Chapter 33

Shin Jiao actually had an idea in his mind upon seeing the anxious look on the woman's eyes. But first he needs to know why the woman really wanted to buy the silver slab.

"Do you really need to buy that thing?"

"Sigh… Yes, I really need this slab for my cultivation. I also need it to help my clan. When I learned about it yesterday I knew that this is the artifact that can be of great help to me. I just wanted to borrow some money, I will try to exchange your spirit stones to something that I have."

The woman explained with helplessness clearly shown in her eyes.

With that Shin Jiao became happy. But he need to craft it first, which won't take that long. So he suddenly stood up and walks towards the door.

"Wait! Where are you going?" the woman was a little confused why Shin Jiao would go out.

"To the… to the men's room! Stay here I'll be back."With that he quickly went out.

The woman had an incredulous look as her gaze went to the private lavatory inside the room.

When Shin Jiao was outside the door he checked his surroundings. Upon seeing that it is safe he quickly went inside his mansion space.

It didn't take long for Shin Jiao to finish crafting and installing an energy converting rune to the flat green stone pendant of a silver necklace. To his amazement this artifact actually emits a strong spiritual energy. But the downside is that is needs skin contact before a cultivator can absorb the energy within. With this Shin Jiao felt contented with his work.

He quickly jump out of his mansion space and return to the room. When he came back the woman was once again stupefied. It didn't even take him a couple of minutes to piss, which made her a little suspicious of where he went.

Shin Jiao sat down and took out the necklace from his spatial ring and showed it to her. The later was a bit confused as she could not feel anything from the necklace. But Shin Jiao just smile and gestured for her to open her palm, which she unconsciously followed.

But her facial expression suddenly changed when the pendant touches her palm. As a strong spiritual energy entered her body.

"This is… How could this be?" Mae Namgung had was truly dumbfounded as she can clearly feel the strong energy coming from the tiny green stone.

Then with an excited eyes she quickly take out 3 black cards. Each card contains 100k mid-grade spiritual stones. She immediately gave this to Shin Jiao, as she didn't want the later to change his mind, so she quickly traded. This made Shin Jiao disappointed as he was treated like an untrustworthy person. But he knows that in this world not all people can be trusted so he just let it be. Seeing the many spiritual stones now in his hands, he felt elated anyway.

After the trade the woman wore the artifact, closed her eyes and began to cultivate while a happy expression can be seen in her closed eyes.

When Shin Jiao's gaze went back to the stage, he saw the familiar but weathered plant inside the box. He couldn't help himself but panic, as this was the plant he was aiming to bid, the fiery orchid.

But what made Shin Jiao confused is the weathered state of the orchid. In that state it would only last for a day before it will completely perish. So he need to make his bid and obtain the plant. He look at the bids so far and the price is at 50k and the bidders are not too many.

"I bid 60k." Shin Jiao raised his voice.

The crowd became silent as this would be considered as the highest price for the fiery orchid.Within another private room on the second floor a young man suddenly stood up. The young man actually recognized Shin Jiao's voice. The young man was suddenly filled with rage.

"Young master, what's wrong?"

A woman wrapped in his embrace a while ago him asked coquettishly.

"He he. Go and tell the group that I found the one who has the black stone. Meet me outside."

This was Delver Delmar, the rich looking young master that Shin Jiao met. After Manager Lee told him that the black stone was not available anymore. He ask him how, but Manager Lee wouldn't tell. Then his suspicion was in Shin Jiao as according to his sources he was the only one who came in the room. There is a big possibility that the spatial ring given to him has the black stone.

"Yes, young master."

The woman went out of the room, leaving Delver Delamar sitting on the chair with an evil grin on his face.

Shin Jiao actually won the bid for the fiery orchid which cost him 70k mid-grade spiritual stones. After receiving the plant he checked it and secretly send it to the mansion space. Now he need to hurry up and check if the plant would absorb the thick natural energy inside his mansion space.

The auction finished not long after that. To his surprise the demon beast materials that he had was sold for 100k plus each. Which tells him that the town really needs those level 5 and above demon beast materials.

Now that everything is done Shin Jiao decided to leave. When they went out of the room the woman approached Shin Jiao and cupped her hands.

"I must go now, thank you for your help." after saying that the woman turn around and left.

Shin Jiao just shook his head, though he felt some regret for not being accompanied by a beauty anymore. But at least he met and helped one in a cool and rewarding manner. After receiving the money from the demon beast materials. Shin Jiao decided to leave and go back to the tavern as it was already night time.

On his way he noticed that someone is following, so he quickened his pace. But suddenly three shadows appear in front of him.

"You think you can escape? I told you 2 days ago that I belong to the Delamar clan and wanted that black stone. But you tricked me and escaped, I'll chop one of your hand for tricking this young master. Let me see you escape now."

Shin Jiao was stunned. How did this person know that he had the void stone? Did Manager Lee sold him out? He felt a little disappointed with the way the Green store does their business. Last time it was Mouyun Li now this young pompous lord.

The three shadows reveal themselves as they walked closer to him. Two men and a woman, all of them have their faces covered and wore dark blue assassin's clothes.

"I don't want to kill anyone today. So I suggest for you not to provoke me. The three of you are only at the gold core mid-stage. You cannot defeat me." Shin Jiao warned.

They looked at each other and started to laughed with a mocking tone.

"Ha ha ha! A lowly body refining stage cultivator thinks that he can defeat three gold core realm. You really are a plebeian not knowing the boundlessness of heaven and the earth."

Delver Delamar sneered as he look at his three henchmen. Signaling them to take Shin Jiao out.

Upon seeing this, Shin Jiao was about to move and take out his gun, but he felt that someone is watching them. If he kill these people in the open street, it may spell trouble for him again. So he decided to just subdue them.

As the three people simultaneously rushed to attack him. Shin Jiao just look at them with a serious expression. He can feel their killing intent towards him as they got closer. The three, like a well-practiced and precise movement, struck Shin Jiao with a sneer on their faces. But then the sneer on their faces quickly disappear as they discovered that what they had struck was only Shin Jiao's after image.

All of a sudden the tall man slump down to the ground and fainted. Behind him stood Shin Jiao with a calm look in his face. Seeing that their comrade was knocked down and the enemy is not using any weapon, the two was outraged. But then Shin Jiao suddenly disappeared once again and the other man fell down with a thud.

"I don't hit women, but if you provoke me I don't mind knocking you out too."

Shin Jiao said while his back was expose in front of the woman who now had a horrified look in her eyes.

"Kill him! You useless idiots!" shouted Delver Delamar.

The woman hesitate but gritted her teeth. She held her sword with both hand in front of her.

But before he could make her move, the sudden appearance of a group of people halted her steps. And in front of that group walks a familiar elderly man wearing a white robe.
