Chapter 36: The Control

Alina Dalca's POV

The honeymoon that Laura gave us really made us close and our bond closer. I can hear Kyle's thought as we have completed the bonding ceremony as he was making love to me all night long for the whole two weeks. I cannot feel sore as I was undead but man, that guy just beat me when he was human the first time I have sex with him.

we were on our way to Romania as Kyle told me that he needed to get check up on the lodge as he did not trust that much on Marco and when I told Marco that he just shrugged that he said Kyle don't want him to be the boss of the company.

"Whatever, Kyle. I have my own now and I don't need our father's company to keep me alive," Marco joked as he elbowed Kyle before they went on with the fight that I have to stop it.

"Boys, stop it. I don't just come here to hear you squealing all the time," I said as I was rubbing my temples. Kyle must be sensing something as he went to my side.

"Are you okay, honey?" Kyle asked as he ordered Marco to leave us alone. He just laughed as he told us that we might need more time on our honeymoon.

"I don't know. It just…I feel tired all the time," I said as I was looking into Kyle's eyes. It held warmth, just like the first time I saw them.

"Come on, let's get you something to drink," Kyle said as he went to help me on the bed before getting me a cup of tea. He gave it to me as I thanked him.

"thank you," I said.

"No problem," he replied as he took his seat beside me as we went on silence, hugging each other before I fell asleep and I don't know when did Kyle disappear from my side.

In the middle of the night, I was awake as I needed to pee. I went to the bathroom as I can't hold it anymore. After I left the bathroom, I looked for Kyle but he was nowhere to be found. We have been sleeping at the lodge as the mansion was renovating and we needed a place to stay.

"kyle?" I called out as I knew that he would hear me with his sensitive hearing.

"Kyle?" I said as I went inside the bathroom and looked around the lodge. His seat was cold as he had left a long time ago.

"where could he be?" I said as I looked at the clock. It was almost 1 AM. I looked outside the window as I wondered if Kyle went out of the lodge. I sighed before taking a jacket and my phone. I went outside the lodge as I tried to call his phone. It rang but no answer. I tried a few times before I gave up as I used the phone as a torch.

"kyle?" I said as I was looking inside the woods. I went up the trail as it was a clear path than the first time I saw it.

"kyle? It's not funny. Where are you?" I shouted as I knew that he might have been around the lodge. He wouldn't go far. I can hear that something was lurking inside the woods but it did not scare me. I knew because I was the top predator. Suddenly, something came from behind and I don't have enough time to avoid it.

I got up on my feet before I was running for my life. I went up the trail as I knew that it would be clear at this time as Kyle has told me that it will be grand opening after the renovation. I was huffing as I was running for my life as the pack was chasing after me.

"huh, huh," I huffed as I went up for the hills. I tried to vampiric run but it did not work. I don't know what happened as I tried to outrun the wolves. unfortunately, I stumbled upon a branch and I went down rolling the hills. I was hitting everything on my way down as I was trying to grab a branch to stop my fall. I got one and I stopped it as I went to lean on it.

I was huffing very heavily before the wolves came in front of me. I gasped as I looked at them. I heaved as I was embracing myself when I saw a wolf was coming at me. I blocked my face, waiting for the attack but there was nothing. I was afraid to open my eyes before I heard a sound of tearing. I looked up and saw that Kyle was holding the wolf's heart in his hand.

"Sorry, I was late. Are you hurt?" He asked as he looked at me. I nodded as I was trying to say that I'm okay. He nodded before he threw the lifeless wold aside.

"Right, who's next?" He said before he went vampiric run as he took all the hearts of the wolves and threw them lifeless aside. I looked shocked at him as I tried to stand. I wanted to stop him from being a killer.

"Kyle, stop!" I screamed as I knew that he would not hear me when I shouted at him.

"Kyle, no. stop! Stop it before it consumed you!" I shouted as I was trying to vampiric run but failed. My feet were hurting as I can feel blood was coming out from my legs.

"hahaha!" Kyle was laughing wickedly as he was devouring the hearts. I gasped at him as I tried to talk him out of it.

"Kyle, stop it. This is not you," I shouted as Kyle just ignored me.

"Kyle!" I used my power as his creator as he stopped in his action. I smiled as I knew that my control on him was working.

"Drop it," I said as he threw the heart from his hand. His hands were covered in blood and his mouth was red from eating the wolves.

"what is happening?" Kyle said strained as he was turning around to face me.

"Stop it. Don't give in to the urge. Look at me, Kyle. Look at me," I said as I tried to talk to him. He did look at me but his eyes were not red. It was pitch black as it has consumed his white corneas. I cannot find who he was anymore.

"Kyle," I said before he snarled at me.

"kyle, stop. listen to me. listen to my voice," I said as I tried to move around him. He was walking as well as he was crawling on all four. He was cracking his head side to side as he looked at me.

"Kyle, remember me? It's me, your wife, Alina," I said as I was holding my hand in front of him. I don't know what happened but he jumped on me but I tried to hold him with telekinesis but he broke it before he jumped on me and hold me to the ground.

"ugh," I grunted as I was struggling to get me out of his restrained.

"raw!" He roared as he holds me down on the ground that made my ears pitched from his screaming.

"I, Alina Braille De Ville-Dalca, command you to release me as your master," I said as I looked inside his eyes. Kyle was not in there but only an animal that was losing its control. I panicked as I don't know what to do but I did the unexpected of the animal. I kissed him as I can sense that he was biting my lips until it drew blood.

"ow," I said as I was tasting blood on my tongue but it did seem to be working. He was frozen before he was pushing me to the ground and claimed my lips.

"Hmm," I grunted as he was kissing me roughly. My hands that were in his grip was released before I went to roam his body. I can feel his hard abs and his smooth skin.

Abs?Smooth skin? since when Kyle has those?

"Kyle?" I said as I broke the kiss before he roared again and pushed me on the ground. I groaned as I can feel his lips on me again.

"hey, let go of my wife, you nasty beast," Kyle's voice was drumming on my eardrums.

Kyle? So if that's Kyle, then who am I kissing? I thought I can feel that the creature was off from me.

"Alina, are you alright?" He said as he helped me to get onto my feet.

"I'm fine. Just some bruises," I said as I looked at my arms. Kyle grunted before he went to look at the beast in front of us.

"How dare you?!" He screamed before he jumped on the beast and they fought. I was screaming as I looked that Kyle was taking out of his heart with his bare hands.

"Kyle!" I shouted as I can sense that he was changing. Kyle turned around to look at me but he was changing. It's not my Kyle.

"it's nice to see you, my love," Kyle's voice was changing as I recognized it anywhere.

"Jason?" I asked as I can see that Kyle's face was smirking wickedly at me.

"Well, at least you remember your ex-fiancée," he said before I gasped at him. What has he done to Kyle?!
