose was already bleeding.
Dana was enjoying it and also Katarina. They like seeing Bailey hurting Katarina. As for Dana, Victoria reminded her of the maid who seduced her husband. She liked seeing them in pain.
Once again, Bailey pushed Victoria who was fighting back because he couldn't control himself. Victoria hit the round table vase that is made of iron and she fell on the floor as the back of her head hit the floor. The vase shattered just beside her head. Victoria stared at the ceiling for a while and felt like her world was turning back.
"Miss Victoria!" She heard the maid calling out and approached her. She moaned in pain as she slowly closed her eyes. "She's bleeding!" The maid panicked. "Call an ambulance."
"Stop pretending Victoria," Dana growled at her and pulled her arm but when they realized that she's indeed bleeding, the trio froze.
"Call an ambulance now!" Jenny screamed.
"No!" Bailey growled. "Take her to the guest room and call the family doctor. Wrapped her head up and she can't leave the house. Whoever the people are waiting for her outside, tell them that Victoria is staying."
Victoria already lost consciousness but she heard them. And the only person that she could think of is her husband who would get too worried.
Katarina quickly reached her purse and took her phone. The Butlers hesitate but they follow Bailey's order. They wrapped up Victoria's head and Jenny secretly messaging someone but Dana caught her and pushed her.
"Don't you dare!" Dana threatened her as everyone looked terrified of the family who nearly killed Victoria.
A familiar ringtone started ringing. They all looked at Katarina who showed her mother that Victoria's husband was calling. Dana reached it and waited for it to end. Then she unlocked Victoria's phone using her fingerprint without caring that she was bleeding and unconscious.
Back downstairs, Bailey was shaking as he saw a little bloodstain on the floor. He was pacing back and forth as they waited for their family doctor. He's sure that it's just a medium concussion.
"It's not your fault." He mumbled to himself. "She's being a spoiled brat and I have to discipline her."
"Sir," The Butler came. "Lady Victoria's driver and bodyguards decline to leave."
"Then, kick them out." He demanded.
"Yes, sir."
He peered through the window as their security kicked them out. He sighed and went upstairs to find Dana covering up the crime that they committed. For them, it's not a crime at all. It's disciplining a brat.
"Daddy, what would happen if her husband found out?" Katarina asked.
"Don't worry, dear. I already texted her husband." Dana said with a sigh.
Bailey looked at his poor daughter. The maids and butler were giving her first aid by wrapping her head. Then, after twenty minutes their doctor came and was surprised.
"What happened?" Doctor Ezekiel Mavis asked.
"She fell," Dana said. "Wrapped her wound now." She demanded.
The doctor checked on her and noticed that her cheeks were swollen and even her lips had a cut from the bite.
"We need to take her to the hospital to run a CT scan and an MRI."
"She's fine. Completely acting out." Dana said without any care.
The young doctor whose family has been working with the Parson for a very long time felt bad for Victoria. This is simply abused and Bailey stayed there to watch him treat her head.
"We need to check her head if there is any hemorrhage."
"Can we just get the machine or whatever it is?" He asked.
"No, Lord Bailey. It needs to be in the hospital." Doctor Ezekiel insisted.
"No." Bailey shook his head. "Whatever you see in here will stay in this room." He said as the Doctor wrote the prescription and gave it to him.
"If she wakes up and feels dizzy or nauseated, you have to call me."
"Alright."
Ezekiel left the mansion as he noticed a car outside a driver and men in suits. He recognized their badges on the chest. Etrama? He stopped the car, came out, and approached them.
"What are you doing outside the mansion?" he confronted them.
"Hello, sir." A tall bulky man approached her. "Do you live in this house?"
"No. I am the family doctor." He said. The man showed his ID and it indicates as a personal bodyguard of the Etrama Empire. This is something he doesn't see every day.
"Tell us what happened inside."
"I can't." He said and shook his head.
"If Lady Victoria is hurt, then we have no choice."
He didn't speak a word as he went back to his car and called Renzel. After a few calls, he answered.
"Kiel?"
"Do you know that your cousin is currently in the mansion?"
"Who? Victoria?"
"Yes, and she's injured."
"What?!" Renzel exclaimed.
"Etrama bodyguards are outside waiting for her. I can't convince your Uncle to take her to the hospital even her mother.. He's not in the right mind."
