Kian took large strides towards his old man's room when he heard about what he did to Ethan. He was not aware about his plans. Does that mean he don't trust him at all? he was upset.
He found the man sitting victoriously at his office with a glass of wine in his hands. He was talking to some of his subordinates.
"Flynn!" Kian irately walked towards him not minding the men looking at him.
"Kian!" he greeted the young man.
"What was that, huh? Why didn't you notify me about your plan?"
"I'm sorry I forgot to tell you. But that was just a declaration of war." The man chuckled.
"Are you sure your plan was spotless? You could have ruin everything!"
"But I didn't! they will never discover that it was me, that's for sure."
"But Flynn!"
"It's just the beginning. The worst is yet to come." Flynn interrupted.
"But a lot of people were injured! Was that a part of your plan?"
"It can't be help, Kian! In a war, there are lives needed to be sacrificed in order to win. Always remember that!"
"But they are innocent!" Kian growled. "You can declare war in different ways but to harm other people, that's foul!"
"It's necessary, Kian! You've been there than that so you should know." Flynn emphasized. "Don't you want to get even at those people who've hurt you?"
"To them, yes. But not to the point where I involve other people." Kian flared in anger.
The man stood up. "Kian, if you don't want to do it my way, then do it your way." He challenged the young man.
Kian dejectedly sighed. Truth is, he doesn't resent Ethan that much. He doesn't have much grudge in his heart to harm Ethan. Flynn took him in when he was young. It is a debt of gratitude that he wants to take part on Flynn's revenge.
Flynn's daughter was Ethan's secretary before Dorothy. But she fell in love with him. she did everything so she could get Ethan but the mere presence of Angel before was already a threat for her. Ethan made clear of his intention but Flynn's daughter was delusional. She even tried to drug Ethan but failed.
When Ethan married Stacy, Ethan didn't know the reason why she suddenly disappeared. So Ethan hired a new secretary and that was Dorothy.
Unknown to Ethan, Flynn's daughter committed suicide. The heartbreak was too much for her to take in. but before she died, she left a letter to her dad. Since that day, Flynn cursed Ethan and promised to take revenge for his daughter's death.
Kian looked at the old man then he exhaled. "Then just do it your way. But don't ever forget that I warned you about this." Then Kian exited the room.
Those people with Flynn, Kian is sure that they are part of the board of members at Saphiro Gentz company. Those people must be one of those who wants to overthrow Ethan.
***Aisha is in daze while driving away from Hayato's mansion. Master Leon's words struck her like bolt of lightning. The bomb explosion at the Hospital was not the Hayato's works. According to Master Leon and Rogue, they are responsible for the people sent at Hunter's place. Apart from that, nothing else.
She hastily pulled the brakes. She almost hit another car! She exhaled a relief before she got off the car and stride towards the other car.
"I'm very sorry! I'm at lost---'' Aisha was about to bend over when she caught sight of the driver. She made a face.
"Apology accepted!" The man smirked sardonically.
"Caleb?" her eyes glint murderously.
"Sorry about that Aisha. I tried to stop him." Sophie got off the passenger seat. "So why are you looking bemused? Is it about what that old man said?"
Aisha nodded as she leans on her car with hands cross over her chest. She was obviously not done thinking yet. Sophie followed.
"Who could do such a thing like that? it looks like that person isn't human. Whoever he is, his daring!" Aisha yelped.
"They can't possibly be the bounty hunters. That act isn't a part of their codes." Caleb inserted.
"Definitely not. Whoever planned the explosion must have deep grudge either to you or to Ethan." Sophie added.
Aisha jerked. "By the way, where's Ethan and Shawn's team?"
"They should be on their way." Sophie tapped her shoulder.
"go back at Hunter's house and make sure everyone is okay. I need to go somewhere." Aisha rushed to the car and drove off immediately without letting any of the two speak.
"Aisha wait!" where are you going?" Sophie shouted. She sighed.
"Just get in. she'll be back soon." Caleb encouraged.
Lisa has been patiently waiting inside the shop. After an hour, she saw Caleb's car at the garage. She went out to meet them.
"Sophie, Caleb!"
"Lisa! Good to see you again." Caleb kissed her forehead.
"Where are the others?" She asked.
"They're on their way." Sophie interjected.
"Oh okay. Get inside, I prepared some refreshments for you all." Lisa was filled with joy.
"Thanks Lisa. But I need to go somewhere." Sophie reasoned. "Just tell the others that I have an appointment today."
"You sure you have an appointment today?" A voice asserted from behind. Sophie doesn't need to turn around to know who spoke.
"Hunter!" Caleb cried.
"Hey!" They did their usual fist bomb greeting. "Too bad we're unable to use our skills today." Hunter joked then he chuckled.
"It must have been your obsession instigating war to anyone." Sophie cynically mumbled but everyone was able to hear her. "That thirst for blood can't be quenched easily. You should treat that as soon as possible." Sophie stated before walking away from them. Hunter's gazed locked on her.
"Hey where are you going?" Caleb cried.
"None of your business." No one knows why Sophie suddenly acted that way but Hunter does. Sophie was about to enter her car when they heard a screeching of a car.
"Ethan?" They bellowed.
"Is Aisha here?"
"None yet. But she said that she's going somewhere. Is there's a problem?" Caleb was puzzled.
"I can't reach her phone." Ethan was anxious.
"I think I know." Sophie called out. everyone looked at her direction.
Meanwhile, At the Gray Residence, a pale young woman was lying serenely on a bed with a woman watching over her.
The young woman was drenched in sweat while the woman was busily wiping her with a clean linen.
"Momma! Momma! Please don't leave! Momma!" the young woman whispered. Seems like she's having a nightmare.
"Shhhh… it's okay. No one's leaving you." Sherry held her right hand then after a few minutes, the young woman calmed down. A slight curve was painted on her face.
"Miss Sherry." One of the maids knocked on the door. "Mr. Silver is looking for you."
"I'll be there in a minute." Sherry shouted. As soon as she heard the maid's retreating footsteps, she went back to staring the young woman's innocent face.
When Sherry saw Stacy earlier, she looks like a fine but rude woman. But when she looks at her right now, she can see nothing but a fragile sick young lady who needed a mother's care. Her heart yanked precipitously.
She smiled. If her daughter Emily is alive, perhaps, she's the same age as Stacy. Sherry was about to stand up but Stacy held her hand.
"Mom, please don't leave. Emily is sick and Erika is crying. Momma." She's sleep-talking but Sherry was rooted to where she was standing.
Wait, did she hear her right? Did she say Emily?! She shuddered with eyes open wide in disbelief. It can't be! This woman can't be----!
"Sherry?!" Silver hollered after opening the door. Sherry slowly looked at him with suspicions and with an accusing eyes. Silver knitted a brow.
"Sherry, are you okay?" Silver walked to her.
"Silver, are you certain that my Emily is dead?" Sherry summoned mournfully. Silver jerked. Then he followed Sherry's gaze. she was looking at Stacy hopefully.
Silver's eyes expanded. Wait! Did she possibly remember something? no! It can't be!
