262 CHAPTER 262: FAMILY DAY

She's done preparing everything!

It's almost 2am when Alex finished preparing the stuffs that they will be bringing tomorrow for the family day.

Last monday night, Mira gave the note to her mother. It was a note about their family day to be held at their school. However, comes thursday, another note was given telling them that it will be a family camping somewhere at Mount Moriah. The place was known to be a safe place for family outing but Alex was a bit surprise about the sudden changes.

The school don't usually changes venues instantly. Relocating the event does not only mean having enough budget but it also needs the parent officers' permission. Although the kid's parents can afford spending more money for their children, but the changes is quite on the dot.

She doesn't know what happened since the teacher didn't tell her anything. She only notified her about the changes, that's it.

Family camping? She was actually hesitating to join the event but Mira had been convincing her each and everyday. However, Alex doesn't want her to feel unease by looking at children with their fathers so she was considering calling Clement to join them.

'' Mom... it's okay if we will go tomorrow without daddy Clement.'' She smiled.

'' I won't be sad even if I see my classmates with their fathers as long as we will go together.''

After making sure that the things they needed for the camping was all prepared, the hotel staffs bid their farewell to Ethan who was busy choosing what outfit to bring.

'' grandpa, I'm sorry. I still need to do something here. Don't worry I'll tell you everything as soon as i come back.'' Then he hung up. He had enough of his grandpa's scolding so might as well surprise him soon.

Almost all the parents have already gathered at the meeting place. They have to make sure that all the children and their parents were all complete before heading to their venue. But aren't they complete already? Or perhaps, they're waiting for a special guess?

After a few minutes, the door to the car opened then a hot guy slowly came out. He was wearing black shades that accentuates his long nose and playful plump kissable lips. Ah! And those great biceps and the tone chest with the stomach packed with rounded abs... ah, they could see through his plain white fitted shirt. all the women presents wanted to ravish the seemingly young bachelor but was trying to hold their thoughts since they were with their respective husbands.

'' Who is he?'' Murmurs started to spread everywhere. Alex, who was busy checking their bag averted her gaze to the person who had just arrived. Suddenly, her eyes widened and her jaw dropped in shocked.

'' Daddy!'' Everyone heard a tiny little girl shouted and run towards the man.

''Daddy?'' Everyone raised their browline when they saw Mira dash towards the man. The man picked her up and carried her with a smile.

Alex was more than shocked especially when she heard her daughter shouted ''daddy.'' What is happening? Why does she feels like this was planned in advanced. And when and how did they ended up becoming a father and a daughter duo? A lot of questions were running in her mind. But like her, almost all the parents and even the teacher were staring at her suspiciously.

'' Mr. Ethan, thanks for coming.'' The teacher greeted the man then finally faced the children with their parents who are still in daze. '' We're all complete now. we may now go to our designated place. Then she led the way. Some of the parents followed the teacher but some were stil staring at the man then to Alex.

As far as they know, the woman was a single mother and the child was just a product of the woman's coquettishnes. Then who is this guy? Maybe someone who she was trying to flirt too. Some parents didn't believe that the man was the child's father.

Ethan slowly walk towards the stunned woman with a smile on his face, while carrying the little girl.

'' calm down, hun. I'll explain everything later.'' He whispered then he grab the woman's hand and interlock their fingers. The woman jerked as soon as she felt the electric bolt coursing through her body. Dang! She's speechless.

'' let's go.'' The man smiled and pull the woman close to her and started walking side-by-side.

'' wait.'' She suddenly halted. '' I forgot the bags.'' She was about to turn back but Ethan stopped her.

'' Don't worry, max is here.'' He smiled and looked back. Alex spun around to see a young man carrying a lot of bags. Wait, are those Ethan's stuffs?

'' Are those things yours?'' She raised her brow. The man only chuckled and continued walking. As for Alex, she looked at the young man apologetically.

As soon as they reached the place, the other's started setting up their tents. therefore, Ethan ordered max to bring out their tent as well. Alex was perplexed. No one told her about bringing a tent! Why isn't she informed? Now, she started thinking suspiciously, so she went to see the teacher leaving Mira with Ethan and Max.

'' Why didn't you inform me about the things we need to bring?'' She yelped. '' do you really hate me that much?''
