272 CHAPTER 272: UNEXPECTED VISITOR 2

The woman was sweating profoundly. She seemed nervous knowing that the old man had caught them in an unexpectedly wrong timing! He might doubt her and possibly think bleak against her.

As far as she knows, grandpa's were a real deal when it comes to wealthy people. What if he comes in between them? What if he doesn't like her for his grandson? What if... She has a lot of questions running in her mind right now. Ah! Her thinking seemingly was affected by all the dramas she's been watching the past few days.

Calm down Alex..calm down... She was trying to relax herself. It was her mind that went frantically anxious. But her body... Her heart... They're unbelievingly relaxed! Does she have two personalities within her? Seems like something within her recognized the old man.

"G-grandpa? What are you doing here?!" Ethan nervously asked?

"Is that how you greets your grandpa? Aren't you going to invite me in?" He raised his brow but his eyes had never left the woman. Is he examining her? Seems like that.

"You got me in a wrong time, old man. Should I call the head manager to fix your room?" He joked.

However, his grandfather didn't even bat an eyelid. Looks like he went too far on his joke.

"I'm sorry! Please excuse me." Then the woman dash outside without further looking at the man and the old man.

The old man's eyes followed the jittery woman who strides outside as fast as she could. And as soon as the woman is out of view, he glared at Ethan skeptically. Though his eyes doesn't have a trace of shock.

"I know grandpa... Let me explain everything." He was walking inside the living room . the old man followed.

"You better start now." He grimaced.

"Don't you want to have breakfast first?" He grinned. "I bet your tired and starving due to your flight."

"Ethan!how long will you keep doing this things? And for how long are you planning to hide her from everyone?" The old man glowered.

"Grandpa, she doesn't remember anything from her past." Ethan sighed. "She lost all her memories and I am trying to help her out in ways I think is beneficial to her."

"And is it effective?" He sarcastically asked.

"M-maybe....I think."

"Then if your efforts doesn't help improve her condition then why don't you arrange a meet-up with her real family instead? Who knows it might be the only way."

Ethan was in deep thought when the old man continued to inquired.

"And how about my grandchild?" Master Omni voiced. He was actually asking about Miracle!

Ethan suddenly snapped back to reality upon hearing the old man. How did he knew?! His dumbfounded face flushed right in front of the old man.

Thinking about it, his old man was not even surprise when he saw the woman earlier. If he correctly remembered, the old man only stared at her as if he was examining of she is a real one.

"Grandpa, how did you know about her daughter?" He inquired suspiciously. "Did you assigned someone to tail me...again?" He was about to get upset but the old man interrupted.

"I asked Max." He nonchalantly replied.

Ethan raised his brow and was about to pick up his phone to call the man but master Omni stopped him.

"Don't blame the man since I ordered him to do so... I just wanted to have an answer to my qualms." The old man defended max. "Ethan, I'm sorry but you left me with no choice."

Ethan sighed. So that was the reason, huh. that filthy young man! He scoffed.

"Next week is your birthday and the Mikasa family will surely attend. What are your plans?" The old man probed?

"I'm not sure though. But there's no way I could come back in the central city for now."

Master Omni seemingly understood his resolved therefore, he lightly sighed.

"Ethan, I may understand your reason, but I hope you don't forget that you have a son out there, eagerly waiting for your return."

"I didn't forget about him grandpa. In fact... I was thinking... If, he could meet the woman... one of these days."

"Don't you think that briefing him is needed? He'll be in total shock if that time comes."

"I know grandpa. I have considered that as well so I was planning to see him soon."

" well, if that's the best thing you could ever think of, then so be it."

Meanwhile, the cab stopped at the alley going to her apartment. She paid the driver then walked the narrow alley. It's 8am, Ysabelle must have sent her little girl to school now.

Ah, she couldn't believe how the man assigned a nanny for Miracle. She protested at first, however, the man was very insistent. His been acting as if he was the little girl's biological father.

Then immediately, her memory return to what had happen earlier. Was their relationship sealed already? She beamed cheerfully. But then her smile faded when she suddenly remembered the old man... Ethan's grandpa. He seemed familiar and the woman had been wrecking her brain as to where she saw him.

Ah! Never mind that. She'll probably remembers it in due time. So she shrugged off her thoughts and continued treking up the stairs.

She was about to open the door, however, a part of her was screaming danger; something is not right. Her body suddenly quivered in fear. But she tried to inhale deeply before she finally opens the door.Find authorized novels in Webnovel, faster updates, better experience,Please click www.novelhall.comfor visiting.

The room was filled with silence that you could have heard the proverbial pin drop. It should have been normal like the other days but her instinct tells her to be careful. That someone is inside the room at the moment. Ah, her heart was beating fast. What will she do if she finds an intruder inside?

She was also hoping that Ysabelle and Mira had gone to school right now so whatever happens to her, at least she won't worry about their safety.

She released a heavy sigh before going to the living room but as soon as she stepped inside, her heart suddenly stopped. Her face traces fear at the scene in front of her. No!

Mira! Ysabelle! She held her breath.

One man covered the little girl's mouth to prevent her from talking nor shouting. Ysabelle, on the other hand was held captive by two armed men. They tied her hand and feet and her mouth was covered with a duct tape! Fear was very visible in their eyes!

Mira! Ysabelle! She yelped and was about to run towards them but someone pointed out a gun at her back.

"W-who are you?" She asked trying to hide her trembling.

"Me? Your greatest nightmare." The man chuckled evilly. The woman suddenly yelped when she heard a voice in her head. It was the same phrase the man had just said.

("Your greatest nightmare.") She heard that phrase before! But where?

"Miss Miran, would you like to have a sit so we can talk?" The man behind her spoke.

"Can you first let them go? Please... " she pleaded for Ysabelle and Mira's life.

"Hmmm... Let me think..." The man derided.

"Ysabelle is just my child's nanny, she can't possibly do anything to harm you." She voiced. "Please, just let them get inside the room first. And I appreciate if you could untie them." She beseeched the man.

The man behind her then cued his men to do the woman's wish. Therefore, they took the young girl and her nanny inside the room. While the two men stayed outside, guarding the door.

"Sit." The man ordered so she went to the couch and sat on it. the man did the same. He sat opposite her, still pointing out his gun on her. Then another two armed men stood behind the woman. Just how many are there inside? She was vigilantly observing the surrounding.

"Who are you and what do you need from me?" The woman inquired.

"Miss Miran, you don't know me yet since you have never met me before. But I'm sure you know who sent me." He smirked dreadfully.

The woman gasped. Zoren!

"I'll take your reaction as a yes." He laid his back on the couch. "Yes, It's definitely Zoren and I'm here to collect all your parent's debts as well as the three years interest."

"What?!" The woman squeaked. "Even if I collect my salary for the whole year, I can't possibly have the amount owed!"

"That's not my problem anymore, miss Miran. You should know the consequences before you borrowed from the loan sharks! My boss gave the money as soon as your parent's asked. Then why can't we have our money back? You need to pay for it so the business will thrive!" The man blast.

"But you cheated on them! Your boss took advantage of my parent's illiteracy and made them signed an unfair agreement! 50% interest? That's absurd!

" Well, it's their fault for being illiterate. What could we do?" He leered.

"Shame on you!" She was so upset. She clenched her hands that were itching to kill the man in front of her.

"Anyway, our main goal is to come and collect the 3.7 million that you owe us." He spoke with finality.

"I don't have that kind of amount right now. Can you give me more time? I promise to pay it as soon as possible."

"Unfortunately, it's now or never." The man immediately replied. "Or else, we have to take a compensation. You won't surely want to hear Zoren's proposition."

Alex suddenly felt a chill coursing from her body. Why does she feels uneasy all of a sudden?

"Also, we were notified that you are in a relationship with Mr. Williams, the great CEO of the Central State." He smirked. "I'm sure this amount is just a dime to him."

Dang! How did they know about Ethan? Impossible! Looks like they've been following her.. Or perhaps, someone tipped them off. But who could it be? She was thinking deeply. Who else knew about the loan sharks aside from Clement and her parents? She clenched her teeth. Someone had just backstabbed her.

"Miss Miran, I think you need to make a choice right now. Pay us immediately or..." He paused then looked at her eyes intently. "Or we will take your daughter with us." He smirked evilly. "Your daughter's life is now in your hands."
