Kian went for a run in the rain, racing in the dark.
Shops were closed by the time due to the rain and bad weather. Only a few people in the street, returning home.
He was furious to see Tinsley ride home with a man. His breathing heightened at the thought of someone else falling for his wife.
She was a beautiful woman with the most beautiful pair of green eyes and red hair...her smile was breathtaking.
Even to this day, he could not help but think how did she claim of falling for him.
And now the thought aggravated him more than ever as he had nothing to offer her...not even a wealthy life to live in. Yet she claimed to love him.
What if she realized that he was not worth it?? And that she was better off of him??
The way he was going used to her was disturbing. When near her, he could not keep his hands to himself and he would be craving for her all the damn time.
It was not only the looks, that had captivated him but her innocence and naiveness too.
Her character was soft and warm unlike any heiress he had met on several occasions, she had no pride in her name or selfishness like them.
He had observed her for a few months before they got here, married and living like a couple.
Maybe...maybe he was just pointing her uselessly?? He always had the problem of a short temper.
Thanks to Madison for knowing how to control him or else God knows how many deals they would have lost in the past because anything small and everything big made him angry.
When he reached the edge of the countryside land, the loud noises of the sea waves could be heard, hitting the shore, splashing water everywhere, he stopped running.
A sudden flash of a young boy and woman running alongside the beach hit his eyes in wavy ways.
The faces were not clear, he rubbed his eyes to have a clear look only to realise it was all in his head not in front of him.
After the accident, he had lost all his memories of his boyhood and his dead mother. He did not even recall how she looked.
Valeria used to say she had a hard time bringing him out of the darkness of which he had no memories of either.
He remembered his doctor saying that he was too used to his mother and that sometimes, letting people off in a distance to protect ourselves when they leave us, would not hurt that much when they would do.
Maybe...he was letting Tinsley way too much in than required?
It was then he realized a solution when the sun disappeared under the horizon, casting darkness everywhere.
He just needed to distance himself from his wife and it would solve every other problem.
As he spun around to head home, he could still hear the sounds of laughter and chasing off a small boy and woman.
On returning home, and making way to his bedroom to get fresh, his eyes fell upon his crying wife, who was sobbing looking at a dish of black burnt leaves.
She did not see him and was so engrossed in crying her eyes out, the red nose poking out of her angelic face.
Fuck!! Distancing himself from her...
He stormed towards her, not being able to hold himself back and let her cry like that.
Fuck him!! If he sounded like a pussy...he did not care.
All he cared about was that he could not bear seeing his fragile wife crying like someone just died. He wished that nobody did though.
"Hey?? What's wrong??"
On hearing her husband's concerned voice, made Tinsley's eyes water more than before.
Even after everything, he was still worried about her. She could not help but hug him, wrapping her hands around his torso.
"Hey?? Talk to me, please."
Kian said, a bit taken aback by her sudden hug, rubbing her back soothingly as she cried her eyes out on his beating chest.
"I ruined my apology dinner to you."
Her sobs made it hard to understand what she spoke out but he got it regardless.
"Now...you will be..for..forever mad at me."
Kian pulled her off of him and raised her chin up with his forefinger so that she could look at his face.
He could not comprehend the fact that she was crying over a burnt dinner and assumed he would be forever angry at her??
It sounded like a five-year-old and he could not stop the chuckle that escaped from his mouth.
Tinsley was sadder on seeing the face...how hard he was trying not to laugh at her failed attempts, mocking her.
She tried to get away but he pulled her back in. She struggled to get her hands out of his stronghold.
"Hey...hey...listen to me, you silly woman."
Kian made an effort to hold her in one position but his wife resembled the same amount of stubbornness just like him.
He had no choice but to pick her up like a sag of potatoes on his shoulder upside down and marched inside the bedroom.
Tinsley shrieked, not expecting that move at all. She landed fists on his back trying to get off of him even though his shapely butt on her face, distracted her a bit....she had never seen it up that close.
Kian did not feel a thing of her fists landing on his back repeatedly and spanked her ass tightly, making her scream out in protest.
"You will not like if I red that ass, wife...so keep steady."
He threatened her, slapping her butt once again and that made Tinsley think for a while before she landed another first on his back.
Kian smirked, climbing up the stairs, thinking he had made his wife afraid with his warning but cursed out when Tinsley pinched his rear end.
He threw her on the bed roughly. She bounced back on the soft surface.
"You crazy wild woman!!"
