Alex's PoV:
"Take this! Combination Magic- Sword Of Destruction!", Distere, Ferros and I shouted in unison.
Distere, Ferros, and I manipulated the destruction mana sword to attack it towards the water wyvern.
The destruction mana sword headed towards the water wyvern and was aiming towards the head.
The water wyvern wasn't able to dodge the destruction mana sword in time due to its huge body.
The water wyvern tried to block the destruction mana sword by releasing a high pressurized stream of water from its mouth and used its attack to intercept the destruction mana sword.
The water wyvern was low on mana because it consumed most of its mana from its previous attack.
Therefore, the water wyvern had a hard time blocking the destruction mana sword as it tried to maintain its attack.
As the water wyvern was trying its best to maintain its attack, a masochistic undying beast was eyeing for an opportunity to launch an attack against the water wyvern amidst the battle between Distere, Ferros, and I and the water wyvern.
While Distere, Ferros, and I were keeping the water wyvern at bay using our destruction mana sword attack, Satomi had his plans as he rushed towards the water wyvern while the water wyvern was defenseless due to blocking the attack of Ferros, Distere, and I.
Satomi left the wall which was made out of plants and trees that were created by Catherine and headed towards the water wyvern.
Satomi took a detour to avoid the slashing attack of Ferros, Distere, and I against the water wyvern.
Satomi clenched his fist, covered his fist using his mana, and directed it towards the water wyvern while advancing to the water wyvern.
After Satomi was only a few meters away from the water wyvern, he leaped into the air and aimed his fist at the water wyvern's head.
The water wyvern was left with no choice but to brace itself for the incoming attack of Satomi since it was still occupied in defending against the destruction of mana sword.
Satomi landed on the water wyvern's head using his fists which hit the water wyvern's head using his fists.
Satomi's attack only left a small abrasion on the water wyvern's scales but Satomi's attack caused an impact on the water wyvern's head.
The impact of Satomi's attack caused a slight vibration on the water wyvern's head which startled the water wyvern for only a second.
The second worth of distraction was enough to disrupt the water wyvern's attack for a while which caused the destruction mana sword to almost hit the water wyvern.
The destruction mana sword was only a meter apart from the water wyvern and it was slowly heading towards the water wyvern despite being hindered by the water wyvern's stream of water attack.
Ferros, Distere, and I kept on supplying more mana towards the destruction mana sword to improve its velocity.
Our action caused the destruction mana sword to slowly advance towards the water wyvern's head by a centimeter every second that passed by despite being hindered by the water wyvern's attack.
"I don't believe that I can't penetrate your scale! If my punch won't work, then take this!"
Satomi shouted while he was on top of the water wyvern's head.
Satomi channeled his mana towards his right hand and formed the mana in his right hand into a blade.
Satomi used the mana blade in his right hand to bravely cut off his left arm which resulted in his blood spurting out of his left arm.
Despite Satomi severing his left arm out of his body, he didn't wail in pain and was only apathetic as if it was normal for him to feel excruciating pain.
Satomi sharpened the bone in his left arm using the mana blade in his right hand and imbued his mana towards his severed left arm to reinforce it.
Satomi canceled the mana blade in his right hand and used his bare hand to pick up his severed left arm.
Satomi gripped his left arm and imbued his mana towards it which increased its sharpness and durability.
Satomi pointed the sharp tip of his left arm into the head of the water wyvern and used it to pierce its scales.
Satomi's attack left a dent on the water wyvern's scale so he supplied more mana into his left arm and applied more force which further penetrated the water wyvern's scale until it reached its skull.
The water wyvern's attack was interrupted due to the pain it felt from Satomi's attack that penetrated its scale and stabbed skull.
The destruction mana sword accelerated towards the opened mouth of the water wyvern since the water wyvern's attack wasn't hindering it from heading towards the water wyvern.
The destruction mana sword entered the water wyvern's mouth and smoothly pierced through the insides of the water wyvern.
The inner body of the water wyvern wasn't that hard which enable the destruction mana sword to penetrate and destroy it until the destruction mana sword came out of the water wyvern's anus.
The combined attack of Ferros, Distere, and I and with the help of Satomi's distraction was what caused the water wyvern to die.
The fresh corpse of the level 4000 water wyvern was now lying on the ground while Satomi was poking it using his index finger in his right hand.
"I confirmed and checked it thoroughly! That water wyvern is dead! No way it could survive a mana sword coated with destruction mana and not to mention it came out from its anus!"
Satomi shouted at us and he kicked the water wyvern's dead body and poke the water wyvern's eye to prove his claim.
The water wyvern was indeed dead since its eyes were wide open while its eyes were devoid of life and fresh blood oozed out from its mouth and anus.
After confirming the water wyvern's death, I signaled Catherine to bring grace with her and go near the water wyvern's fresh corpse.
The six of us surrounded the water wyvern's dead body while thoroughly inspected it.
"As Satomi had said before, the water wyvern is indeed dead. As for the water wyvern's remains... I don't know what to do about it not to mention the value of its corpse. I should have read some books about it because I'm a greenhorn when it comes to appraisal."
Ferros stated his claims while touching the fresh corpse of the water wyvern.
Ferros was right. I should have at least taken an hour or so worth of studying about this world's basic knowledge especially the essential knowledge of an adventurer.
The other heroes seemed to be clueless about determining the value of the water wyvern except for one hero.
Distere examined the dead body of the water wyvern with a serious look as if he was an appraisal master identifying the value of a mysterious object.
Distere was in the zone as he kept on moving around the water wyvern's dead body while looking and examining at every corner of the water wyvern's corpse with utmost concentration.
It was as if Distere could see through the insides of the water wyvern's corpse since he kept on squinting his eyes whenever he focused on viewing a part of the water wyvern's body.
Distere squatted and carefully inspected the corpse of the water wyvern while touching the corpse with his bare hand.
Distere stood up, rubbed his hand on his clothes, and spoke up to us.
"It seemed that the water wyvern's body has a lesser value compared before since some of its remains were damaged. Even the organs inside the corpse of the water wyvern were torn into pieces and its organ could have been sold to the alchemist who needed it for potion brewing."
Wait, organs? I guessed that my guess was right that Distere had some sort of skill that allowed him to see through the body of monsters or it might not only be limited to monsters.
Never mind, I shall not delve deeper into Distere's secret unless he wanted to reveal it himself.
Now what's important was to proceed in handling the water wyvern's body and why the hell was Axel not here?
Shouldn't Axel explain to us or congratulate us for defeating the level 4000 water wyvern while cooperating as a team?
Not to mention that Axel had promised us to obtain some rewards after we had defeated the level 4000 water wyvern.
"So how do we handle this corpse of the water wyvern? Should we sell it to some guilds or keep it instead for future usage such as cooking its meat?"
Ferros asked Distere while Satomi was using the head of the water wyvern as a punching bag.
"Satomi, stop it. A water wyvern's brain is rich in nutrients, mana and could boost the affinity for water magic. Causing vibrations and impacts on the water wyvern's head might damage the brain."
Distere reminded Satomi about taking care of the remains of the water wyvern and preventing its remains from receiving more damage.
"What do you want me to do with it then? Roast the water wyvern and eat it despite having its scales?"
Satomi bickered with Distere while the rest of us remained silent and waited for Distere's suggestion.
"Of course not. I'm planning on dismantling the water wyvern's body using my trusty kitchen knife!"
Distere replied to Satomi as he wielded his kitchen knife and imbued it with his mana.
