75 CHAPTER 75: THE GREAT CEO’S WIFE IS A GANGSTER 3

The article is out. it's all over the news. Ethan's interview went live. Larry tried to suppress it but it quickly blew off like an epidemic. It's all over the internet as well. Seems like all hell breaks loose.

"This is not good. The bounty hunters must have seen the news!" Archie caresses the back of his head. He was pacing back and forth along the hall. Once again he tried to call Rio but to no avail.

"Damn you Rio! Will you stop playing the damsel in distress!" he screamed in his mind. Guess he needs to see what will happen next before doing anything. Let's just leave it to fate. He decided to enter the event hall.

By now the event started. Ethan gave his welcoming address but he can see doubts and questions in the faces of the people. They must have heard the commotion outside. After his welcoming address, the host took over the event. He came down the stage discreetly. He wants to show them that he is still in control. He walked back to his seat not minding his surroundings. He looks like a king on his stature right now but the aura that he is emitting is formidable. The visitor's gazed were fixed on him. they were observing him.

"Could the rumors be true about her wife?" ladies and gentlemen tried their best to minimize their voices.

"Where could she be right now?" Some are looking around the hall in hope to see the Great CEO's wife.

"Is she coming?" little chatters are everywhere.

"Seems like you are in a tight spot Mr. Williams." Said someone behind him. he faced the gentleman.

"Rico, it's you. Glad you made it." Ethan smiled reluctantly.

"Of course, I wouldn't miss this night of course."

"Thank you, man." Ethan grab Rico's shoulder then hug him in a manly manner. Rico is a loyal supporter, investor and a friend to the Williams. He was the son of Master Omni's late friend and business partner.

"So how are you doing?" he meant about his wife's issue.

"Nah, I'm fine. How about you? How's life oversee?"

"It's fun! You should somehow take a break and have a vacation with your family as well." Rico encouraged him.

"Maybe some other time." he shrugged.

"that's fine man." He tapped Ethan's shoulder. They were standing at the back where they can see almost all the people.

"Looks like your wife will be a celebrity first thing in the morning." Rico suddenly stated with his hands on his pocket. Ethan sighed.

"By the way, I can't see her everywhere!" he raised his brow line.

"She'll be here in a minute or maybe in an hour." Ethan seems not to care about the rumors.

"Would that be fine? The media folks are lurking everywhere. I doubt if she can even manage to enter the building."

"It'll be fine. We have our men outside." Ethan simply smiled.

The hall is almost full but looks like not everyone is enjoying. Dinner was already served in each table. The host called the chairman of the board at the pulpit to present the revenue of the company over the years. He needed to update the people inside the hall about the company's status, especially the profit. Good thing the company was doing good and that they've increased their profits over the years. The company also saturated Asia and now they are planning to saturate Europe. This should be a fair share for every investor. Then lastly, the chairman gave an encouraging speech to everyone which bestowed him a standing ovation from the people.

"Thank you everyone. Please make yourselves comfortable as we welcome our special guest for tonight! She will be serenading us with her very own composition., Let us please welcome Ms. Stacy Williams!" there was a drum roll when the host called the special guest. Some people clapped their hands but some were hesitating.

"Is it Stacy? The CEO's wife?" chitchats are heard everywhere.

Ethan shuddered after hearing Stacy's name. he slowly faced in front while the big curtain is being raised. He was rooted to where he was standing while his gazed were fixed at the woman in red, sitting while holding a saxophone.

"Since when did she came in? Why Shawn didn't call him?" he thought. He took his phone out and dialed Shawn's number.

"Ethan?" Shawn yelled on the other line. Ethan can hear noises in the background.

"Shawn, have you seen Stacy entered the hall?"

"Stacy? No! I haven't seen her yet. No one saw her not even the reporters."

"What?" Ethan creased his brow. He was tracing his jawline while deep thought. "So how did she came in?"

"Is there's a problem?" Shawn spoke when he felt Ethan's silence.

"No, no. It's just that my wife is already here." Shawn heard Ethan chuckled crazily over the phone.

"Did you say she's already inside the event hall?" Shawn clarified what he heard.

"Ehm, she's here. Anyway, just continue to control the crown out there." Ethan was looking at Aisha who just bowed before the people then raised the saxophone to her mouth, ready to play. What a sneaky woman.
