Upon leaving the sea of green trees, the view of a large wooden black gate appear within his sight. After walking for a day Shin Jiao has returned to the town of Dis. Before entering he changed his clothing and donned in a blue robe, which he bought from the market when he first visited the town.

As he walks down the stone paved road, he noticed that the town seemed lively. A lot of cultivators and mortals are trading things on the road side. On the street banners can be seen with the words 'unified town' written on them.

"Excuse me. What's going on in the town today?"

Shin Jiao asked as he approached a small booth and asked the man behind it.

"Oh, you might be new in town my good sir. Today is the first day of the clan unification. The Zok clan ancestor united every clan in town and stop the hundred years of conflict, which I think is really good for the town and its people."

This made Shin Jiao a little worried, if the clan unites then the Li clan might become more powerful and this would endanger his life even more. He was a little hesitant but he still asked the man.

"Have you heard about the Li clan lately?"

The man was a little surprised, but looked at Shin Jiao with probing gaze.

"Are… are you a member of the Li clan?"

"Aw, no, no I'm not."

Shin Jiao said while shaking his head.

"Oh, that's better. The Li clan was wiped out during the conflict."

This information left Shin Jiao a little dumbfounded. The Li clan the strongest clan in town was wiped out. Though this news is a little unbelievable but it also brought him great comfort.

"Ah, thank you for the information sir. Here take this."

Shin Jiao gave the man a mid-grade spiritual stone and left. The man was surprised but was happy and thanked him as we walks away.

On an alley lays a large two storey building with a lot of people coming in and out of it. On the gate of the building the words 'Green store auction house' are carved on a huge wooden signage. This was the auction house that the store manager from the Green store mentioned. Shin Jiao intended to try auctioning some of his things so that he could gain more spiritual stones.

'So this the auction house of the town. I can try to sell some level 5 demon beast parts in here.'

Shin Jiao thought as he walks inside the large building.

Inside he can see a lot of people trading demon beast materials, medicinal plants, and pills. As he look around he saw a vacant counter so he approached it and saw a lovely young lady with a wide smile on her face and long dark brown hair tied in a ponytail.

"How may I help you sir?" she greeted him with an polite smile.

"Yes, I would like to auction some demon beast materials."

"Sure sir no problem, what level and how many?"

"I have 2 demon beast materials, all are level 5."

Upon hearing this the girl was suddenly stupefied. Because of the clan unification the town is willing to buy almost all of the level 5 demon beast cores and materials as those can help a cultivator breakthrough to golden core.

"Miss? So how much is the initial price?"

"Well, usually the starting prize is 5k mid-grade spiritual stones if we auction it. But we can buy it directly from you for 10k mid-grade spiritual stones. So what would it be sir?"

"Hmmm… I'll go with the auction."

"Uh… Could… could you please wait for a second, I need to call the manager."

The girl ran inside a room at the back of the reception area. Then it didn't take too long when a man that looks in his 30's came out with her. He has a neat looking face and an affable smile, his blue robe is made of high quality material signifying his status.

"Hello, I am Victor Lee one of the managers of this auction house. My I know your name sir?"

"I'm called Shin Jiao, Oh… And I also have this…"

Shin Jiao fished out the card he received from the manager of the small Green store.

"Oh, you should have shown this a while ago. But anyway let me lead you inside sir. This way please!"

The manager led Shin Jiao towards a room. Since he had already experience selling something and the room also looked almost the same, he just followed the custom and sat down. The tea they serve was of good quality, and the manager took something out from the drawer of a table.

"My Jiao, this are the prices quoted by our Green Store for level 5 demon beast cores and materials. And if you want to buy or exchange something for it, this is also the equivalent exchange."

He was handed a two not too thick books with many quoted prices on it.

"May I see the materials and the cores please?"

Shin Jiao immediately transferred two freshly killed regular level 5 demon beast. He then gave the spatial ring which he received from the Green store from before, to Manager Lee.

After checking the merchandise Manager Lee transferred the contents to another spatial ring and gave it back to Shin Jiao. Then he gave Shin Jiao a receipt and a card for after the auction.

"This conclude our trade, please feel free to browse over our other products esteemed sir."

The manager happily suggested. In his mind he felt elated as their auction house didn't get too much level 5 demon beast materials as of late. So this is a great profit for them at this time.

As Shin Jiao skimmed through the pages he saw something that caught his interest. It was a shiny black stone with a circumference of 5 inches. Upon seeing this his eyes lit up, this is a void stone.

Though a little excited he just kept his emotion in check. He wanted to get a good price for the black void stone.

"Mr. Lee, how much are these?"

He ask while pointing to some random object plus the void stone.

"Oh, the prices for the three objects that you pointed are 2k mid-grade spiritual stone each. But for the black rock, it is not for sale. The owner specified that he only wanted it to be exchange for an Iron Frost spider queen carcass and core."

The manager after saying that felt a little sad. It's like he knows the person who wanted to trade with the black ore personally.

"Okay, I'll take this 500 year old ginseng and the black rock."

Shin Jiao said nonchalantly as he gave back the brochure to the manager who had a stiff expression in his face. Then not long after his complexion turns better and then he gave a grateful smile.

"Here is the carcass and the core and 2,000 mid-grade spiritual stones."

Shin Jiao put the previous dimensional ring to the table. He just put the things in the ring from his mansion space.

The manager quickly called for an assistant and gave some instructions. Then he checked the ring that Shin Jiao gave, an excited and a happy expression appear in his face.

After sometime, the assistant came back, but then a handsome young master followed from behind who suddenly barges inside the room.

"Manager Lee! There you are. Last time I was here I saw a black rock in the brochure. I have to buy the black stone. Name your price, how much spiritual stones do you need?"

The young man wearing a golden silk robe suddenly said as he sat down next to Shin Jiao.

This made Manager Lee stupefied and was unable to answer immediately. But then he recovered and with an apologetic look he bowed to Shin Jiao. Then he took the ring from his assistant and presented it to Shin Jiao.

"Thank you Manager Lee. I will take my leave first."

These series of action made the young man angry. Then before Shin Jiao could go out of the room.

"Wait! Such disrespect against this young lord, I cannot tolerate. Do you know who I am commoner?"

The young man proudly stood and walk towards Shin Jiao. He could not believe that some commoner just treated him as air. Since young he had never ever received such treatment. As a young master of a rich family his status always made those around him respectful no matter where he go.But the attitude of the youth in front of him and the manager made him feel disrespected and his anger burst forth. Then his gaze went to the ring on Shin Jiao's hand and with a glint of craftiness he sneered.

"Young man, he is our Green store customer please…"

But before Manager Lee could finish his words the proud youth raised his hand.

"I am Delver Delamar, the youth master of the Delamar clan of Liberty City. I am also a disciple of the Lotus Sect of the Xi Empire."

The smug look in his face made Shin Jiao almost choked in laughter, but he restrained himself. He could not believe that he actually encountered such a scene in his new life here. This made him feel interested and curious. So he just went with the flow and tried to pamper the young master, who know maybe he could gain something from it.

"Oh, I didn't know that it's the young master. Please forgive this plebeian for his mistakes."

Shin Jiao made a courteous bow toward the youth. Then his eyes went wide as he pretend to find something interesting about the proud youth's golden necklace.

"Wow! This is a level 2 protection stone right? Wow! Young master is truly an amazing person. This is the first in my life poor life to see such an amazing trinket"

This series of action from Shin Jiao made Manager Lee dumbfounded as he never expect this youth reaction from the provocation. He thought that the youth would be angered and will use force to challenge the pompous young man.

"Ha ha! You have eyes. I guess even though you're a low class person but your judgment is good. Yes, this is a good protection necklace. Okay now be gone, this young master have business here."

The youth waved his hand gesturing for Shin Jiao to leave.

"Then I would say my farewell great young master."

As Shin Jiao bowed the corner of his mouth curved upwards.

'What a stupid fool, he he.'

Then Shin Jiao slowly walks backward like a slave kissing up to his master.

When he was outside the door he reverted back to his calm self and walked directly out of the auction house. But before he could walk further something caught his eyes, two days from now an auction would be held. One of the items to be auctioned is a thousand year old fiery orchid. According to what his teacher taught him this orchid has the effect of helping a cultivator develop a mid-class fire attribute, if successfully refined into a pill called fiery essence pill. If he can take this pill his cultivation level would soar up and at the same time he could conjure a mid-class fire for his alchemy.

This made Shin Jiao excited and can't wait to join the auction. So he decided to rent a room at the immortal tavern and waited for the auction day.
