Old Chairman Cheng smashed the vase near his table with his cane in anger. "That bastard! If only he is not my son I would long strangled him to death" the old chairman said through gritted teeth.

His ȧssistant on the other hand immediately responded and tried to calm the Old Chairman.

The ȧssistant was so panicked upon seeing the ugly expression on the Old Chairman the moment he scanned the things inside the the parcel that was sent to him personally. "Master, please restrain your anger and calm your heart."

The old Chairman already has heart problems due to old age and he can't be stimulated by intense feelings anymore.

After drinking water the Old Chairman was a lot calmer now than earlier, "Call that stupid son of mine immediately. I want to know what 'good' deed he do for me to receive something like this." the old man is so angry that he felt like all the blood inside his body are already at is head.

"Yes, Master." the ȧssistant went out for a while and immediately asked someone to call the president before going back inside the Old Chairman's office to tend to his needs.

As soon as he is back inside he reported that someone already called the president over, "Someone already fetched the president. For now, please calm your heart I'm sure he will give you an explanation about this."

Hearing what his ȧssistant said, the Old Chairman snorted. "I have repeatedly told him not to offend someone he cannot afford to offend yet he still went and did it. This matter is infuriating."

It's been a few years since his sin has taken over the company but because he is still alive and he knows that his son is still lacking on a lot of ways, he has not yet retired from his position as the chairman.

After a while the door to his office burst open and his son with his wide grin entered the office nonchalantly as if there is no problem at all. Unfortunately, this stupid grin is not something the Old Chairman wanted to see.

The old man who is sitting picked up the empty glass of water and threw it onto his son. The glass was able to hit him before hitting the to floor which the impact made the glass break. "Father!"

"At least you still know that I am your father you useless stupid son. Kneel!"

"Father!"

"I said kneel! Do you want me to break your legs before you started kneeling?" The sharp tone of the Old Chairman made President Cheng afraid and so he knelt on the floor with a bang.

"Tell me who you have offended this time." the Old Chairman sternly asked. This is an urgent matter, beating around the bush is not an option.

Old Chairman glared at his son as of telling him that lying won't do him any good but President Cheng insisted that he has done nothing wrong.

The anger that has slowly dissipated from the Old Chairman's heart rose once again as he threw the parcel that he had received in front of his son.

"See for yourself whether it is a rumor or not. I've been tolerating you over and over again because you're my son. All these years I haven't retired because I am still cleaning after your mess and this is what you will do?"

He only has one child because his wife died early that's why even if he wanted to give up on this son, he really can't do so.

Preaident Cheng on the other hand looked at the contents of the box and when he realized what are the things inside he turned paler as each seconds pass.

His knees gave up and he slumped on the floor seemingly drained with energy before muttering, "I think the the person who sent this is President Xi."

When the Old Chairman heard the name he was utterly shocked so confirmed once again, "President Xi? Do you mean President Xi of Xi Corporation?"

"Yes."

The old man nearly fell upon the confirmation, if it wasn't for the quick reaction of the ȧssistant he would have hurt himself. "Master!"

The ȧssistant helped the Old Chairman sit on his chair before immediately fetching another glass of warm water.

"What did you do to offend her?"

Faced with the extremely scary look on the face of his father, he doesn't have the strength to lie anymore and so he confessed. 

"I..I..colluded with some of the executives in our company and we contacted people from the inside of Xi Corporation and stole the initial plan of their Southville project. We originally planned to get the final plan but it was only passed on a few pairs of hands and so we couldn't."

"Don't tell me that is what you have used for the resort you've recently launched?

With his face down he answered, "Yes."

"Of all people you coild offend, you have offended Xi Ana. Do you know how many connections does she have? In my age, I've seen a lot. Do you think a simple woman would be able to achieve such feats? There is nothing we can do now, it is either to be at her mercy or to sacrifice you."

"Father, no! I don't wanna rot in jail."
