Chapter 128 - Fails! Miserably!

Maya now knows what to do! She might not know everything she needs to do! But.. She knows who can make her powerful at this point! She also knows how to do that too! After all, She chose to walk in Queen's path! She prepared herself for one week just to answer those questions and justify herself in the Imperial Court! 

Would she have chose this path without thinking?! Not at all!

Maya's chamber. 

Both Maya and Sarah enters the chamber. As soon as Celina saw them entering, she squeals in ecstasy "You are here!!!". She was hurriedly arranging Maya's clothes, for 'some' reason before. We wonder what's That issue now!

Maya jerks hearing her cry and frowns seeing Celina's extreme happiness. 

'What happened to her?! Did she hear about my speech in the Imperial Court already? She must have-'.

Celina already came running towards them and gasps holding Sarah happily "His Highness's servant just came and given me the message. His Highness has finally decided to meet Her Highness!".

Sarah closes her mouth by her both hands in shock and squeals in surprise "What?! So...H-His Highness has eventually taken time for his personal life!".

Maya looks at Celina darkly "..." What an ungrateful creature!

Seeing Sarah's happiness she twitches her lip 'Ungrateful creatures ..Honestly?! They are happy about this?!'.

Sarah and Celina grabs Maya hurriedly in complete ecstasy. Sarah gasps seeing Maya's face eagerly "His Highness might be waiting for your presence! You have to get ready! We will-".

Maya declares calmly "No!".

Sarah blinks blankly "Why?!".

Maya sighs muttering to herself  "Because I do not want to meet him!".

Her words didn't escape from Celina as she stood beside Maya.

Celina opens her eyes wide and stays like that as if Maya has lost her mind 'She doesn't want to meet His Highness?! She doesn't want to see her husband ?! Why?! Every wife of a soldier would run to their husband after they return winning a battle! She is The Crown Prince's wife! He is the actual man who won every single battle and war for our country! He is the bravest person in The Four Realms! And here ..Jesus Christ! Here his wife His wife doesn't want to meet him?! Poor Crown Prince! '.

She was almost engrossed herself in her own land of questions and only few moments later listens to Sarah who was talking to Maya seriously. 

Sarah begs Maya "You don't have any inkling about His Highness's temper. Everyone thinks him as a calm person but he can be anything if he is disrespected!".

Maya shrugs "Why should I agree to his every order-".

Sarah states calmly yet seriousness oozing from her tone "Because it's His country! He is the ruler of this Realm and you must obey his orders as long as you stay in this place. Moreover, You must obey your husband too!".

Maya was caught off guard with these truths "..."  She is right! This is His nation. And I have to do this everytime as long as I stay here as a commoner and He...remains as a Ruler. 

She never heard that last part!! 

Maya creases her eyebrows displeased but swallows it making her mind. It's irony that she couldn't do anything even though she can do anything at this point. Only thing stops her from doing that is..The Crown Prince Kalki. Either with or without his Magical power, he Can control everything! This thing still astonishes and irks her at the same time.

Sarah runs towards the chest filled with Maya's Royal gowns. Celina whispers "Do you really not like, His Highness?!".

Maya mumbles "Why would I?" and walks towards Sarah ranting "You wouldn't dare to choose a heavy one!".

'If that man tries to kill me this time too, I have to run for my life and I can't do it with those heavy gowns! This girl is in sole intent to make me weak in front of that man! Huh? Did I think of running away from that man? Again? I never run away from danger...*recalls herself escaping from the Pavilion before and sighs defeated * until I came to this country! '

Sarah shakes her head mumbling "You have to look gorgeous! And so I have to make sure to chose the right one-".

While Sarah was digging the chest filled with clothes, Maya quietly grabs Sarah's hand and closes the chest by pulling her aside.

Sarah whines lowly "Why are you doing this? Don't you want to look gorgeous in front of your husband? !".

Maya chuckles "I don't need a heavy gown to look gorgeous, Sarah. Bring me a simple one. You know his temper. He might not like to wait so long-".

Sarah nods nervously and runs saying "Sure! I will still find something beautiful!".

Maya purses her lips tight and stays silent as if she is preparing herself for the future 'performances'.

Kalki's chamber.

Maya stands near a huge wooden table anxiously. For few minutes she has been standing in this chamber alone and the wait is making her more and more anxious!

She wipe the cold sweats from her forehead and sighs "I feel like waiting for my end!".

She decides to sit from now as she can't stand longer with her injured leg too. She looks for a chair around the chamber and smiles finding a chair. 

'I thought I would never find you!'.

As soon as she sits on the chair, she notices the things on the wooden table.

'These are small statues of soldiers. ..who are..wait..there are few carriages. .and also statues of horses carrying soldiers..huh?. ..Is this a miniature of a battlefield?!'.

Maya gasps marvelling the things in front of her "Is this how they plan strategies in a battle?! I have never seen any of these! This arrangement of soldiers ..looks like..It's an Eagl-".

"Eagle's strategy ".

Before she could finish her sentence,  a voice interrupts her and makes her instantly stand from her chair. It was unintentional yet she couldn't help doing it every single time. No matter how hard she tries to suppress the actual reactions in front of that voice, she fails. Miserably!
