Chapter 199 - More desirable amongst the Realms!

Kalki looks at her attitude speechless "..." The audacity of this- wait.. Did she talk to me causally? Without any fear?

Bhommi giggles descending from the ceiling "The garden is in the exact opposite direction from here which is the extreme end of the Pavilion from here-"

Kalki sneers at her "I rule this Realm stupid women! There is nothing that I don't know here!"

Bhommi gasps in fear and looks for Maya for rescue. She flies and hides behind Maya. She mutters secretly so that only Maya could hear "This man is truly scary, Sister Maya! Even I am intimidated now!"

Maya hides her escaping giggle 'Did she forget that he too can hear her clearly?'

Maya asks Kalki "Can you speak to her politely? She is The Fairy of Dolls and not any of your Palace servants".

Bhommi beams at Maya and looks at Kalki expectantly.

Kalki simply orders ignoring her "Make this stop!".

Bhommi pouts in disappointment and asks in a passive tone "The shadow from before must have done something. I am sensing it's dark energy in you. Did something happen before we reach there?"

Kalki recalls the shadow asked him to cut his wrist with his sword and then asked him to kill Maya with that sword.

He subconsciously looks at Maya whose curious eyes are already on him and looks away.

Maya speaks with a knowing look in her eyes "Something happened and you are not telling us".

Kalki stares at them sternly and composes his attitude before declaring "I have nothing to answer anyone".

Maya takes a deep breath after staring him equally with accusing eyes.

'You still want to be that self conceited, Prince? Then be it! Better suffer for looking down on me!'

She tilts her head towards Bhommi and speaks with a sudden excited smile "I have some unfinished chores in the garden. Let me finish it before Sarah finishes them for me".

Kalki "..."

Bhommi "..."

Bhommi looks dumbfounded at Maya as she didn't expect Maya would decide to leave Kalki to suffer for real.

She asks noticing Kalki's hard stare on them "S-Sister Maya? I don't think this is the right time?"

Even though she pretends acting normal outside, she was almost screaming in her mind. Thank God others can't hear her mind screams other than Maya!

'What's wrong with you, Sister Maya?! He is glaring at us! He will kill you in a heartbeat for making him angry first and then will kill us again for leaving him here to suffer! Wait.. my father would definitely kill me again for letting an Incomplete soul to die!'

Maya ignores Bhommi's mind screams and smirks slyly 'Don't you want to see him beg at least?'

She turns back towards the door.

"You wouldn't dare!"

Kalki's voice boomed in the chamber even though he is sick. Maya smiles taking a step ahead completely ignoring Kalki's threat and leaves the chamber without a single word.

She didn't even bothered to reply his threats this time which made Kalki to lose his mind in anger.

As soon as she left the chamber, Kalki winces falling back in his sick bed weakly and curses in rage.

'No one in The Four Realms has the audacity to make me angry! This woman! You wait till I get well! I will make you kneel in front of me and beg for your life! Such a heartless woman! How could she even just walk away?! She should have stood right here! Even though she doesn't know the cure, she must have stood here to lessen my agony!'

He musters his all might to not scream in agony. He doesn't know the reason for this sudden condition but he can tell that this has something to do with the shadow of his mother.

Maya closes the chamber door behind her and notices everyone's curious eyes on her.

Xavier looks at her in surprise but soon it turns out into anticipation.

She speaks "I couldn't find anything" and nods at the doctors seriously "His Highness might need your help, Sir".

The head of the doctors bows hiding his disappointment and runs into the sick chamber to serve The Crown Prince.

Meanwhile Xavier gets extremely worried at this moment.

Maya walks towards him and speaks examining him keenly "So much worry for an arrogant brother?"

Xavier looks back at her and ponders about her words for few moments. After remaining silent for a while he smiles subtly shaking his head "He has all the abilities to remain that way. He completely deserves to be that arrogant. Not anyone can rule The Northern Realm, My Lady. His arrogance makes him more desirable amongst the Realms".

Maya raises her eyebrows and remains silent thinking about his words.

'What's so desirable about an arrogant man?! It's simply annoying!'

Xavier who was thinking some pasts, starts speaking in a daze "He always had that nature in him...always..He Is born to rule the world and I can say The Northern Realm is just his start...."

Maya recalls Kalki's fighting skills in the previous battle and says "Only winning wars isn't enough to rule a Realm...And that doesn't justify him to treat everyone low".

Xavier realizes her words and says sadly "It's a bad thing to scold someone who is extremely ill".

He doesn't want to hear anything bad about Kalki now. Not from a woman he likes.

Maya is taken aback by his sadness and speaks hesitantly "I wasn't..."

She sighs in defeat seeing him sad and tries to console him "Nothing bad would happen.." and notices him getting too sad and bites her lip helplessly.

'Too much worry for his brother! He is not even that kind to appreciate my good efforts! I can't even cure him as I wanted to make him beg for his life!'

Moreover, Maya gets to realize more and more about Xavier's affection towards his brother and speaks with an amused smile "You must like him very much to worry like this".

Xavier speaks anxiously "Of course I am. How can I not be?! We still don't know the reason behind his sickness..." and stops speaking while looking at the sick chamber.

Maya asks "Shall we walk out for few moments? To the garden...to be precise"
