14 Chapter Fourteen

Kagura who is not used to human interactions might not understand such complex emotions that were in the elders reddened eyes but he could.

Masamune went outside to speak with the elder. When he asked what his intentions were and so on the Elder was hesitant to answer.

When Masamune told him outright if he had any impure thoughts and thought of harming her he would personally break his arms and legs and annihilate his bloodline.

The elder had a discerning eye for people and could see that this man was only worrying for his wife.

Masamune felt shocked and uneasy.

This elder clearly said she was his granddaughter at first he did not believe it but when he mentioned the delicate red birthmark on her chest, her abnormally golden coloured eyes that would glow every fortnight and her pendant he was unable to deny their connections.

His wife was so extraordinary.

If what this elder said was true than wouldn't that make his little wife a part of the god realm? But if that was so, why was she suffering?!

Her illness was a result of her body being unable to absorb the immense inner energy in her body from her heavenly lineage. Her mother suffered from a similar case, he, Masamune, was undoubtedly an immortal demon however his wife was a half blood belonging to the the godly realm. The situation was certainly complicated.

Kagura's godly lineage with her mothers (demonic lineage) was causing the inner energy to destroy her inner physique causing her to suffer from unbearable pain every fortnight.

His daughter (Kagura's mother), was an ice like beauty having inherited her mothers (Kagura's Grandmother/ Immortal Doctors Wife) devilishly stunning appearance.

He had warned her to not entangle herself with that man!

He was well aware of the mutual love between the two, however the result of their love brought his granddaughter into this world without a mother.

Her mother was weak due to her illness and died after childbirth.

Her father left her with him, the pendant around her infant body belonged to her father.

Her identity was complicated and taking her with him was dangerous, however he never expected his daughter he had only seen once would be kidnapped! Moreover right under his nose!

Masamune's serious expression turned grim. The same illness his wife had killed her mother, what now? Although he despaired at the thought of not being able to touch her (get intimate) he was willing to do so and live with her throughout their lifetime than to not have her in his life.

Kagura was a anomaly, her existence alone was special. He was somewhat not surprised at the same time, he had a keen sense of smell and unlike other mortals she smelt slightly different.

When she first arrived her scent was masked by a mortal scent, however, gradually over the years the veil on her scent disappeared. Only then was he certain she was no mortal.

Coupled with her celestial appearance that shamed even the moon and her strange coloured eyes of gold like a serpents, her beauty could cause others to kneel in admiration.

Masamune didn't care if she was a god's child, he was happy to hear one of her parents were alive this would certainly make her happy.

In his mind, before she is her fathers daughter, her grandfathers granddaughter, she is his wife. His other half.
