Doctor Bai let out an amused chuckle. He was actually surprised at the amount of laughter he had around these two transmigrated kids in less than an hour. Perhaps because he does not need to maintain his guard or act with them?

"That crazy lady had not mistaken that gate is the path to Hell. She knew the gate's purpose is to seal the path to the demon's world. Those people that live near that area know about it and had strongly cautioned others from approaching that place."

They had warned others of the danger, but why do they still live there?

"Then how does she plan to revive her daughter?"

"Fuck. She plans to bring back her daughter in exchange for the entire world's safety?" The Eighth Prince wondered what that crazy woman was thinking. "That's just selfish!"

Xiao Hua nodded in agreement. "She should have jumped into the pond instead of opening the gate."

"She did hate humans and no longer care for their being," Doctor Bai said.

"Then do you know where she is now? We should stop her before she opens the gate!" Xiao Hua said anxiously.

"It's still years before she has the strength to unseal the gate," Doctor Bai assured them. "She's currently healing herself inside Liu Chu Chu's spatial dimensional bracelet."

"Dark beauty?!" Xiao Hua and the Eighth Prince exclaimed in recognition.

"Dark beauty?" Doctor Bai looked amused. "That's a funny name."

"Blame Heise," Xiao Hua said. "Then we need to steal that bracelet from Liu Chu Chu!"

"Right... and it's super easy to do," the Eighth Prince said with thick sarcasm. "How are you going to do it? Catwalk into their base and ask her nicely?"

"Don't be stupid," Xiao Hua scolded the Eighth Prince. "We need to plan of course."

The Eighth Prince rolled his eyes and asked an important question. "You know how dark beauty will leave the space? She is a severely injured spirit without a body so she won't survive if she steps out of the space. Will she find a body later to possess?"

"You got it right. She will use Liu Chu Chu's body."

"That's rather sad."

The Eighth Prince shot Xiao Hua a surprised look. "Sad? You are sympathizing with Liu Chu Chu? I thought you hate her?"

Xiao Hua corrected the Eighth Prince. "I dislike her, yes, but it's such a sad fate for her. She will die knowing that there isn't a free cheat in the world."

Le XiaoTing had read many Chinese web novels with female leads armed with cheats that just popped out of nowhere to be gifted to them. The female leads hardly questioned their free cheats and quickly claimed ownership of them, despite having a powerful spirit tagging along with the cheat, either in form of cute animals, little cute babies, or hot overpowered males.

Fortunately for the female leads, their creator would never lead them to danger so the spirits accompanying the cheat often ended up as their pet, hubby or an inheritance given by their overpowered cheap parents.

Xiao Hua stared at the Eighth Prince with realization. "Wow, Heise. Looks like you don't love Liu Chu Chu as much as I thought you did." Or else Heise would have written that the dark beauty has no chance to escape or harm Liu Chu Chu.

"What are you talking about?" The Eighth Prince was genuinely confused when facing Xiao Hua's judging eyes.

Xiao Hua does not want to open a can of worms so she switched the topic. "Doctor Bai, Liu Chu Chu claimed that she is your student, do you know that?"

"I do not know of it." Anything that does not relate to the main event he was tasked to change would not ignite interest from him.

"Now that you know, maybe you could make use of it?" Xiao Hua suggested.

But what they yet to know was someone had already made use of the information and started a big event.

As Doctor Bai had not instructed to keep his arrival a secret, the Emperor decided to help reunite the student and teacher by inviting Liu Chu Chu to enter the palace to meet Doctor Bai.

The Empress, who knew the truth, prepared herself to watch a good show and did nothing to tamper her husband's enthusiasm.

Liu Chu Chu was spotted with a deep frown on her beautiful face after the eunuch left. Fortunately, it was not an Imperial decree, but it was still a formal invitation to enter the palace.

"Are you happy, Chu' Er?" Long Shan hugged his fiancée and dropped an affectionate kiss on her forehead. "You get to meet your esteemed teacher again."

Liu Chu Chu gave him a lovely smile despite feeling otherwise. She had already thought of this day long ago, before claiming her teacher to be someone with the surname 'Bai'. It was done on purpose to make everyone assumed she was the Legendary Doctor Bai's apprentice so that no one would be suspicious of her miraculous water.

Fortunately, she had prepared for an appropriate excuse for this event. No one, other than herself, knew that she was not the student of Doctor Bai. She did not even tell Long Shan the truth or else the secret of her jade bracelet will be revealed. This secret, along with her transmigrated status, was too dangerous to be revealed. These things, there was no need for Long Shan to know, as those matters were in the past and no longer important.

Putting on a smile, she said, "I would naturally be happy to meet Teacher again. He had helped me when I'm at my lowest and taught me medical skills to protect myself. Thanks to him, no one dares to look down on me again."

Long Shan hugged her tighter. "As long as I'm here, no one will dare to mock you again."

Liu Chu Chu smiled, so sweetly that Long Shan could not help but love her more. "I know."

"My love, I will enter the palace to ask for our marriage. We do not need that old man's permission, but for pretences, we need to."

"I know. Even if he refuses, he will not able to stop us from marrying."

Giving Liu Chu Chu a dazzling smile, so unfamiliar on his usual cold, indifference face, he said with a voice filled with so much love that easily warmed Liu Chu Chu's cold heart. "We will be forever together. No one will stop us, or I will kill them."

A teasing chuckle answered Long Shan's proclamation. "Will you kill that annoying hag then? She still holds onto the idea of becoming your princess consort."

"Soon," Long Shan promised. "Just a little bit more and we will have enough information to bring Official Wang down along with his family."

Official Wang was not a high ranking official, but due to his daughter's one-time act of bravery that saved the Empress, she was given the title of a third rank princess.

Long Shan would not have bothered with Official Wang, but his daughter, Wang Ting, insisted to marry him and refused other good matches. Because of her third rank princess title, not many dared to offend her and so her behaviour gotten worse and unsightly. Yet the girl was smart enough to keep on pretenses to be polite and caring in front of the Emperor and Empress, least her title would be taken away.

The Empress was worried as her saviour had reached past the age of marriage and had introduced fine young gentlemen for Wang Ting to choose. However, that miss only has her dreamy eyes on Long Shan and believed that one day he will come to his senses and marry her.

Long Shan had not bothered with her as she was not that annoying, but when Wang Ting decided to target his darling Chu' Er after the engagement announced, he decided that girl must be removed or else his love will be in danger.

"I can't wait to marry you," Liu Chu Chu said with calculative eyes as her bright red lips formed into a sly smile.

Long Shan chuckled with affection, easily calling her lie. "You just want to use your new authority."

"You knew it and you still dare to marry me," Liu Chu Chu mocked with eyes full of provocation, with her chin tilted up arrogantly.

"That's because I adore that part of you." Long Shan proved the truth of his confession by pressing his lower half onto her soft belly.

Liu Chu Chu's eyes turned bright, able to feel his hardwood clearly, and licked her bright red lips seductively. "Want me to help you with that?"

Like any hot-blooded man, despite the cold expression he often worn on his face, Long Shan could not resist his growing urge and hurriedly carried his fiancée to the bed with her laughter accompanying them all the way.

Not long after that, the laughter turned into soft moans and the servants outside the room wisely stayed far away to avoid interrupting them.
