Chapter 162 - Lim Yi Sheng is Back!

Lim Yi Sheng's plane finally landed in the country and from the moment he stepped out of the plane his smile couldn't be more radiant. This flight has been scheduled a few days ago but because of urgent matters with their branches in America it was pushed back several days again.

Thinking that he will be able to see his wife whom he had not seen for more than a week is enough to make him smile all throughout the flight and now that they are already on the same country, it felt even more real to him.

He did tell her the time of his arrival though Xi Ana told him that she'll try to pick him up he really didn't pressure her to do so since he knew that there are a lot of things she's currently handling.

Well, it doesn't matter since it is only 3 o'clock in the afternoon he would just go straight to Xi Corporation to see her.

After finishing all the procedures he finally got out. He scanned the pace trying to look for Feng Jinnian and when he does he was surprised to see the person he wanted to see the most beside him.

As if his feet has a mind of their own and naturally walked towards them before his mind could process that his wife is really her to pick him up.

Xi Ana raised her head and looked at the man who is slightly taller than her, "How's was your flight?"

"I was too excited to go home that I didn't know whether it is good or not. I missed you so much, wife."

"Uhm.. I miss you too."

Feng Jinnian has long walked ahead and so the two of them walked hand in hand as they followed.

"I didn't expect to see you here. Since I know that you're busy I ȧssumed that you might not have time to pick me up." because Lim Yi Sheng didn't expect to see Xi Ana the whole thing became a surprise to him instead.

"I have managed to put into place most of the urgent matters so I have a little bit of time right now. After sending you back home I will still go back to the company though it's nothing urgent."

Knowing that Xi Ana made an effort to pick him up from the airport even in the middle of everything she is doing made his heart feel inexplicably warm. "Though that made me happy, please do not strain yourself too much. If you're this busy you could have jus rested for a little while."

Xi Ana naturally get what he means and so she smiled genuinely at him. "I'm fine, you don't have to worry about me as I'm not as busy as I was the previous days anymore."

How could he not worry when she was so busy that these past few days they could only talk for a little while. With the recent happenings in Xi Corporation, Lim Yi Sheng naturally didn't want to put so much stress on Xi Ana anymore.

Dismissing a few numbers of employees at once is something really huge and its not like Xi Corporation actually cared about doing it in a lowkey manner so it is only natural that Lim Yi Sheng also knows about it. As for the details, he still didn't pry on it too much.

Xi Ana thought for a while before answering, "I don't have anything important tonight so I can accompany you and after that we could go home together. It's also been a while since I slept at home."

"Alright, I'll listen to you." Xi Ana smiled warmly as she spoke those words.

It evident on Lim Yi Sheng's face the delight he is feeling, even the fact that he is clearly looking forward to their dinner is written all over his face. Seeing this, the smile on Xi Ana's face broadened.

Xi Ana has long been used to seeing the unrestrained emotions on Lim Yi Sheng's face whenever they are together and she knows that this is his way of showing his affection to her.

After a while they finally reached Xi Corporation but before Xi Ana could go out of the car, Lim Yi Sheng pulled her and gave her a kiss on her temple. "I won't go down anymore, I'll see you tonight."

"It's okay. Rest a little at home."

"I will."

Xi Ana stayed and watched as the car drove away and when she couldn't see it anymore she went straight to her office without dilly-dallying. Although there really isn't much to do anymore, it is still best to heck everything thoroughly to check whether she had missed something or not.

She reached the Top Floor without problem and just when she was about to enter her office, Wang Xinyi came to her and bowed respectfully and it is obvious that she wants to say something. Xi Ana looked at her for a while before she opened the door and gestured for Wang Xinyi to follow her inside.

Her office looks exactly like how she left it few hours ago so Xi Ana was quite satisfied. She removed her coat and hanged it on the coat hanger before sitting down. "Is there a problem?"

"To answer the president, I am also not sure but Young Master Li called me through the the company line a while ago and instructed me to tell you that you have to call him back and also to remind you not to carelessly forget your phone again."

Since Wang Xinyi had stayed for quite some time with Xi Ana so she naturally knew Li Jingli, this is also the reason why Li Jingli just casually contacted her about Xi Ana because if it was Hannah Lee he wouldn't have done so.

"He even made you scold me, huh. Alright. I'll give him a call. Is there anything else that he said? By the way, I won't stay the night here so you can go home early today."

"I understand, president. That's everything he said but I felt like Young Master Li sounded more serious than usual?"

As for Xi Ana going home, Wang Xinyi knew that her sister's husband is back so she will probably go home tonight which is also good because whenever she stays here it is inevitable that she works for a longer period of time.

She did remember leaving her phone a while ago but because she is already at the parking lot and going up to fetch it was too troublesome she decided to just leave it since she won't take long outside anyway. 

When she opened her phone, she saw that Li Jingli did call her multiple times while she was away which is troubling.
