Chapter 6: Big Brother

Lin Siyi thought that after escaping junior high’s biology classes, she would never touch the subject again, but she hadn’t expected that she’d spend the entire day studying human anatomy here!

When the teacher at the lectern left, she specially said, “Every student, you must know, in order to become a healing mage, having just power isn’t enough. What’s important is still to properly learn the basics! After class, you should also remember to consolidate what you learned in class!”

Lin Siyi saw the teacher leave and immediately lifted up her head and spirited up.

Seeing the female lead tidying up her stuff, just as she prepared to go over, she was blocked by two people. She could only yell, “Xueqing, don’t go yet. I have something I need to ask you for.”

Nan Xueqing lightly tapped her desk with her finger. The other had become more and more interesting.

She lifted her head and warmly smiled. “Okay.”

Then, she sat back down.

“Xueqing, you’re not going?”

Nan Zi naturally had heard Lin Siyi speak, but when had she changed her attitude toward Xueqing to such… a good attitude. Could she be plotting another evil scheme?

This made her a little worried.

Nan Xueqing naturally saw the worry in her eyes, saying, “Don’t worry. You should go back first and wait for me.”

Nan Zi hesitated, “Are you really okay?”

“I’m okay.”

Seeing the female lead sitting and waiting for her, Lin Siyi also let out a sigh of relief. She looked toward Liang Jing and Jiang Chun who were before her. “You two, is there something else?”

Liang Jing glanced at Nan Xueqing at the side and spoke in a low voice, “Siyi, did you think of another idea to deal with her?”

“Nan Xueqing that slut, we’re afraid that if you go against her alone, you’ll suffer losses. Why don’t you tell us your idea and see if we can help you?”

These were such good friends.

“You’re overthinking. I just have a few things to talk to her about. If you have nothing important with me, then I’ll be going.”

“Lin Siyi, we haven’t finished talking. Why are you leaving!?” Jiang Chun shouted at once, wanting to go up and block her but was pulled back by Liang Jing.

“Jiang Chun, don’t you think Lin Siyi’s acting kind of strange?”

“What strange? I think she just doesn’t want to help us. That’s why she’s intentionally finding excuses to avoid us.”

Regarding the matter of team formation, it wasn’t that Liang Jing and Jiang Chun couldn’t find people from the A institute. It was only that for them, wanting to find a better team was somewhat hard.

Liang Jing’s eyes carelessly landed on Zhang Hua who was in the back corner quietly tidying up her bag. She hinted toward Jiang Chun with her eyes.

Lin Siyi and Nan Xueqing walked out of the school building side by side.

“Xueqing, you have to go to the infirmary, right? I also happen to be going there to see Xiao Rui. Let’s go together.”

“To be honest, the incident was really my fault in the end. Xiao Rui’s my best friend. To think that I let her be hurt even more on her injuries. I’m really wretched.”

“Luckily Xiao Rui was okay in the end. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be able to get over my conscience for my entire life….”

The whole time, Nan Xueqing didn’t say much, only listening to Lin Siyi’s what-is-called profound self-criticism.

“Lin Siyi!” A deep, resounding, and rough voice suddenly sounded.

“Who, who’s calling me?”

When Lin Siyi turned, she saw in the distance a black haired boy with a bundle of raging flames in his hand madly rushing towards her. He seemed like he was going to take her down himself in mutual destruction.

Fuck!!

This was- this was… Lin Chuliu!

“Run!”

Lin Siyi immediately grabbed the female lead in a hurry and ran forward.

“Why’s there no road to take? I’m going to die!”

She saw the wall before them. Lin Siyi seemed to return to when she was young and had been caught by her big brother, hoisted up, and hit.

She was already ready to die.

“Come with me.”

The female lead’s voice rang out like her last hope.

Lin Siyi followed after her. She had actually found a little path in weeds taller than people, going left and right, making her dizzy.

Originally, she thought Lin Chuliu had lost them, but she hadn’t anticipated hearing him bellow in anger again, “Lin Siyi, you better come out! How many times have I told you to be kind and love your classmates? And what did you do!?”

The voice that sounded like he wanted to dismember her into thousands of pieces made Lin Siyi shiver. “There’s a door here. Let’s go in here quick!”

Nan Xueqing hesitated for a second in her steps, but she still followed after her and entered.

Creak. The door was opened.

Lin Siyi’s hand was covered in dust. “Why is there such a dilapidated place on campus?”

“Huh, this place is actually pretty big.” Lin Siyi looked toward the female lead behind her. “We should find a place to hide. Lin Chuliu might not be able to find us.”

Lin Siyi wanted to go to the room that looked like a classroom in front, but she was stopped by Nan Xueqing.

“Let’s go over there.”

Lin Siyi looked to the right.

“”

what. If she didn’t see it wrong, that was a temple… temple?

Was this school so user friendly?

They even knew to let students pay respects to Buddha for good grades and exams?

Nan Xueqing looked around a bit. “Let’s go.”

Looking at the female lead who was pulling her hand, Lin Siyi had an indescribable sense of pride in her heart.

As a villainess character, she had actually effortlessly become good friends with the female lead. Would her happy and wonderful days from now on be far?

After Nan Xueqing entered the room, she looked toward Lin Siyi, seeing the other staring at her hand… like a pervert….

She felt a little scared in her heart and directly shook off the other.

“Is- is there something wrong?”

Lin Siyi thought that Lin Chuliu had chased over here, immediately circling around the surroundings. “Lin Chuliu’s here!?”

Nan Xueqing was expressionless. “Isn’t Lin Chuliu your brother?”

Lin Siyi finally came to her senses that this wasn’t her own world. Then why did the Lin Chuliu here look exactly like her real brother?

Lin Siyi touched her face and harshly hit her head. She had forgotten that her face here was also the same as her original face.

That was why she didn’t need to get confused.

It was tragic. The original owner was practically a fellow sufferer with her, having a mental case for a brother.

Having nothing to do, he just liked to criticize and hit his blood little sister, and he was even the type to show no mercy.

In reality, Lin Siyi could be said to have been brought up by her brother. Who let them be a pair of pitiful left-behind children?

It was reasonable to say that they should be a mutually warm and loving pair. Who would have known that this three year older big brother just loved pretending to be an adult?

Whether or not there was anything going on, he just liked randomly inspecting how her writing was going. One word written badly was one hit on the hand by a board. He even focused on her left hand since the right hand was obviously left for her to write homework with.

In Lin Chuliu’s own words, it was, ‘My little sister can’t write well with even two hands. Leaving her own hand’s also a waste. That’s why I’ll spare her right hand. She can use that to wipe her ass.’

That’s why more so one shouldn’t talk about making trouble at school. When that got to the upperclassman Lin Chuliu’s ears, it would turn into her getting beaten without leaving her a single bit of face in front of everyone.

However, the sibling relationship between the original owner and Lin Chuliu was described as a bit more subtle.

This Lin Chuliu had one habit, which was loving to hold up school rules. He didn’t care about other people. With the original owner as his little sister, she became his important target of assessment.

If he found his little sister broke school rules, he would tread through the B institute gates and personally teach the original owner how to remember the so-called rules.

This time, the original owner violated the school rule of “classmates are the best of companions, companions who do not slander, scorn, or discriminate.”
