Lin Ke was still slightly dissatisfied even after receiving plenty of rewards.

This was because he realized that there were rewards that he should have received.

For instance, he should have gained something for leveling up to a certain Level and obtaining a certain combat power.

These were basic rewards in web games, yet he did not see them.

Lin Ke guessed that they were probably gone.

Similar to a System where Players fought monsters to level up, he could only rely on the EXP Points earned from facilities to level up.

This made him level up very slowly. It was notable that the lowest Level to get rewarded on the first day was Level 30, which meant that a Player could possibly level up to around Level 40 on the first day.

If a Player could advance to Level 40 in a day, one would probably be at Level 100 after playing for a year. By then, over a hundred million EXP Points might be needed to move up one level, and Lin Ke would not be able to level up much by relying on the small amount of EXP Points from facilities.

Of course, he was not absolutely sure of that as he did not know what the future held.

He could only make as many plans as possible for the future based on the present.

After having a good laugh, Lin Ke took a deep breath, and was ready to build new facilities and proceed with new upgrades.

The Level 3 Elemental Tower resulted in a total of 30 facility units – although the units were not filled up yet when the tower was still at Level 2, Lin Ke was ready to fill as many units as possible in the shortest time since the tower was already at Level 3.

Lin Ke received information on the conditions for the Elemental Tower to level up to Level 4.

The conditions were simple: 4 Level 3 Dormitories, 4 Level 3 Elemental Ponds, a Summoning Hall, a Research Institution, and a few other facilities had to be built.

On top of that, there was an extra condition.

The Player had to be at least Level 10.

A conclusion could be easily drawn from this.

The Elemental Tower’s Level was restricted by the Player’s Level, which meant that the tower would not level up if Lin Ke did not increase his level.

Therefore, Lin Ke immediately prepared to fill up the facility units after seeing the notification. In any case, he had earned an unbelievably huge amount of Silver through an Event.

Even though 500,000 Silver would only be gained tomorrow, the total amount of 1.35 million Silver simply made him feel like he had wealth equivalent to that of an entire nation!

Nevertheless, when he thought about it seriously, the money did not seem like a lot…

Lin Ke figured that the amount needed to upgrade an equipment set would soon be increased to above the amount that he gained.

Based on his experience, that was usually the case in most games.

Firstly, Lin Ke counted the facility units, and noticed that he previously built a total of 14 facilities.

They included 5 Dormitories, 3 Elemental Ponds, a Summoning Hall, an Altar, a Smithing Hall, a Library, a Trading Hall, and a Refinery Hall. Each of them gave him hundreds of EXP Points.

Since the Elemental Tower had advanced to Level 3, Lin Ke decided to build all the one-off utility facilities before he proceeded with the resource facilities.

After he checked, he realized that a lot of facilities had not been built.

For example, the Research Institution, and the Special Facilities in the Summoning Hall such as Earth Elemental Military Camp and Fire Elemental Military Camp.

While the military camps did not take up any facility units as they were annexes of the Summoning Hall, the Research Institution would occupy a spot. With that, half of the total facility units were used.

The time needed to build the Research Institution was an hour, so Lin Ke started building it. Afterward, he built a Dungeon too as it had not been built. As such, there were facilities being built on the 2 building lists.

Subsequently, he began looking at the brand new facilities that came with the Level 3 Elemental Tower.

Among the brand new facilities, the one that attracted Lin Ke the most was the Arena that he had been yearning for.

The Arena was costly as it cost 5,000 Silver, as well as 1,000 Wood and Stone each.

However, this was simply a drop in the bucket for Lin Ke, who had just gained a lot of rewards.

“It’s finally here. Once it’s done building, I’ll try and see if I can fight for a rank to get Diamonds to help out with my expenses.”

Lin Ke took a deep breath. He was extremely delighted about the Arena finally being available.

Nonetheless, due to his Level and combat power, he was worried about whether he could fight for a ranking.

That was because he was still a beginner at the moment, and according to the settings, he had not even passed the beginner’s task.

There were NPCs in the Arena, and the ones with a higher ranking would have higher combat power, but even one with the lowest combat power could only be defeated by Players around Level 15.

Players would normally activate the Arena after completing the beginner’s task, so as to fight for an official ranking.

Following that, Players would increase their strength to fight in the Arena again to strive for a higher ranking.

Since Lin Ke was not even Level 10 yet, he was concerned about whether he could defeat the first NPC to snatch the character’s ranking.

If he could not, the Arena would be meaningless to him.

That being said, he had enough Resources to afford it.

Lin Ke decided to build it only after the Research Institution and the Dungeon were done, so he looked at the other facilities.

The next facility that came into view was a Bloodbath Hall.

Lin Ke had no idea what it was for, but it seemed like it was for combat, and he guessed that he could gain some Resources from it.

It was also possible that he could get Equipment from it too. For instance, there were holy tools, divine tools, magic tools, and so on in other games, which were known as Special Equipment. If that was the case, the Resources for those pieces of Equipment would be included as well.

Lin Ke listed the facility as one of the facilities to be built in the early phase.

That concluded the utility facilities that would be built, thus he proceeded to look at defensive facilities.

Wall.

The Wall was a facility that increased the Elemental Tower’s Defense Ability, so the more it was built, the stronger the tower’s Defense Ability.

Every Wall that was built would occupy a facility unit.

The next defensive facility was an Arrow Tower.

Lin Ke was thrilled about both facilities, because if he built both of them, the Werewolves would surely be badly injured if they attacked again!

Unfortunately, he only had 2 building lists at the moment, so he could only wait until the other facilities were done.

Soon enough, Dra asked Lin Ke to undergo the Tough Shield Warrior’s training.

Consequently, his dirty blood was removed again, and Kara healed him.

When Dra looked at the dispirited Lin Ke, she asked, “Do you want to experience the most basic Warrior’s training?”
