123 CHAPTER 123: FACE OFF

Liam called his son as soon as he heard Rio's threat. He won't let his son face Demetrius wrath just because of that old man's resentment towards Aisha.

"Rogue, don't ever lay a finger on Aisha. stop your grandfather no matter what!" Liam pronounced over the phone.

"Dad, what are you afraid off? whether grandpa kills that woman or not, aren't you happy? Isn't that what you want to?" Rogue was a bit distraught.

"Of course I do. But your uncle Rio knew that you attacked Aisha. you know the extent of what he can do right?"

"Is he more powerful than grandad?" Rogue was upset. "What are you afraid of?"

"He is more than your granddad, Rogue. So please son, save yourself and don't let your grandpa do anything stupid while you're with him. Even if you are his nephew, he won't forgive you just like that!"

"Okay I'll try to stop grandad. But I can't promise you that."

"You have to!" Liam averred. He can't afford to let his son be caught in this fight. Never!

Rogue annoyingly released a sigh. But he can't obstruct his grandfather just like that. His thirst for revenge is too deep for him to let go of Aisha just like that. Unless he loses his mind and forgive that woman. but it's too far from impossible.

"Is she still on your radar, Caleb?" Ethan inquired.

"No, she isn't. But Sophie might have her." Caleb countered.

"Yes I can see her, don't worry." Sophie queued.

"Don't lose sight of her Sophie. her safety is in your hands now." Ethan exhorted.

"I know. Don't worry." Sophie guaranteed.

Master Leon sat on his chair when he saw Aisha entered the room. Equipped gentlemen were on all sides watching over them.

"Give me a valid reason for me not to mistreat and kill you right now." Master Leon threatened.

"I came here not to fight but to settle whatever dispute we had in the past." Aisha spoke confidently.

"Oh, how naïve! I wonder how you'd do that?" Master Leon mocked her.

"Master Leon, I had tolerated all your threats in the past but incriminating the people around me was your biggest mistake."

"Looks like you have forgotten where you are right now Miss Mikasa. Or perhaps you don't value your life anymore. how bold of you to rudely speak to me like that."

"I know where I am Mr. Hayato! I haven't forgot about that. But I am standing shamelessly in front of you because I have things to tell you."

"If you think that I'll laidback on you because of your father then you're wrong! I am not afraid of anyone. I have all the right to kill you since you yourself came to my territory. Have you even considered that your mere presence can trigger a constant war between the mafia's all over the world? Have you considered your father's position when you decided to show up? I believe that your great father educated you about the Mafia rules, am I correct?"

"I don't even need my father's help to kill you with my own hands. But God knows I can never do that unless you give me reason to it."

"Just the way you killed my son and grandson?" the old man implied.

"I told you over and over that I didn't kill them and my statement will never change. I came here to tell you that." Aisha relayed.

"It's true that I was there the night they died but not because I caused their death. In fact, I tried to save them but I was a minute late. Your son was secretly leading the biggest drug operation in Japan. Not just that, they were also involved with human trafficking. The police officers caught them on the act that night because they accidently took my friend just so they could sell her and the other women to their foreign contacts. However, they never thought that one of the girls they took was a strong mafia woman. they were caught by the police but your son and grandson escaped. In short, your son killed his own life as well as your grandson. They didn't want you to find out about their shameful deeds that's why your son asked me to keep it from you." She explained in detail.

"Your grandson took his own life when the police were about to arrest him. I must have saved him but I was a minute late for trying to save your son." She continued.

"No! your lying! My son will never do that nasty job! he knew the rules!" master Leon was aggravated.

"Seems like you don't know your son very well." Aisha frowned. "If you want to blame someone for their deaths then you should blame yourself, old man. your high standard and high expectations towards them lead them to enter that kind of business."

"How dare you put the blame on me!" The old man stood up furiously but Aisha interrupt.

"But it's the truth! If you didn't pressure them into doing something beyond their limitation, then your son should have not involved himself with those thugs! You only thirst for power, fame and money during that time that you didn't even notice your son struggling to reach your standards!" Aisha howled.

"You shut up! You don't know what you are saying!"

"Didn't you threatened your own son that you will disown him if he didn't meet your expectations? You even told that to your own grandson, isn't it? Wasn't that the reason why you wanted to push through with the arrange marriage?"

"You!" the old man was beyond furious but he tried to control himself. "how did you know all that?" the old man cannot believe what he heard. How did this woman know it all?

"Your son revealed everything to me before he died." She scowled. "But I am not supposed to divulge all this information to you but you left me no choice."

Master Leon walked near the window and stared outside for a couple of minutes. Silence fell inside the room.

"But why are you telling me these now?" The old man calmed down.

"Because it was your son's last wish. He doesn't want to ruin your reputation. You should ask the sheriff department if you want to know everything. They will tell you the truth nothing but the truth."

"I definitely will." The old man faced her. "Don't ever think that I am withdrawing. Once I found out that you lied to me about this, be ready cause I will definitely chase you for the rest of my life!" he yakked determinedly.

"I don't think so." Aisha leered. She knows that the old man is tough, who's not used to admitting his mistakes.

"Escort her out." The old man commanded.

But before Aisha excited the room, she faced the old man once again.

"By the way, we could still be friends in the future." She sneered then she left. Along the hall, she met Rogue.

"Seems like your very lucky today, huh." He was leaning on the wall beside the staircase.

"It's not a matter of being lucky, it's all about knowing the whole truth." Aisha expressed triumphantly.

"I was afraid my dad would yell at me for not stopping grandad to torture you. but it's good to know that your still alive." He mocked.

"I'll just thank uncle Liam for his concern later." Aisha growled then she passes though him.

Ethan and the others saw her victorious smile when she finally came out. seems like the problem with the Hayato was solved without any complication. One down! but there's more to go.

"Aisha wait!" Aisha halted when she heard Master Leon. Rogue was with him as well. Ethan and the others positioned themselves, all ready to shoot anytime.

"Is there any problem?" Aisha became cautious.

"It's about the bomb explosion." Rogue earnestly uttered.

"If you're going to apologize then you should speak with Ethan." She was a bit upset.

"Why should I apologize for something I didn't do?" The old man stated. Aisha raised a brow as well as the others who heard him.

"Did you mean you didn't do it? The bomb explosion was not a part of your plan?" Aisha wanted to know the truth.

"No! I am accountable for the men sent at your friend's house, I must admit that. but setting a bomb was not a part of our code."

"You mean---'' Aisha gawked. So if it's not the Hayato then that means they have another enemy! But who are they? And who is their main target, is it Ethan or her? Aisha felt perturbed all of a sudden. Why is she feeling disturbed? Why does she feel like their next enemy is much treacherous? Whoever they are, it's clear that they are not afraid to take lives!

She shuddered.
