137 CHAPTER 137: HIS SPAWN

"I'm sorry to bother you this early. I just need someone to watch over Eli and Sahaya for a couple of hours." Aisha spoke apologetically after opening the door for Sophie.

"That's okay with me, anyway I'm free." Sophie chuckled.

"Thank you so much Sophie!" Aisha hugged her tight.

"Hey! I can't barely breath, woman!" she yelp. "Why do you have the strength of a man?!" she joked.

Aisha chuckled in response.

"By the way, where are you going?" Sophie asked in curiosity.

"I just need to see someone. He might know where my sister is right now."

"Okay. Make sure to stay safe. Call me if you need any help." Sophie voiced seriously.

"Hey! Why are you so serious? I'm not going in a war!" she laughed hilariously.

They were walking towards Eli's playroom when they heard some laughter coming from the inside.

"Do they really need me?" Sophie joked.

"Of course they do, ha-ha!" She chuckled.

She knocked lightly as soon as they reached the door then she opened it slowly.

"Mom! Come on join us." Eli run towards his mother but he halted when he saw Sophie. "Aunt Sophie!" he embraced her.

"Are you really that happy to see me?" she knelt to meet his eyes.

"Ehm!" he nodded showing his cute dimples.

"Aww, your so cute." She pinched his cheeks. "Give aunt a kiss then."

Eli gave her a kiss in the cheek. After a while, Sophie peered through him when she saw a cute young girl behind Eli. she paused. Eli was able to catch her eyes so he pulled Sahaya beside him.

"Aunt Sophie, this is my friend, Sahaya. Sahaya, meet my aunt Sophie, mom's best friend." Eli introduced the two to each other.

"Hi Miss Sophie. My name is Sahaya. I'm happy to meet you." she smiled sheepishly.

However, Sophie never bat an eyelid. Her eyes were focused on the little girl in front of her. she was simply amazed.

Her eyes, it was quite round with long lashes. Her thick brow accentuates her eyes. she looks like someone wearing a mascara with an eyeliner. Though her nose isn't that long but her thin pinkish small lips added more beauty in her small face.

Aisha was right, she looks like her brother Caleb. But if someone sees Sophie and Sahaya together, they will surely think that Sahaya is her daughter. They somehow had the same eyes.

"Aunt Sophie, why are you staring at me? did I make you mad?" Sahaya asked openly.

"No! no… I'm not mad. I'm just mesmerized with your beauty, sweetheart." She smiled.

"I always hear that though, but thank you aunty." She uttered innocently.

Sophie raised her brow. Eh? It's not just the physical appearance but Sahaya and Caleb also have the same attitude. Sophie raised her lip in awe. If only she met this child in North State, she might think that the young lady was Caleb's spawn.

Aisha chuckled when she looked at Sophie's reaction. Not to brag but Aisha had already imagined this kind of scenario.

"By the way, Aunt Sophie will watch over you for a couple of hours since I need to visit someone today. so you better behave, okay?" she faced Eli and Sahaya.

"Okay mom." Eli answered as he kissed her mother goodbye.

"Bye Aunt Aisha." Sahaya uttered while waving her hand cheerfully.

Aisha left Sophie and the two children at the playroom. Sophie can handle those kids for sure so she doesn't have to worry. As for her, she needs to start searching for her sister. first step would be to asked Robert Hertiz, Stacy's foster father.

After taking a shower, Aisha wore her usual outfit; white shirt and black jeans. She also wore a cap and sunglass to somehow hide herself from some paparazzi. Then she took Ethan's car and drove to the Hertiz residence.

After a few minutes, she reached the Hertiz residence but to her dismay, the gatekeepers said that Robert flew to Japan since yesterday and they don't have any idea when he will return. Aisha dejectedly left the mansion and drove off around the city.

She's been driving all over the city without any destination. The truth is, she doesn't know where to go. her thoughts were in disarray right now and she needs a quiet place to think.

Then she met a dead-end when she reaches the top of the hill. She herself doesn't know how she found that place but it was an elevated hillside wherein you can see the whole city. She got off the car and sat on the grass while looking at the vast horizon.

"So this is how the city of Central State looks like." She mumbles. She can feel the cool breeze touching her face while her hair dances with the wind.

All she can hear are the singing birds and the wind blowing gently. Then she laid down on the grass and looked at the clear blue sky. After a few seconds, she closed her eyes and reminisce her childhood life.

It's a bit blur but at least she can remember some laughter that she and her twin sister shared while playing with their mom. They were so innocent back then not minding about what's happening on their surroundings.

"Mom, I miss you. I miss playing with Emily too." She was staring at the sky. "Mom, did you know that Emily is called Stacy now while me, I change my name into Aisha. If only you didn't die, then maybe we are still together. Things might not be as messy as now." Aisha sighed.

"But somehow, I was able to find some beautiful gems in this disastrous world. That's why I'm still grateful, mom." She smiled at the thought of the people around her.

"And this might be silly but I also want you to meet the man who has taken care of me. I think he was a year older than you but he is kind, cool and a good looking man. I really think that you'll love him." she giggled naughtily.

"Ah yeah, I still don't know where your grave is but I'll make sure to find you mom, so me and Stacy will visit you soon." After some more minutes, she stood up.

She needs to go home before Ethan makes a scene again about her absence. She might not be able to meet Robert for now but she won't easily give up.

***

Johnny was able to go back at the Saphiro Gentz Empire by bribing his old manager. He doesn't need to pay money because they were old friends. however, he found out that no one had ever seen Ethan's wife for how many weeks now since the shooting incident at the studio. His friend also told him about the news of her death, although it was not certain since the Williams hadn't confirmed it yet.

So much had taken place for the past few months that he didn't know. But Johnny was sure that he was able to talk to Aisha either before or after that incident. Maybe that's the reason why he can't contact Aisha up until now.

However, Johnny is certain that Aisha is alive so he decided to write a letter and sent someone to give it to her secretary silently. He was hoping that it will somehow reach Aisha. Cross-finger!
