Chapter 27:Hug

An hour passed in the blink of an eye, so Lin Ke added another hour of Advanced Development each for Dra and Avina, then headed toward Avina's room.

400 EXP Points could be gained from an hour. 200 EXP Points were needed to advance to Level 2, 240 Points were needed to get to Level 3, and 300 Points were needed to enter Level 4.

In other words, Avina and Dra would be at Level 4 after another hour.

That was if it was possible.

In many games, Heroes could not surpass a Player's Level. If they were almost going to exceed the Player's Level, their EXP Points would be locked until the Player could level up further.

That being said, there were also some games that allowed that to happen.

If the game that Lin Ke was in was the latter, Dra and Avina could level up to Level 4, but if the game was the former, they could only advance to the cap of Level 3.

Lin Ke's question would be answered in an hour.

Once he entered the Dormitory Avina was in, he noticed that the others were looking at him solemnly, so he laughed. "What happened? Why are your faces so dark?"

"My Lord, did you do something just now? My strength increased a little," Dra replied, somewhat criticizing him, "If this suddenly happens in a battle, I might end up in a bad situation. Do you want that to happen?"

"Uh, aren't we in the tower right now? Can an accident happen?" The smile on Lin Ke's face disappeared. "I upgraded you to another level, so I'm here to check on you."

"That's not the case, my Lord." Dra lowered her head and sighed. "I'm dissuading you from doing that because you'll get used to acting as you please, and it'll eventually become a habit. You may be careful now, but there'll be times when you want to experiment with something in the future, and it might cost you a Hero."

Lin Ke was vexed, so he waved his hand to cut her off. "Okay, okay, I'll apologize this time, okay? Next time, I'll definitely inform you in advance if I want to increase your strength!"

Upon hearing him, Dra shut her eyes and stood where she was without saying a word.

Lin Ke was embarrassed. Although he could ask Dra to move as she was blocking his path, it would seem like he was surrendering.

Hence, he decided not to move, and he stood up straight in front of her without saying a word too.

On the other hand, Avina and Lucy watched them quietly.

Lin Ke wanted to just leave in anger. 'I obviously know how dangerous it is to increase their strength without warning, so I only did it after making sure that they're all in the Elemental Tower.

'Besides, didn't I apologize already? Why is she behaving like this!

'I wasn't very sincere when I apologized, but at least I did!'

Lin Ke gritted his teeth as he was furious.

When he looked at Dra, who was standing there expressionlessly with her head lowered, he became less angry.

Eventually, he exhaled deeply, and surrendered.

No matter what, an extremely beautiful lady was standing in front of him to express her disapproval of his action, and even though she was stubborn, she did it out of a good intention. Nobody could be mad at her for long.

Moreover, it was true that Lin Ke changed a little. Perhaps because they had been addressing him as their Lord for the past two days, he really thought that he was supreme. As such, he was easily agitated when someone disobeyed him, and was reluctant to accept any criticism.

"Heh, what a joke."

Lin Ke ridiculed himself, and began adjusting his mentality.

"I'm sorry, Dra, it really was my fault," Lin Ke bowed to Dra and apologized to her - he dared not take a further step, because he was afraid of scaring Dra. Even then, Dra was already taken aback.

"No, no, no, my Lord, you don't have to do this," Dra spoke incoherently, but Lin Ke could tell that she was extremely happy.

'Are you really so happy because of my apology?' He wondered, and it suddenly struck him that his Heroes only existed because of him.

Lin Ke agreed with the extremely self-centered thought very much.

Ever since the female Heroes were summoned to this world, everything about them revolved around him.

Therefore, even if Dra "went against" him, at the end of the day, she did it for his own good.

While she sounded like she was worried about the other Heroes, she was actually mad because he might lose a Hero's help.

Once Lin Ke figured it out, the knot in his heart disappeared, and he felt so guilty that he subconsciously took a step forward to hug Dra. He patted her back. "Thank you for your reminder. If something like this happens in the future, you must remind me again!"

Lin Ke did not treat Dra as a lady at that moment as he treated her as a partner whom he could trust. He took a deep breath while hugging her tightly, and instantly smelled a pleasant smell.

By the time Lin Ke realized what it was, he was very embarrassed. In fact, he could clearly feel the embarrassment, so he froze on the spot.

A few seconds later, he finally withdrew himself and took a step back.

Dra was already blushing then, and she dared not look up at him. With that, the room was dead silent again.

However, the atmosphere was lovely this time.

Upon noticing that Avina and Lucy were whispering to each other, Lin Ke uttered embarrassedly, "I'll take a look over there. Don't forget that you'll be upgraded to another level soon."

Subsequently, he ran away.

Dra stood there for a long time before she put her hands on her reddened cheeks. "Oh, oh, oh, it's wonderful, he actually hugged me."

"Hehe."

"Hehe."

Her partners giggled, then ran over to her and mentioned, "Sneaky guy, die!"

Avina, who was limping, ran the fastest.

Lin Ke flushed when he left the Dormitory, and he only stopped to pant when he was directly below the tower.

It was his first time hugging a non-blood-related lady for such a long time, and the strange feeling made him think about the moment over and over again, but he also felt so awkward that he wanted to forget it.

While having conflicting thoughts, Lin Ke entered the Tower Sight, and noticed that a few Humans were spying on them from afar.
