Chapter 145: The Dragon King Is In Possession Of My Body

Axel's PoV:

After a few minutes of searching, Axel 2 and I finally found the book the two of us were looking for.

The book was at least a hundred thousand pages thick so it would take a while before the two of us could find information about the high-level monsters.

The reason why Axel 2 and I couldn't find it despite the book's thickness was that the book returned to its huge size after Axel 2 opened it.

The dragon king was currently facing against the high-level monsters using my body.

I summoned a screen in the white space to watch the battle between the dragon king and the high-level monsters.

The dragon king had been assaulted with concentrated mana beams from level 78,000 tricorns.

The dragon king successfully dodged it by flapping his dragon wings on his back to propel himself towards the side to avoid the path of the concentrated mana beams.

The dragon king wasn't lying when he told me that most of his powers were sealed since he could easily dodge the attacks of the high-level monsters.

The level 78,000 tricorns was a white horse with three horns on its head.

It's almost similar to unicorns that I had read from fantasy novels and fairy tales but instead of having one horn, it has three which was pretty cool if it wasn't for the fact that it could release powerful beams from its horn.

Fortunately, it took the level 78,000 tricorns to release a concentrated mana beam from its triple horn for at least 10 seconds so the dragon king could use the delay time of the level 78,000 tricorns' attack to handle the other high-level monsters' attacks.

It was a good thing that most of the high-level monsters that the dragon king was facing couldn't fly.

I would have been screwed by the high-level monsters if all of the high-level monsters could fly.

Since the level 78,000 tricorns were still having a cooldown in their concentrated beam attack, the other monsters were now making a move.

The level 77,000 great forest spirit manipulated the trees in the surroundings to uproot them out of the ground and turn the uprooted trees into huge wooden spikes.

The level 77,000 great forest spirit then directed the huge wooden spikes towards the dragon king and it manipulated the wooden spikes to throw the huge wooden spikes at a fast speed towards the dragon king.

The dragon king easily dodged it despite the fast speed the huge wooden spikes headed towards him.

The dragon king used his battle instinct to aid him in dodging the huge wooden spikes that the level 77,000 great forest spirit continuously launched towards him.

Although the dragon king's performance in fighting got a bit rusty due to remaining dormant in his cave for thousands of years ago, it still didn't change the fact that the dragon king had piled up numerous fighting experiences before he had remained dormant for thousands of years ago.

The dragon king's fighting experience was at the same level as mine and if not, greater than mine.

After the dragon king dodged the huge wooden spike attack of the level 77,000 great forest spirit, the level 77,000 great forest spirit used nature magic to hasten the growth of the grasses on the ground and turn the grasses into the same sharpness and durability as a high-quality sword.

The grasses grew until it was tall enough to reach the dragon king and the level 77,000 great forest spirit manipulated the grasses to attack the dragon king.

The dragon king dodged the grasses by twisting his body in mid-air and using the [Flight] skill to instantly move his body.

Although the dragon king had dodged the blades of grass, the blades of grass bent towards the dragon king after missing the dragon king and pursuits the dragon king whenever the dragon king dodged the blades of grass successfully.

"Master, it seems that I am left with no choice but to use my dragonic fire to burn the attacks of the level 77,000 great forest spirit. I ask for master's approval to use master's mana."

The dragon king talked to me telepathically while he was still possessing my body.

"I approve you to use my mana but use it only when the high-level monsters' attacks are impossible to dodge."

I telepathically replied towards the dragon king while I was in the white space within my mind.

"I thank Master for granting me approval."

After the dragon king said that, he summoned dragonic flames from my body using my mana.

I had an affinity with dragonic magic so the dragon king could use almost any dragonic magic as long as it was compatible with my body.

The dragonic flames danced near the dragon king's arm and burned the grass attacks of the level 77,000 great forest spirit with elegance as it didn't leave any traces from the blades of grass including its ashes.

The dragon king was extremely compatible with dragonic magic which was much more unusual if he wasn't.

The dragon king could use the dragonic flames better than me even with me having an affinity towards dragonic magic.

After the dragon king burnt all of the blades of grass, the level 77,000 great forest spirit created another set of huge wooden spikes from the surrounding trees and used nature magic on the ground to create thorny vines.

While the level 77,000 great forest spirit kept on creating multiple huge wooden spikes, the level 78,000 tricorns generated a concentrated mana sphere on its three horns.

The level 78,000 tricorns were charging the triple mana spheres on their horns as the triple mana spheres kept on getting bigger.

The level 77,000 great forest spirit manipulated the thorny vines towards the dragon king with the intent of trapping the dragon king with the thorny vines.

The dragon king performed multiple slashes using his hand towards the thorny vines and it resulted in creating compressed air blades that headed towards the thorny vines.

The compressed air blades cut through the thorny vines and turned them into tiny pieces until nothing was left which eradicated all of the thorny vines.

The level 77,000 great forest spirit bombarded the huge wooden spikes towards the dragon king.

As the dragon king dodged the huge wooden spikes while destroying the huge wooden spikes that were impossible to dodge, the level 78,000 tricorns had already created triple mana spheres that were twice as huge as a wrecking ball on its horns.

The pressure and weight of the triple mana spheres due to their size and concentrated mana had even caused the level 78,000 tricorns pinned on the ground while causing a crack on the ground that later formed a huge crater.

The dragon king had successfully fended off the huge wooden spikes and all that was left was to dodge the upcoming attack of the level 78,000 tricorns.

The level 78,000 tricorns aimed the triple mana spheres towards the dragon king and released it.

This time, the level 78,000 tricorns didn't launch a triple concentrated mana beam attack but instead a triple concentrated mana sphere attack.

The triple mana spheres headed toward the dragon king at a moderate speed while two of the mana spheres orbited around one of the mana spheres.

"This is bad! It's going for an area of effect attack!"

After the dragon king muttered in a panic tone, he flapped the rainbow wings on his back and used the [Flight] skill to increase his flight speed.

The dragon king went away from the triple mana spheres and covered a few kilometers of distance away from the triple mana spheres.

The dragon king escaped from the range of the high-level monsters which caused the high-level monsters to follow him except for the level 78,000 tricorns.

Fortunately, the dragon king didn't escape towards the direction where my teammates were and the cave's location.

Although the high-level monsters followed the dragon king, the high-level monsters didn't attack him yet and were waiting for the triple mana sphere to explode.

The two mana spheres that orbited one of the mana spheres merged into the mana sphere that the two mana spheres had orbited.

After the three mana spheres merged into one, it caused a huge explosion that kept on covering a distance of a kilometer every second that passed by.

The dragon king and the high-level monsters except for the level 78,000 tricorns flew, ran, crawled, or whatever means of transportation they used just to escape the huge explosion caused by the triple mana spheres.

"The dragon king might not be able to stall time any longer after he survives this explosion since it is highly possible that the high-level monsters would start in eliminating the dragon king especially if the attack of the level 78,000 tricorns didn't harm the dragon king."

"The high-level monsters might go all out due to the rage it might cause them after their attacks kept on missing the dragon king."

"So hurry up and find all of the information about the high-level monsters in that hundreds of thousands paged book, Axel 2!"

I hurried Axel 2 while I was doing nothing except spectating the escape of the dragon king and the high-level monsters.
