Chapter 12

While he was running, Ye Mo was constantly using his Divine Sense to find a good area for his stay. He found a few beasts along his run, but most of them had just broken through to Qi Lo, so Ye Mo knows he isn't at the Inner Regions yet.

It was only 9 hours later, when Ye Mo started to constantly see Qi Lo Stage 6 and above beasts that he finally realized he reached the Inner Region. Happy to finally be at the Inner Region, Ye Mo used his Divine Sense using 80% of his Mental Energy, expanding the radius of it.

After searching around for a few minutes, Ye Mo found a cave that has an insane amount of Qi within it, as if the cave was absorbing the surrounding Qi. A bit curious, Ye Mo headed towards the cave. Once there, Ye Mo can feel a bit of pressure from just the Qi, which lets him know that the amount of Qi here is capable of killing those with weaker cultivation. Truthfully, if Ye Mo wasn't at the peak of Qi Lo, he wound find it hard to even move, let alone enter the cave.

Wondering what is inside the cave for it to gather this much Qi, Ye Mo enters the cave casually, due to not sensing any danger within it at all, besides the Qi. After walking in the cave for a while, Ye Mo suddenly comes across a split path, leading into 3 different directions. Unfazed, Ye Mo used his Mental Energy to search for the path with the most Qi gathered.

The result was that the right path has the most Qi gathered, so that should be the direction the Qi is gathering towards. Entering the right path, Ye Mo can instantly feel a bit of pressure from the Qi, though completely different from the Qi outside the path. It seems almost... devilish.

After walking through the right path for a few hours at least, Ye Mo finally reached the end of the path and entered a large area within the cave. There are all types of structures within this area, such as broken down pillars, long, red and black carpets, a few paintings, which are broken down, and a throne.

The throne is fully black in color, with red marks lining along the whole throne. Beside the throne is a sword, which is stabbed within the ground. The sword is similar to the throne, pitch black with red linings all along it. The hilt has a dragon on it, that goes straight to the tip of the hilt.

When Ye Mo looked directly at the sword, he suddenly felt a familiar feeling, but he can't recall what it is. All he knows that when he looked at the sword, it reminded him of something close to him, even though he cannot remember it.

Walking closer towards the sword, Ye Mo could sense the large amounts of devilish Qi, but it didn't affect him at all, and it even opened a path for him once he reached the sword. Staring at the sword for a few seconds, Ye Mo extends his right hand and grabs the hilt of the sword, and that is when it happened.

Ye Mo suddenly found himself within a realistic dream, at least he thinks that is what it is. Within the dream, Ye Mo could see a figure. The figures face was blurry, but he could tell it was a young man from his body shape. The youth was holding the exact sword that Ye Mo grabbed earlier, so he figures the the youth has a connection with the sword.

Suddenly, hundreds to thousands of people, as well as beasts, surrounded the youth from all directions, each and every one of them within the air. Shocked since only Qi He cultivators can fly, Ye Mo can't understand. According to his memory from the database, there is bȧrėly a thousand Qi He cultivators on Malpo. Yet here, in this dream, there are more than a few thousand, and it might possibly reach ten thousand.

There were a few old people in the front who seemed the strongest, and they started talking with the youth. Not able to hear what they are saying, Ye Mo can only watch in silence for something to happen. After the old men talked to the youth for a few minutes, they suddenly got angry and pointed at the youth and started yelling at him.

While they were yelling, all of the surrounding cultivators and beasts started rushing towards the youth in one giant group. The youth simply looked at them, and even though is face was blurry, Ye Mo could feel the disdain emitted from his gaze towards the group.

When they were about to reach the youth, he suddenly raised his sword and said something, after which his sword sent out a large wave of red, devilish Qi. The devilish Qi shrouded the whole sky, dying it red. After the devilish Qi faded, they were all dead. All ten thousand 'Qi He' cultivators died. IN ONE MOVE!

Unable to contain his shock, Ye Mo let out a startled cry. Perhaps the youth heard the sound, he suddenly looked straight towards Ye Mo. He felt a pressure far greater than that of the Earth Wyvern surround him, threatening to kill him, yet also seemingly soothing. Confused by this, Ye Mo could suddenly see the youth smile towards him. Unsure of how he could tell it was a smile, the youth said something towards him, but he couldn't hear it at all.

Then Ye Mo suddenly found himself back at the room with the throne, still holding the swords hilt. Just as Ye Mo was about to release his grip on the sword, the System sent a few screens.

"What the hell? Just by entering that dream like state I gained all this stuff. The sword even acknowledged me? Why?" Ye Mo stares at the sword, confused. Although Ye Mo was confused by the sudden turn of events, even before he entered the dream like state, Ye Mo could already feel a sense of connection with the sword, and after he gained the acknowledgment of it, that connection was even larger, and more clearer. Shaking his head slightly, Ye Mo brings up his status.

"The Devil Storm skill should be the skill that youth used to slaughter those ten thousand 'Qi He' cultivators and beasts. The only thing I can see about the new Perk and Trait is that they are both Divine rank, just like the skill." Ye Mo sighs while looking at the new additions to his status.

Looking at the sword, Ye Mo pulled it out of the ground and held it in his hands. With the sword in his hands, Ye Mo suddenly felt that familiar sense once again. Shaking his head, Ye Mo looks around the room while using analyze on everything to see if there is anything useful here.

[Divine Devil Emperor's Throne: The throne of the Divine Devil Emperor. When he was betrayed and heavily injured, the Divine Devil Emperor brought his Throne, Sword and a few other treasures with him to the Lower Realm and settled down. In the end, he succumbed to his serious injuries.]

"Lower Realm? Is this place only the Lower Realm? Now I understand why there were so many 'Qi He' cultivators and beasts in that dream. They were all at the Upper Realm, if that is what it is called. No wonder there are bȧrėly a thousand Qi He cultivators in the world, they all probably went to the other realm." Ye Mo finally understood. Shaking his head, Ye Mo focused on the 'few other treasures' line, hinting that there should be a few treasures within this room.

Ye Mo excitedly continues to look around the room using analyze to see if he can find those other treasures. Looking through the whole room, Ye Mo finally managed to find a few of said treasures.

Opening his mouth wide, Ye Mo stares at all these items. The Grade 7 armor has been damaged and can only block up to Tier 3 attacks, but that is still very good. That Devil Zhen fruit would help with his new skill and sword. There are 24 of both Grade 6 Healing Pills and Grade 6 Qi Gathering Pills in total, placed within 4 bottles for each pill. There are 2 Hell Flowers, and 6 Baralite Ore.

Ye Mo opens and closes his mouth a few times before he comes back to his senses. He decides to instantly put the armor on, since it is still very useful. As for everything else, Ye Mo puts them into his storage ring. He put the armor under his robe so it doesn't get in the way, but still defends him properly.

Looking around the cave, Ye Mo can still feel the immense amounts of Qi around, and he realizes this is the perfect place for him to cultivate right now. Sitting down on a somewhat clean spot, Ye Mo pops out one of the Grade 6 Qi Gathering Pills and swallows it, then activating his Death Mantra to gather all the Qi towards his dantian.
