Chapter 7: Little Ghost

“Xueqing, you’re so kindhearted that you likely don’t know. Big brothers are split into two types. One type is the good brother, and the other is the bad brother. But Lin Chuliu is very unfortunately a bad brother.”

Nan Xueqing looked at the sky outside. Large portions were already dyed orange. She turned her head to look at Lin Siyi who was whispering on the prayer cushion, opening her mouth wanting to say something yet ultimately not able to say it.

“There doesn’t seem to be any movement. I’ll go look if Lin Chuliu has gone far away.”

Lin Siyi got up and just as she was about to exit the temple, the female lead suddenly spoke.

“Lin Siyi.”

Her voice was muffled yet abnormally charming and thought-provoking.

Lin Siyi looked toward the female lead who was like a fairy above the common mortals. Her head was slightly lowered, a slight curve in the corners of her mouth. She had a sort of fatal attractiveness that let Lin Siyi unable to resist coming closer.

“What are you doing?”

She came to her senses, realizing that she had actually already moved forward, closer. She was close enough to the female lead that she could even feel the other’s breath and couldn’t help but hold her breath.

Fuck, looking at the female lead’s skin so closely, there actually wasn’t even single flaw. She was really too perfect.

“Get away from me.”

Nan Xueqing’s voice faintly contained a sliver of anger.

Could it be that the female lead didn’t like other people being too close to her?

Lin Siyi promptly backed away a few steps.

Lin Siyi covered her startled little heart, reflexively taking a few steps back.

Not faraway, the smile on Nan Xueqing’s face disappeared. She coldly looked at the panicked Lin Siyi.

Just as she prepared to turn around, Lin Siyi suddenly fiercely rushed toward her, all of a sudden letting her fall to the ground.

Covering her eyes, she trembled and mumbled to herself, “I can’t see it- I can’t see it, we can’t see it- don’t come over- don’t come over, celestial spirits and god protect, there’s nothing here- I didn’t see anything…….”

The shadow, “…….” Could this perhaps be an idiot?

Lin Siyi had nearly forgotten that in the original work, this world not only had magic but also had things like ghosts.
