We were putting the plan into action now. Kyle had come up with the plan himself but he seemed to be a little uptight about it now. I swear he was acting like I was some tiny little girl walking into a room full of monsters. I could handle myself. I had slept, I had eaten (more than once), and I had shifted. I was much stronger than I was yesterday. Still he was worried.
The first thing he had me do was dress like a slut. I would say a hooker but it wasn't a dress so I had to change the person to slut. Then, once I was ready he took me to the motel that the fucking pervert Sandy Fink was in.
I bypassed the office to this fucking shithole and continued straight to the door of room number nine. I could smell at least five people in the room beyond it. The problem was, there was at least one shifter in there.
I knocked on the door. I wasn't going to turn back just because there was one supernatural on the other side of the door. No, I was here to do a job. And besides, I was stronger than just one shifter man. I would be able to handle this situation.
The door finally opened and a man was standing in front of me.
"What's this? Who are you?" The man who opened the door was Sandy Fink's friend, Jimmy Lee.
"Hi, are you Xavier?" I put on a falsely chipper and dumb sounding voice. It made me want to vomit.
"Who the fuck is Xavier?" Jimmy Lee looked confused.
"I'll be Xavier for you sweetheart." Another man came running toward us and smiled lecherously, ugh what a pig. "I'll be whoever you want me to be?" That vomit was getting hard to hold in.
"Isn't Xavier here?" I tilted my head like I was confused by the situation. "He texted me and told me that this was the room he was going to be in." I pulled up the fake message from the fake Xavier and showed it to them so they wouldn't think that I was lying. Which I was. "I was supposed to meet him tonight. We've been texting for months and we were supposed to meet each other here. It's halfway between for us." I made myself sound sad now, fishing for their pity.
"No baby, Xavier isn't here, but I'll keep you company. What's your name?" Blech. That creep that ran forward was so disgusting with how eager he was. But, honestly, he was my best shot for getting into the room.
"My name is Tasha." I usually gave my real name, but there was a chance that one of them would know my name because of Matthew. So this time I thought up a name that they might buy.
"Ooh, Tasha. That's a lovely name. Why don't you come on inside and we can get to know each other. You look so beautiful that I just can't pass up this opportunity to get to know you"
Creepo beckoned me into the room and Jimmy Lee shut the door behind me. I saw Sandy Fink sitting in a chair near the bathroom, Craig Polk was sitting on the bed closest to the bathroom, and another man I didn't know was leaning against the corner of the room next to Sandy.
"Have a seat, gorgeous." The creep from the door pointed to the first bed that was currently unoccupied.
Once I was seated the creepy jerk sat next to me. He was ugly with oily hair and foul breath. It was hard to tell if his hair was dark blond or brown with how nasty and gross it looked. His eyes were green but not a pretty shade of green. And he had a pudgy pot belly. Yup, that vomit was getting hard to hold back. Maybe the baby hated the sight of him too?
Sandy looked dirty as well but it was easy to tell who he was because of the picture from his file. That nose was too recognizable. Jimmy Lee had been easy to recognize by his appearance, and not just his red hair. He looked like a man who was addicted to drugs, smelled like one too.
Craig Polk's file had been in the report from EZ as well. He was tall and extremely thin with longish graying blond hair even though he was only in his early forties. His eyes were a pale blue that made you think they were clouded over with some disease.
The man in the corner was the shifter. He was hiding his face but I was certain that I didn't know him. His hair was dyed white. He had chosen a style for his hair that was long on top and shaved on the sides so that it looked like he could do a mohawk but had been too lazy. He was dressed like a typical street punk but his muscles were bulging in a way that looked like he was used to fighting.
I wondered briefly if he was going to be a problem. Was he going to try and get rid of me before this was all over with. I could tell that he didn't belong in this room with these people. He was the only one who looked like he knew how to use a shower, or wash his clothes.
"You really are beautiful, Tasha." The creep next to me was talking again, his hand up on my leg. "What kind of guys do you usually go for?"
"What? Oh, um, I don't know. I guess I like them to be good looking." I giggled like I thought it was funny. With the except of the man in the corner whose face I couldn't see they were all fucking ugly. I mean if I had to choose between them and death, well, I've lived long enough.
"Good looking huh?" The creep laughed. "Is that the only thing you go for?"
"Hmm, I don't really know." I had my head tilted like I was thinking. "Hey, what's your name anyway?"
"My name is John, that over there is Jimmy, Craig, Sandy, and-."
"My name is not important." The man in the corner cut him off. "And are you sure you want her here right now? We have things to discuss." It sounded like Mr. Unknown Shifter wanted me to leave.
"She will be fine. I don't think she will be able to tell anyone what we're going to talk about." Sandy was the one that answered him, and he had a dark look in his eyes.
I read between those lines easily. He was basically telling me that they were going to use me and kill me. I am so glad that some random girl didn't just show up at their room like I pretended to do.
"Oh, if you're busy then I can go." I made to get up but John put a hand on my thigh and held me in place.
I wasn't a small girl but John was a tallish man. He was about an inch or so taller than me and he thought he was strong enough to do what he wanted to with me.
"No, don't go just yet, they can talk and we can talk." Eww, his breath was vile. That was rancid and strong with his face right next to mine.
"If you don't mind. But I can leave too."
"No, I wouldn't dream of putting a lady like you out on the street." He was grinning. Yuck, shut your mouth dude.
"I think she should leave." The shifter spoke again. Hmm, at first I thought he was hostile, but maybe he was trying to save me. "We're busy here."
"Really? What are you busy with?" I think my curiosity pissed off the shifter and excited Sandy and John.
"Just leave her be Bastian. I don't think she is going to be any harm to any of us." Yup, Sandy Fink was definitely a lot more evil than I had given his credit for.
"I'm not going to cause anyone any trouble." I grinned, making Creepy John laugh next to my ear.
"Yeah, leave her be Bastian." Well since it was the second time that the name was used I could guess that was the name of the mystery man.
I heard Bastian sigh as he turned his head to look at me a little more. I could see the bright blue of his eyes. And now that his hair was in the light more I could see that there were streaks of other colors than just the white. There were grays, blacks, and even some browns but the primary color was still white. It looked pretty interesting if you asked me. Not to mention he was extremely good looking. Just who was he?
"This is starting to get too complicated.. Don't say I didn't try to stop you."
