261 CHAPTER 261: NOT A NUISANCE

Her eyes widened and her jaw dropped at the scene in front of her.

Alex was rushing to go back to the office thinking that her daughter must have been bored doing nothing. She's been out for thirty minutes and it's about lunchtime now so Mira is probaby hungry and sleepy.

However, she had never thought of seeing a chaotic office. There were toys everywhere and coloring books and what not!

Mira! She exclaimed thinking that her daughter caused the mess alone.

However, as soon as she advances at the living room, she heard a crisp laugh from a tiny little girl and man who seems to be playing together.

She held her breath at the scene she saw. The room was very messy but the two were having a good time shooting each other using a plastic shooting arrow toy gun. And to her surprise, she's been standing in front of them for a minute or so but they didn't even notice her!

''Mom, come here! Join us!'' Mira yelled as she backs away from the man chasing her.

'' huh?!'' She exclaimed. She wanted to say something but she was caught off guard when Mira run towards her and Ethan was chasing her. Then the man started shooting her too.

'' hey!'' She yelped. Did Mira used her as a shield? Oh no, bad little kid.

Ethan was still laughing when Alex thought of an idea. She just saw something on the couch therefore she whispered something on the child's ear. Too bad, Ethan couldn't hear it.

Now his advancing towards them and Alex seems to have read his thoughts so she motioned Mira to escape. The little girl was able to run towards the door but then Ethan caught the woman.

She raised her water toy gun and started shooting water on the two people who appears to be hugging each other. She was laughing heartily as she watch them get soaked with water together. They look like a real couple and she likes it.

Now, both Ethan and Alex are soaking wet, from head to toe. Dang! But Ethan's hand are still on her waist. They were facing each other, face almost colliding, chest almost touching... eyes filled with burning desires... Ethan could fill his body temperature rising. As for Alex, she gulped at the thought of wanting to taste those rosy lips...again.

'' sure,not a problem.'' He smiled. Then the young girl stood up gracefully and walk towards the bathroom. But before she totally left them, she spun around and sized up the two.

'' are you going to eat with your clothes wet?'' She raised her brow, then went on her way.

Ethan and Alex both looked at themselves, ah yeah, how could they forget about it. Ethan stood up and was about to head in his room when he halted.

'' Want to use a robe while we dry your clothes first?'' He suggested.

'' yes please...'' she faked a smile. Ethan was waiting for her to catch up but the woman isn't moving at all. But their eyes were communicating silently.

The woman was hesitating but Ethan rolled his eyes; he then walked towards her and grab her hand and pulled her inside his room.

It was kinda wide. His room is even bigger and wider than her apartment. It was neatly clean. Ah, as expected from a CEO, she thought.

After a few minutes, Ethan came out from another room holding a white robe then hand it to her.

'' the shower room is on that side.'' He pointed out a door on the left side.

'' thank you.'' She muttered before walking.

Ethan had already wore his robe and was about to go out when he suddeny heard the woman screamed. He panicked!

'' Alex?!'' He instantly dash to the shower room and opened the door immediately. And to his surprise, the woman was lying on the floor with just her undergarments. Looks like she tripped.

'' are you okay? What happen to you?'' He was about to stoop down to help the woman but she yelped.

'' ouch!'' The woman pulled her left foot when she felt a sudden pain.

'' How did you fall? I don't think it was my shower room though.''

Alex averted her eyes in shame. It was actually her carelessness that cause her fall.

'' I'm sorry.'' She voiced. The man doesn't even know why she's sorry.

'' Sorry about my daughter. Sorry for troubling you. Don't worry, I won't bring her here anymore... also, the toys, I'll just pay them one at a time...''

'' did I ever tell you to pay all those stuffs?'' He irritatingly stood up. '' Alex, I'm not asking you to pay for it cause I did it out of my heart. And please don't be sorry for bringing her here. And i appreciate it more if you allow her to come here everyday.''

'' Cause I want to play more often to my new found friend.'' He smiled. '' dont worry, she's not a nuisance. In fact, I like her.''
