2 The Beginning

[Beep! Beep! Beep!]

Victoria's eyebrows twisted with annoyance hearing the continuous beeping echoing in her ears. Even if she was a CEO who spent their entire day working she still hating being forced to wake up early every morning.

Moving her hand, she swatted the area near her in search of her alarm. However, the area where her alarm normally rested was empty.

Victoria's eyes opened in confusion before quickly closing after a bright light penetrated her irises.

"I'm in the hospital?" Once she was able to open her eyes again, Victoria analyzed the room. White walls, hundreds of wires plugged up to different machines, and the uncomfortable padding under her were all signs the she was definitely in some kind of medical area.

The memories of Luke killing her rushed into her brain and a fire of hope started in her heart. Did she survive? Her eyes widened in surprise.

Falling so deep in the depths of the ocean left her feeling hopeless. After all Luke's plan was absolute. He took her on a 'honeymoon' at least 500 miles away from any coastline ensuring that no one would see that incident.

To find her in time before she ran out of air? Wouldn't that be impossible?

Victoria reached for the hospital remote in her bed side.

Turning on the TV, Victoria started flipping through news channels. An attack on a world renowned CEO like herself isn't something that could be hidden from the world. Even if she disappeared for a day, chaos would reign in her company. The news should be able to clear up exactly what happened to her.

[Victoria Hill..] hearing her name her thumb froze on the remote.

Ice... a chilling ice froze her heart as she listened to the news. The picture of her face on the TV screen burned into her mind.

"Dead, why are you saying I'm dead?!" Victoria exclaimed in disbelief at the tv. The hand holding the remote had started to shake.

Unable to process the information, Victoria lost the function to think. Her head slipped back on to her pillow and her eyes started blankly at the ceiling.

After an unknown amount of time passed, her eyes finally blinked.

'I'm dead, yet at the same time I'm alive.'

Still in a dazed state, Victoria brought her hand in front of her face. Now that she paid attention, she could tell that the hand was slightly smaller than her own. It was delicate and pale looking like it never experienced a day of hard work.

Seeing that she could move hands that weren't her own made Victoria feel sick. The entire situation seemed like it came straight out of one of those ridiculous science fiction movies. None of it should be possible in real life.

However, here she was. Living in a foreign body, defying everything she thought she knew about the world.

Red. Victoria's sight turned blood red when she heard the words coming from the TV screen. To slander her is one thing, but to even frame her mom along with it. The worse part is that there was nothing she could do about it. No one had evidence about the murder and in everyone's eyes Luke was a perfect person, while she always kept to herself. Even if someone doubted it he could easily pay them off or threaten them.

The rage that was stifled due to the confusion came back at full force clearing up her mind. Even if she was crazy or if some crazy science fiction sh*t had happened, Luke Edward... she would would rip him to pieces.

She would bring him to the ground even if it's done using the savage method of burying him alive. She would find her mother's body and give her a proper burial. And accomplish her desire in her past life. This time she would conquer the tech industry.

Seeing a phone on the corner of the night stand, Victoria, picked it up and turned it on. She currently didn't have a clear grasp of the situation, but this should clear it up.

She started to scroll through all of the apps and pictures on the phone collecting her body's life inside of her head.

Looking into the person's life, Victoria's eyebrow lifted up. Everything about her new vessel was extremely interesting.

This person's name is Rory Haynes. A rich kid who was bullied in college to the point of trying to kill themself. They seemingly succeeded as their body was now inhabited by her. Reading the body's messages her eyes became cold seeing all of the insults thrown at them. People could really be cruel. However, why didn't the Hynes family step in?

The Haynes family is a multi-billionaire company in the hotel business. Not her favorite kind of industry, but the benefits are clear for anyone to see.

She never had the 'benefit 'of meeting a Hynes as their circle tended to think they were better than everyone. They were old money, her company even after many years of blood and sweat would never be in their eyesight no matter how much she made.
