Chapter 11:Avina’s God-tier Skill

When Lin Ke headed back to the Elemental Tower, he first went and built two extra Dormitories before doing anything else.

At this point, he had 4 people but 2 Dormitories.

Of course, it was not due to embarrassment from sleeping in a room with Dra and the others, but rather, it was due to the fact that whenever a Hero lived in a Dormitory, its Silver production doubled. With so many Heroes, why would he not build more Dormitories? It would be a waste of efficiency otherwise!

That was right, it was totally not because Lin Ke was too shy! He definitely did not want to waste the possible income from having Heroes stay in their own Dormitories!

Hence, Lin Ke made his decision. In the early-game, he would build 4 Dormitories and 2 Elemental Ponds, and when those were completed, he would upgrade to a Level 2 Elemental Tower.

With the Silver produced from the Dormitories, by tomorrow, he could start building the Enchantment Hall and the Refinery Hall.

Lin Ke had already started to feel the scarcity of Silver in this world. Just from building a few facilities on the first day, the Silver he got from the Starter Pack had already almost been used up.

If the Main Quests system was still around, it should have been much easier.

With that in mind, Lin Ke sighed in frustration.

Well, having these was better than nothing. If he just slowly saved up on resources, he would eventually get enough.

Looking at the current situation, at least the foundation had been set up. In the future, Silver would be produced every single day; the same applied for the Special Resources. At the end of the day, he could still slowly make his way towards the higher levels.

The only thing that frustrated Lin Ke right now was all the items in the Diamond Market that he could not afford. That was the issue that stung the most.

As there were more and more facilities, Lin Ke slowly realized how much EXP points these facilities brought him.

The Level 1 Elemental Tower itself would give him 50 EXP Points, but resource facilities like the Dormitories and Elemental Ponds would only bring him 20 EXP points.

However, the utility facilities like the Altar and Summoning Hall gave slightly more EXP Points, giving him 30 EXP Points each. That was quite a decent amount.

Based on Lin Ke's estimation, once he finished building the facilities that night, he would be en route to reach Level 2 by the next day… That was a tragic discovery.

This was an online gacha game after all. If someone needed more than 1 minute to reach Level 2, they were probably considered mentally challenged.

Basically, these were the types of games that allowed you to level up with just a few clicks early on.

Soon, Dra and the others returned to the Elemental Tower. As Lin Ke went to greet them, he found that they were carrying the corpse of an entire deer and a few live fish that were still flopping about.

As Lin Ke watched on, Dra lit a bonfire and started to barbecue the deer meat and grill the fish meat. He walked over to the bonfire and sat down in the middle of the group.

He was quite curious about the combat prowess these girls had displayed earlier.

"Dra, Avina, in that battle just now, did you use your full power?"

As Lin Ke's nose twitched, he looked over at the green light seeping out from Avina's hands. Bits of green powder dropped down from her hands and sprinkled onto the venison, instantly emitting a strange aroma.

"No, that's not the case." Dra was the first to answer, "I felt like my power was being largely restrained, I did not manage to unleash my full potential at all.

"Furthermore, my Innate Ability has also been sealed, otherwise, had my Draconic Might still been active, not a single beast would dare to live dozens of miles within this area, much less having these puny Werewolves challenge us."

Lin Ke nodded at Dra's words. That was more like the dragons in his imagination.

"Me too," Avina said as she continued watching the venison being roasted, "Otherwise, my Arrow of Starry Light would've been able to cover a much larger area. Why would it even cover such a small area if it was at its full potential? It even let a few insects escape!"

Obviously, not being able to clean up all the Werewolves took a hit at their ego. They had no choice but to blame it all on their lowered capabilities.

It seemed that right now, their Levels should be something akin to slowly unleashing their full potential. If they ever reached their full potential, Lin Ke did not know what effects Levelling up would bring them.

After hesitating briefly, Lin Ke asked the others curiously, "Then, do you guys know what kind of special abilities you have? Maybe something like Avina's Arrow of Starry Light?"

When Lin Ke asked this question, the girls hesitated. It was not that they did not want to say it out loud, but rather, it was because they had not paid close attention to themselves much. Whether they had such abilities was something that they truly did not know.

However, Dra quickly answered, "If you really want me to put a definition to my abilities in that manner, then, I guess they could be seen as two different abilities."

Dra raised up both her hands and showed them to Lin Ke. "My left arm is my shield, it is able to unleash the Dragon King Shield, blocking all damage not exceeding a certain amount. It can block any kind of damage. On the other hand, my right arm is able to unleash the Dragon King Divine Power, whipping out multiple attacks at once. Every attack is equivalent to my max damage output, in other words, a full-powered attack."

Lin Ke acknowledged her answer, he now vaguely knew what Dra's skills were.

Since the Attributes were mostly written in Mojibake, there was no way for Lin Ke to note down the Heroes' skills. He could only confirm their skills through their own descriptions.

Now, Dra's skills were quite clear to Lin Ke, one was the Dragon King Shield and the other was the Dragon King Divine Power.

The Dragon King Shield was a damage reduction skill, whereas the Dragon King Divine Power was a multi-attack skill. One was for DPS and the other was for defense, a classic meat shield skill combo.

Furthermore, Dra was a Red Dragon, a classic hyper-defensive legendary race.

Based on the game's classification, Red Dragon Queen Dra was most suited to be placed in the frontlines, becoming a super tanky Hero.

Then, Avina also started to explain her own abilities, "I think I can only unleash two of these abilities.

"First is the Arrow of Starry Light you've already seen. It can deal area-of-effect damage to enemies within a certain range. If it hits people that I acknowledge as party members, the damage will be negated and be replaced with a small amount of healing."

Avina's words left Lin Ke in shock. Never would he have expected that this skill of hers would be so amazing. Not only did it deal AoE damage to enemies, but it could also differentiate between friend and foe. Although it did not heal much, it should still be considered a god-tier skill!

Dra nodded. Just now, she was within the range of Avina's Arrow of Starry Light. Since she did not understand the effects of this attack, she had instinctively blocked the attack, even accidentally protecting the Werewolves near her.

Well, at least she did kill them off immediately after.

Now that she understood Avina's attack, if she were ever in a similar predicament in the future, naturally, she would know how to utilize it better.

However, from this interaction, Lin Ke could also understand the sheer difference in power between Dra and Avina.

Avina's Arrow of Starry Light had barely dealt any damage to Dra, she merely shrugged all of the hits off with her Dragon King Shield.
