Chapter 18: The Slumber

Adam Florenz's POV

I cannot believe that Lucia has come one of her men to do her dirty work. And nonetheless, I left a message for me.

We will come back to you, that message that Danial told me was making me restless in my sleep. I did the swipe around the house and nothing was damaged. Maybe I could upgrade my security system and hopefully, Fauna will save more after that.

I heard her soft snore as she was sleeping next to me. She was against the idea of sleeping in bed together but I assured her that I will not touch her until she asked me to. And how dumb I was to think that I can never touch her when she was this close to me.

I turned to look at her sweet face as the dim moonlight was streaming inside the room. It was a full moon tonight and I don't think I saw her any perfect than she already was.

her lips parted a little as she was taking in her breaths and she was exhaling it from the mouth. I chuckled as I looked at her facial expression as she was grunting and her hands were closing and moving slightly as she was trying to hold something.

"no, mum. Stop, it tickles," she said as she was smiling for a while before she scooted over to my side a little. She was grasping for my clothing as I was wearing a shirt tonight.

usually, I would sleep naked but with my company, I have to behave. Or maybe after we get married, we will be both naked, it will be easier when the desire strikes us at any time to have our fill.

Woah, I thought as I can sense that my boner was coming to me. And Fauna scooting over and holding me was not good for my health. I need to control it and I have to make sure that Fauna will never know that I got a boner every time she moved tonight.

"Shit," I said as I put the pillow over my boner as Fauna was wrapping her arms around me. I don't know I should be happy or horrified as she might be yelling and screaming when she saw our positions, but hey at least my defense, I was not aware of her hands.

yeah, keep telling yourself that buddy, my dark mind said as I was sighing. I have to make some space for us or Fauna would freak out. I was about to unwrap her hands around me when she pulled me tighter.

"Don't go," she mumbled as she was snuggling against my neck. I smiled as even in her sleep, she was thinking of me.

"I won't. I just need to pee," among other things. But I kept the last part to myself. She grunted before she pulled me even closer.

"Fauna," I whispered to her, hoping that when she woke up, she would see this position of ours and be willing to put some distance between us. luckily, she opened her eyes and she was staring at me.

"Fauna, I have to pee. please?" I said as I was unwrapping her arms. She obliged before I was getting up from the bed and went to the bathroom. I was releasing myself as I was thinking about her body against mine, her sweet mouth and her green eyes in that dim light. It was magical and I can sense that my boner was starting again.

"damn it," I hissed as I was looking at it. It was hard to walk with these guys hard on. I sighed. If this was what I get for protecting what's mine, I think I have to make a lot of crimes that I have been making in the past.

"It seems hard enough for you to walk," Fauna's voice was interrupting me as I looked at her. She was leaning on the door frame as she had my shirt on like a dress over her small petite frame. Her long legs were shining with the only lights from the bathroom.

"go back to sleep," I said as I was turning away from her. I don't want her to see me in this state.

"maybe. But I think I wanted to be here," she said as she turned me around before she kissed me and I was off-balanced, landing on the bathroom floor.

"Fauna," I heard someone calling my name as I was gripping even harder against something. Something warm, something familiar and I don't think I wanted to go elsewhere.

when I sensed that the voice was out, I opened my eyes to see that Adam was staring at me. His stormy eyes were full of adoration and also the pain that he was enduring. Why he was making that face?

"Fauna, I have to pee. Please?" Adam said as he was unwrapping my arms around his neck. I can sense that heat was pooling at my core as I see his reflexes under the thin shirt that he had on. I can tell that he was uncomfortable to be in that one. I guess he never sleeps with them on.

I was watching him go into the bathroom as he closed the door. He was relieving himself as I was looking at my clothing. I had refused to change as I thought I would be sleeping alone tonight but Adam convinced me that he cannot be at peace if we were not in the same room.

He offered me the bed as he wanted to take the floor. I stopped him and told him that I trusted him to stay on his side and will not touch me unless I told him so.

well, I wanted more than touch him.

I wanted to explore his body as I was looking at our closeness and intimacy just now. He was right fit with me and me to him. We could never go back to the thing they were.

and I don't want that either. I wanted for us to work, for him to like me and I think I was about to do something stupid that I might be regretting in the morning but maybe for a good reason.

so I changed as I took his offered shirt that I put on the chair. I stripped off my clothes as I was getting out of my undergarments and just slipped that shirt on. I hope he noticed my erected nipples as I went to open the bathroom door and I saw that he was having a boner right now.

"It seems hard enough for you to walk," I said as I was leaning against the bathroom door as I looked at his muscles tensed up when he heard my name. He turned to look at me over his shoulder.

god, he was a very fine specimen.

"go back to sleep," he said as he was turning away from me after he looked at me, up and down my body. I smirked as I know he was getting harder and harder every second he looked at me.

"maybe. But I think I wanted to be here," I said before I went to jump on him. I turned him as I kissed him before he stumbled to the ground. I cannot believe that he was holding me by the waist as I was kissing him hard and passionate.

He stunned for a while before he responded to my kisses. I smiled in that kiss before I broke it and I looked into his stormy eyes. They were darkened with desire.

"Fauna, if you know what's good for you—"

"Shut up, Florenz," I snapped at him. Adam blinked a few times as he just looked at me for the first time.

"I'm sick of people ordering me around. All I ever wanted," I said as I sighed, "all I ever I wanted was to belong and fit in. But I know I would never fit in. You're betrothed to my sister and I took her place. When she returns, I have to let you go. Please, just this once, without the engagement, the marriage, boundaries that may take away from us," I said as I was gripping his collar. I closed my eyes as I sighed. I opened it and I saw that Adam felt the same about it with me.

"No regret?"

"with you? never," I whispered as his head was coming closer and closer to me.

"me too," he said as he kissed me sweet and tender. It was different from the kiss we share before as I was snaking my arms around his neck, pulling him closer to me. I grunted as I can sense his boner was on grinding on my pelvic. He laughed.

"hey, you wanted it,"

"then put me out of my misery. Our misery," I said as I was looking at him before he chuckled. He pinched my chin with his thumb and forefinger.

"well, my life will never be bored with you," he said and before I can reply to him, he scooped me up as I wrapped my legs around his torso. I arched my eyebrow at him.

"cannot wait, Mr. Florenz?" I teased him. He chuckled as he put me down on the mattress before he took off his shirt. I stared at his muscles. I traced it with my fingers and he shuddered.

"well, you will have more exploration later, now for my treat," he said as he ripped his shirt that covered my body. I gasped.

"you caveman!" I said as he was kissing my stomach, my breasts before he was nuzzling my neck.

"you like this caveman anyway," he whispered as he licked my earlobe. I shivered as I was looking into his stormy eyes.

"Shall we stop or do you wish to continue?" He teased me as he was spreading me up, stroking me at my core.

"I will kill you in my sleep if you stop now, Florenz," I hissed at him before he plunged into me. I gasped as I gripped his shoulder for support. He pulled out before he tasted me. I stared as he was licking his finger clean.

"hmm, so sweet and tasty. So pure," he said as he looked at me. I blushed as I never had any lover before and he would be the first.

"don't tease," I said as I was trying to hide from his stare. He held my face to look into his eyes.

"it would honor for me to have you like your first and last man," he said before he kissed me. He positioned himself in front of my entrance before he entered me slowly. I was holding his shoulder and my moist helped him to get inside with ease. I was grunting as I felt a sharp pain before I felt pleasure.

"now that part was over, I can have you however I wanted to," he whispered to me as he kissed my neck.

"however you wanted—" and all was left my mind as I can sense that he was moving in and out of me. I gasped as I gripped his shoulder against as I can sense something was building inside my stomach.

"come with me, meu amor," he said as he was thrusting in and out. I was holding him as I was hissing.

"Ah!" Was all my response to him as I sensed a wave of pleasure was building up from my toes, into my stomach, went to my brain before my walls around my core were clenching around his dick. He groaned and after that, he spewed his hot load into mine. I can sense that he was breathing heavily and sweats were pooling at our spine.

"That was worth it," he said as he was looking at me before he kissed me.

"Adam—" I stopped in my sentence when Adam put his finger to his lips. He dismounted from me and I missed his heat already. He went to the window and cursed.

"Get a dress, I have to send you to your parents, that man was here just now,"

"what are you going to do?" I asked him as I was gripping the duvet.

"I have to track him down," Adam said as he looked at me.
