126 CHAPTER 126: A MOTHER’S LOVE 2

"I'm begging you." Silver pleaded Stacy. "Please help my wife recover from her trauma."

"But Uncle Silver I can't do that. I can't stay here for a long time. I need to see my sister as soon as possible. she's in danger." Stacy stated. It was after their breakfast that Silver asked to talk to Stacy privately.

Silver asked her if she can stay with Sherry for a couple of days. It'll be good for Sherry to recuperate from the pain of knowing about her dead daughter. Silver also told her the same story he relayed to Sherry so there would be clarity and unity on his story.

"Everyone was saying that she's dead, but Johnny said that she's not." She continued.

"What did you say? Your sister isn't dead?" Stacy didn't see the darkness on Silver's face.

"She's not. She contacted Johnny before to stop me from coming back."

"Are you certain about that?"

"Yes I am. And I think the Williams are hiding her." She clenched her fist. "I need to see Ethan as soon as possible."

"Are you stupid?" Silver yelled. "If you're going to show yourself to the Williams, do you think they'll go easy on you for deceiving them? You'll put your sister's life in danger even more!"

"But----''

"You can't show yourself, not to the Williams nor to your sister. At least not now for the time being."

"But uncle…"

"Leave this all to me. I'll do whatever I can to get your sister back. Also, you can't show yourself to the public either. Your life will be in danger. So for the meantime, stay here with Sherry, okay."

"But daddy Robert won't agree with this."

"I will talk to him about this." Silver assured her. "I promise to save your sister. I will bring her back to you." he gave out an assuring smile.

"Just please, accompany Sherry for now. She needs you. please help her."

"But you said she already met my sister before. Wouldn't it be a problem?" Stacy hesitated.

"Don't worry. I already told her about your sister. She understood."

"Oh okay." Stacy sighed in defeat. After their agreement, Silver left her standing in the balcony.

She decided to come back to Oregon despites the fleeting life that she has just to see her sister but now that she's back, things were more complicated for her. all she wanted is to see her sister before she fades away on this world but she never expected that she'll have to stay beside a woman whom she never knew. Maybe this idea isn't that bad at all. Besides, Silver is the only one who could help her locate her sister and is capable of facing the Williams.

"Erika, just so you wait. We'll see each other soon." Stacy whispered with her eyes closed.

"Who are you thinking?" she heard a mannish voiced behind.

"Johnny!" she smiled at him.

"I am thinking about my sister, Erika. I can feel it in my heart that we will meet sooner or later." Her lips curved into a thin smile.

"You will, I guarantee that." he surrounds the woman with his arms.

"Johnny, I need to stay here for the meantime. I'm afraid I can't meander around the city in broad daylight. I can't be with you for the time being." Her voice is full of sadness.

"I understand. Silver told me about everything. Don't worry, I'll make sure to visit you here as often as I could."

"I'll be expecting you then." She pinched the man's cheek lightly. "So what's your plan now?"

"Ehm, I will return at Saphiro Gentz company. I might be able to monitor Ethan. Monitoring him would lead us to your sister Aisha. I'll find a way to talk to her."

"But please be careful. Ethan knew about your identity, isn't it?" She was worried.

"Don't worry, he can't lay his finger on me." He smiled with assurance.

"I trust you." Stacy pecked his lips.

"I will." He kissed her back. "I have to go now. I love you." he released the woman and took large strides towards the door.

"I love you more." Stacy whispered while looking at his retreating figure.

Stacy remained in the balcony and made sure to see Johnny's car driving away from the mansion. After a few minutes, she saw Sherry bidding goodbye to Silver then the car drove off. She caught Sherry looked up to where she is, she smiled reluctantly. To her surprise, the woman gave her a loving smile.

She jolted. Wait! that smile, it's kind of familiar. Her heart was beating fast as if it remembered something but her brain is having a hard time coping up. She didn't notice that she was lost with her own thoughts.

"Stacy, are you okay?" Sherry came to her side. Stacy was unresponsive.

"Stacy?" Sherry tried to shake her. She jerked.

"Eh?"

"I'm sorry. You spaced out." Sherry apologized. "Did I disturb you?"

"Oh no. I was just thinking about something." she smiled.

"Oh I see. By the way Silver told me that you'll be staying here for the time being so I asked the maids to prepare your room upstairs.I hope you'll like it."

"You don't have to do that Miss Sherry."

"Please call me Sherry from now on. no need for formalities." She caressed her hair and it makes her feels awkward. She forced a smile.

"Do you want to do something today? I heard that you just came abroad yesterday."

"I would like to go somewhere peaceful but Silver told me not to rove around the city in broad daylight."

"Tell me where do you want to go?"

"But Miss Sherry…"

"It's okay. come on. Give me a specific place."

"But it's kinda childish." She smiled shyly. "I actually want to go to the park."

"That's perfect! I've been wanting to visit the park lately as well. Don't worry, I know a good place." Sherry beams.

"Really?" she jumps like a child.

After a while, Stacy saw Sherry holding a hamper walking towards the car. Sherry shove it at the back seat.

"Miss Sherry, what's that?" Stacy was curious.

"I'm sorry for waiting. I just prepared a handful snacks for us." She grinned.

"Are we going for a picnic?" Stacy jokingly uttered.

"Yes, we will!"

"I thought it was a joke!" Stacy laughed hilariously.

"I've been wanting to do this for a long time. If my daughter is still alive then I should have done this a long time ago." She was saddened.

"I'm sorry about your daughter."

"It's okay. I'm fine. Besides, I have you right now." she beamed

"Your daughter must have been very lucky if she's alive." Stacy hints a bit of envy.

"I'm sure your mom would do the same if she's still alive." Sherry caressed her back.

Stacy looked at the woman who was caressing her back. Her eyes are full of a motherly love. Never in her life did she felt this way. Seems like being with this woman is not bad at all. she's showering her with some kind of affection that she never had before and she likes it. Maybe this woman was giving all the love that she's supposed to give to her dead daughter. Then if that's the case, Stacy can do the same to her as well. She smiled lovingly at the woman.

"Have you found them?" The man seriously asked the man on the other line.

"I'm sorry sir, But I still don't have any information about their whereabouts." The other man replied.

"Have you considered looking outside the North? Maybe at the Southern or Western State perhaps?"

"I have men searching for them in the West State. I'll let you know once there will be an update."

"Okay, please do." then he hung up the phone. He sighed. Sadness filled his eyes. his been searching for his family a long time ago but to no avail.

"Caleb? is everything okay?" Lisa came to his side. He was standing on the balcony with a knitted brow early in the morning.

"Lisa, good morning!" he pecked her lips.

"Morning too." She handed him a cup of coffee. "Is everything okay?"

"Of course!" Caleb masked his sadness with a smile. "How could I not be okay when I have a beautiful woman beside me." He talked sweetly.

Lisa smiled charmingly. "I love you too." She whispered.
