Chapter 14 - I want Mommy (Second Part)

Ruyi decided to sleep in her study, when she saw the cowering maids outside her bedroom who just left her to her own devices and wouldn't even help her with the children.... She sighed with exhaustion on her way to her study...

'How'd I end up in this situation again?

*Flashback*

"Um... Jue'er, Yue'er, come with grandpa and grandma... Uhh.. That's not your... mommy.... uhh...." K-won was sweating profusely while trying to win over the kids who is still currently clinging to his boss who's currently in a state of shock while his head travel from his boss to his parents to the kids... 'Oh no... I'm so dead'

"NO!!!!!!" Instead of listening to their uncle, they clung to Ruyi and started their tantrums...

"Umm, kids let's listen to your uncle okay, I'm not your mommy okay? Just come visit me next time with your uncle okay?" Ruyi tried her best to show a ve~ry kind face to the kid even if she can hear her annoying secretary secretly snickering behind her back. 'I'll definitely deduct this from his pay... grrr!!!'

But the kids were relentless. In unison, they went and hug Ruyi and buried their faces in her neck while saying 'No' and 'I want to be with mommy'

Of course it scared the hell out of Ruyi, it was dangerous... they tried making several attempts in convincing the children but they won't just listen... Not to Ruyi, her secretary, their uncle nor their grandparents.... Totally cannot handle the situation anymore Ruyi faced the children.

"Why don't you kids come with me? We'll bring grandma and grandpa with us" Ruyi said to the kids as she raises the white flag in defeat within their grasp...

Everyone, as in every a.d.u.l.t in that room, except the kids, went silent with Ruyi's suggestion.

"Uhh, Ru-" Ruyi glared at Sebastian so he immediately corrected himself, "CEO, are you... sure?" he said while giving the 'I-don't-trust-you' look, which Ruyi replied with a 'Who-told-you-to-talk-you-wanna-die' look'

"We don't want to inconvenience you Miss... Let us try to-" the old lady was talking when the impatient Ruyi cut in.

"With all due respect Ma'am, we have tried every single possible way to convince the kids but they won't so please just accept this junior's request so we can all have no difficulties with them" Ruyi grumpily said which made the elders silent and just agree by nodding, not actually feeling offended by her tone, but amazed how strangers actually are alike

Ruyi immediately packed her left out work and came to the parking lot. Sebastian was waiting for her and let her enter the car. When they arrived at her house, she was greeted with wide open eyes of her servants.'Thank God Uncle isn't here at the moment...' Ruyi sighed when none of the servants actually greeted her nor welcomed their guest besides the old butler.

Ignoring them, she asked the head butler, Yin, for dinner. They ate dinner and spent some time playing until they felt exhausted.

They washed up and went to bed. Ruyi thought she could finally do her work when the two critters joined her in her bedroom (of course with Mrs. Kwon apologizing for her grandchildren). She just asked the Head Butler Yin to guide Mrs. Kwon in the guest room while she and the critters went to her bedroom, she had to lull them to sleep, which was very effective and she could finally get to continue her work.
