Chapter 105 - Inception

Stuck in the room, Leena was trapped between Leah's endless blabbering. The moment when she gets up to escape into her room, Leah pulls her to the bed again.

"Let's make time for girl's night today, Leena! You will be sleeping in my room. Despite we cannot get out of this house, we can still have fun here. I have already kicked Austin out of the room." Leah stated, struggling to distract Leena from fleeing away. Devin has warned that Leena has to stay in her room at any cost.

"W_hat?" Leena screamed putting a stop to the gr.a.p.es she was devouring. "I_I cannot sleep if I keep changing my bed. Worse, I may get insomnia."

"Even if you take a nap in the fireplace, you still sleep like a log. So we can rule out the possibility of your sleeping disorders."

If I stay here, I will not be able to see him today? Leena happened to sulk for a moment. Think of a story, rocket scientist. Besides, she is having a hunch that something is happening behind her back. Never, Leah would ask her to stay in her room. Why did she ask unexpectedly? I have to find the truth behind it.

"Then I will get some stuff from my room." Leena whisked out of the room in a wink even before Leah could catch her.

Arriving in her room, she peeked at the man working diligently on his laptop.

"He is behaving as if he is a hacker. He is not even acknowledging the presence of a huge tree staining right in front of him now." Whispering to herself, she walked inside to get the stuff she needed. Taking the essentials, Leena was about to depart, another person walked into her room carrying junk with him.

"What's up, Mr. Andrew Dawson! Did you forget the way to your room?" Leena asked glancing at the duffle bag he is holding up.

"Nope! I am at the right address. Since you girls have kicked Austin out of the room with the name girls night out, he got settled in my room. So, Austin will stay with that donkey and I will stay in your room." Drew exaggerated, happy that he is getting a break from his mortal enemy.

"NOOOO! I oppose your request!" Her screams were so loud that Devin surged to her in panic. Even Austin, Jasper, and Leah who were staying the next doors arrived.

She rushed towards Devin, grabbed his hand, and dragged him into her room locking the door behind it. Everyone present there gaped at Leena's sudden shift of emotions.

"Did she willingly take his hand?" Leah wondered what sort of spell he has put on the man-hater.

...

"Is he going to stay in my room?" In a whisper, she asked when only both were alone.

"Since you have occupied Leah's room, so he doesn't have a choice." Devin finally had a breath of fresh air talking to his darling. The exhaustion was taking a toll on his body since he discovered the secret cameras. But everything vanished when she appeared in front of him.

"Hey! You cannot stay with him. Do you know his identity?" Leena cried adding. "He is a friend of Dorothy, idiot."

"Who is Dorothy?" Devin asked weirdly curious about the funny name. As far as he remembered, Drew doesn't have a friend named Dorothy.

"You don't even know Dorothy?" Dear God! Why did you make me the most intelligent person? You should have also put a little knowledge on these block heads. Can't they understand Dorothy slang and this dunce idiot seems to be unaware of Jasper and Andrew's love story?

Leena ransacked her brain to come up with a story to make him understand in a better way.

"Since you are not understanding, I will put it simply. Listen properly."

"I am all ears." Devi inclined a little to listen to her story.

"I saw Andrew using his telescope to explore a 'black hole' in the broad daylight," Leena stressed the word black hole anticipating that it would work on him.

"Let him explore. He loves black hole and astronomy. Nevertheless, telescope can be used during day time even, darling." Devin was wondering why did she bring the topic of telescope out of blue. Since he already knew her crazy brain, it was no surprise to him.

Leena wanted to bang her head on the wall for trying to make the idiot understand.

"Fine! Don't ask my help if something happens tomorrow. If you lose your vir_ nevermind. Deal with it."

Having said that, Leena opened the lock and walked out of the room not before giving laser atomic death stares at Andrew and Jasper.

"What did I do to her?" Drew and Jasper wondered.

Devin stared at her retiring back with a thunderstruck expression, not able to grasp what she is inferring with her words.

...

Sleep kicked in and Leena drove into a deep slumber right after finishing her dinner. Scratch with the night out. She was thinking about Devin and Drew all the time, her thoughts running wild and she even dreamed about them.

Her subconscious mind was 30,000 powerful than her conscious mind. It has accepted the idea of Andrew and Devin staying together and began executing their story in the middle of the night.

"Please don't..." She screamed, clasping the quilt so tightly, droplets of sweat were plummeting from her forehead.

"Stop! Please don't do anything to him.." Leena cried hitting the sleeping girl beside her.

"Leave him alone, Mowgli. He is innocent....." Leena sobbed, her pillow soaked in tears without knowing she is manufacturing illusions in her dream.

The girl sleeping next to her started from her deep slumber with the harsh jabs she was receiving from a certain someone. Even in her dazed state, she could see Leena slinging her hands, talking to herself.

"Mad girl! Who is innocent? Who is alone? Even she began dreaming crazily." Ignoring her, Leah tossed and turned for a while but couldn't get back to sleep again when the crazy girl started hitting her again.

"Leave him alone, you piece of an a.s.s... He doesn't like you..." Leena screamed flapping her hands in protests. "I will rescue you, Mr. Adonis. Wait for me."

In frustration, Leah slammed her back, pulling Leena from the stupor.

With a start, Leena arose from her trance. Taking her time to process the sinful activity she witnesses, Leena glanced at the wall clock.

"It's still three-thirty?"

"Leena! Can't you let me sleep for a while?" Leah yelled.

Leena blinked her eyes once, twice. Without any words, she got up, marched towards her room, and started kicking the door continuously with her leg until it was opened.

"Why did you wake up in the middle of_"

Before Devin could complete his words, Leena shoved him, entering into the room. When she peeked at the sleeping Drew in her room, she sighed in relief.

"He even brought a new set of the quilt?" Leena scoffed, surprised to see him freaking clean.

"Why didn't you lock the door?" Leena yelled latching her door securely where Drew was sleeping.

"Should I?" Devin questioned back.

"Of course! What if something attacks you?"

Leena memorized her dream crisp and clear. In her dream, Drew was trying to assault Devin while he was begging Leena to save him from Drew's clutches, but she was tied up to a new branded shoe. She couldn't understand why she was getting pinned to a shoe. Finally, she unwrapped from the shoe with all the strength and sliced a huge tree vertically with her b.a.r.e hands. Making a hole through it, she arrived at the other end and killed Andrew with the green gr.a.p.e she was eating.

"What a dream Leena! You are using gr.a.p.e as a weapon? Even your dreaming brain can build excellent stories that are on par with your awakening brain. My story can beat Christopher Nolan's Inception movie if it is pictured on the screens. I should contact Francy immediately and ask him to start an entertainment industry." Leena giggled imagining Christopher Nolan phoning and congratulating her for making a blockbuster once it hits the box-office.

"Did you come here to giggle and disturb my sleep? Crossing his hands, Devin asked. He didn't catch a wink of sleep surveying and searching for clues.

" Can I sleep here? I am scared." Without heeding his answer Leena quietly hopped onto his bed inhaling the cinnamon scent which she is familiar with, and in no time she slept soundly.

Devin: " "

She is a spoiled brat.

It was still early in the morning and her google sources have notified that people go wild since they have higher levels of testosterone in the mornings. She was scared that Andrew would attack him and there would be no one to save Devin and she cannot protect him if she goes and sleeps in Leah's room again.

Is Jasper not enough for him? Can't he leave Mr.Adonis alone? She cried sensing a sudden ounce of jealousy. He is attracting men also which is bad.
