Kun Dong's mind is in disarray, because after the whole day of searching through the boxes of treasures left by Kung Shao they actually didn't find any maps. He is deliberating whether to tell them that Kung Shao is still alive. Upon analyzing his power he became amazed. His natural strength and defense can now rival that of a primary-stage infant soul forming cultivator. And his cultivation level also jumped to late-stage core forming realm, but because he didn't want to form his golden core yet, so his cultivation stayed at the core forming late-stage.

Shin Jiao decided at that time to test and stabilize his control on his cultivation. So, he ran like the wind and flew from tree to tree as he enters the middle part of the forest.

Just in case, while escaping he took out his old hunting weapon, the BARRETT. When he looked back he was astonished to see the Tyrant lizard ran like crazy chasing after him. Upon seeing this Shin Jiao decided to weaken it first and see if the BARRET can damage it. He drained a sphere of energy and merge it in the bullet and fire a shot.

Shin Jiao was dumbstruck of what happened next.

The gun barrel of the BARRETT turned hot red and a great force gave him a powerful recoil, which made him flew away like a cannonball towards a tree. Although the Tyrant lizard saw the silver light, it was too late as a bullet directly hit one of its legs. A gaping hole tore through it and the bullet came out of its tail. Although still alive, the demon beast was now immobilized.

Shin Jiao got out of the tree trunk and patted off the dirt and dust.

"This is… Too amazing! I can't believe a combination of natural and spiritual energy is this strong. Ha, ha! But how did I hit this demon beast? The recoil was far too powerful that my aim should be off."

Shin Jiao felt a little confused as he felt some strange power inside his mind.

Then an idea pops out from his mind and began to concentrate. With a thought, he suddenly can see everything inside his mind, it encompasses an area of 200 meters in radius. Everything in this area is visible to him, nothing can escape his mental vision. Although he could not see through any objects he can clearly see every single thing.

The bullet directly hit the fore-limb of the demon beast but didn't do any damage on it, not even a scratch can be seen. Shin Jiao emptied the magazine of the gun as he fires multiple shots in different angles. The bullets flew slowly when in a curve but really fast in a straight line. So, if he uses his spiritual sense he can only reach 200 meters in radius, but if he uses his advance marker skill, he can mark anything as long as he can see the spiritual aura of the person he will attach the marker to. This discovery made Shin Jiao truly ecstatic.

Now that he was satisfied he decided to stop playing with the level 6 beast and end its misery.

"Sorry for making you my target practice. He, he. Let me end your suffering now okay?"

Shin Jiao eyed the giant creature with an apologetic look.

He took out a black sword that gleamed as the light rays reflect on its blade. Then he slowly walks towards the Tyrant Lizard. The creature suddenly stopped moving as it bares its fangs looking at Shin Jiao with low growls. But seeing that the human seems to be not afraid of it a hint of fear can now be seen in its eyes.

"Wait! Wait! Human, please spare me!"

The Tyrant lizard suddenly burst out as it saw Shin Jiao prepares to attack.

Shin Jiao became dumbfounded and was stunned that the demon beast could talk. But he remembers that his teacher Nushia is also a level 6 demon beast.

When Shin Jiao was stunned a killing intent suddenly emanated from the demon beast, then with all its remaining strength, it jumped with its huge mouth gaped open with an objective to bite Shin Jiao. But before it could land a hit, half of its head was suddenly cleanly cut as it slid smoothly to one side, the ground was suddenly bathed in red and green blood.

Then he went back to rest, but not soon after he was about to close his eyes, the tree suddenly shook. As if being hit by a huge creature, so he looked down and to his amazement, he saw a small creature that looks like a pangolin with golden scales. The small pangolin is holding a strange crystal on its soft gray paws.

When Shin Jiao saw the crystal, his eyes had a glint of excitement in it. Because according to his memory that thing is a big size rare teleport crystal. And since its color is blue, it means it's the purest quality.
