The army of mutants kept the guards occupied and the three people hiding behind the bushes were naturally not seen.
Once all the thousand mutants were brought over through the barrier, LeiLei's face turned pale showing how exhausted the girl was.
"You can rest now," Hecathe sighed as he patted her head and spoke.
LeiLei nodded her head as she heard this and it seemed that the girl had been waiting to hear just this.
As soon as Hecathe had told her to rest, the girl closed her eyes and fell back, losing consciousness.
Marvin who was sitting next to her caught her easily and frowned as he saw her blood-drained white face.
"What are you trying to do?" Marvin turned his head up only to glare at Hecathe as he gritted out, "You should've already known that it would be dangerous."
Hecathe nodded his head as he heard the boy and confirmed, "I knew it. I was just testing out her limit."
"..." Marvin clearly didn't look happy as he heard this.
"You stay back as well," Hecathe spoke as he didn't even bother looking at Marvin.
"What are you doing now?" Marvin asked with a frown that was still present on his face.
Hecathe gulped as he stood up from behind the bushes and didn't even bother giving the boy an answer as the man stepped forward and walked along with the mutants that were heading to attack the guards.
One of the guards noticed Hecathe and he certainly looked to be both shocked and confused.
Hecathe was walking amongst an army of mutants but the man was still not bitten by any of the creatures. Rather, it almost looked as if the mutants didn't even want to go anywhere near him in fear.
These guards had certainly not seen such a thing before this and hence, it was only natural that there was a sense of fear in their hearts for the man.
"Who is it?!" One of the guards shouted as he questioned Hecathe's identity but Hecathe only chuckled dryly as he looked at the ground and calmed walked with the mutants.
Hecathe purposefully made his voice deeper as he asked, "Are you sure you can handle the answer to that question?"
The guards fought off the mutants and one of them even tried to shoot at Hecathe but a group of mutants protected Hecathe as they received the Zelium bullets for the man.
The guards immediately started to panic as they realized that the weird intruder was controlling the mutants and there was only one person with such an infamous ability.
"It's Alphius! It's Alphius!" One of the guards announced and in that split second of distraction, a mutant jumped up and bit off his head, killing him on the spot.
"Go and call for backup!" Another guard shouted, "Send out the signal! Alphius is attacking Zeblor!"
The other guard tried to send out a signal as he ran towards the door but his actions did not escape the eyes of Hecathe and the guard was immediately attacked by twenty mutants all at once.
The mutants tore the guard to shreds and it was only natural that the man died on the spot.
"Attacking Zeblor?" Hecathe raised his head and took off the mask as he looked at the guard who had announced the orders, "That's a bit extreme to say."
The guard gulped as he heard Hecathe and raised his gun to aim at Hecathe but Hecathe felt no fear as he saw the gun being pointed at him.
"Rather than labeling this as an attack, it would be more accurate to say that this is a warning," Hecathe smirked as he calmly stated and the guard gulped as he pulled the trigger.
However, the bullet was once again taken by a mutant who jumped in front of Hecathe and saved him.
"I'm warning you," Hecathe continued as he glared at the man and the guard who faced Hecathe at this moment was sure that there was no way he could simply stop this infamous Alphius.
"Go and report this to your three willows of spring," Hecathe instructed with a smug smirk, "Tell them that I'm looking for someone. The actual culprit of the great Orgon's murder case."
The guard unconsciously took a step back as he continued to fight off the mutants while anxiously listening to Hecathe.
"If your rulers don't find him then I will and when I find him, you can rest assured that I'll organize a public slaughter for all to enjoy."
The guard gulped as he heard his but said nothing in turn.
Hecathe smiled as he saw the remaining six guards struggling to save their lives.
With a sigh, Hecathe shrugged his shoulder as he casually informed, "Well, that was all I was here to say. I'll be living in Zeblor for a bit. After all, you're city is such a beauty."
Hecathe walked ahead and with the help of the mutants, he cleared a path towards one of the doors and casually kicked it open as he headed inside.
The guards all tried to stop him but a thousand mutants were still a bit too much for them to handle and in the end, they couldn't stop Hecathe no matter how hard they tried.
Marvin's eyes widened as he heard Hecathe's confident statement and it took the boy a whole minute to understand that Hecathe had given the signal.
As soon as he realized it, the boy immediately shook LeiLei as he tried to wake the girl up.
"LeiLei, wake up. He gave the signal. We need to go back."
LeiLei opened her eyes slightly as she heard this and with just a flick of her finger, Marvin, Hecathe, and LeiLei were sent out of the city, all the way back to Ocasia.
Once they were back in Ocasia, LeiLei passed out once again, and Hecathe, for some reason, laughed to himself while Marvin looked at him with his face cringed up.
"What the hell were you trying to do...?!" Marvin was certainly not polite as he questioned out loud.
Marvin had no idea what the man was planning and after what he had just witnessed, the boy was even more confused.
"Didn't I already make my intentions clear?" Hecathe asked back as he tilted his head.
Marvin frowned as he heard this but didn't say anything as he waited for the man to continue.
"I was warning the three willows of spring."
"Warning?" Marvin repeated with a scoff as he spoke, "You were challenging them and not warning...!"
"They're basically the same thing," Hecathe shrugged his shoulders as he responded.
"Hecathe, are you trying to get yourself killed?" Marvin asked and there was clear concern evident in his voice.
Hecathe chuckled as he heard this question and confidently asked back in turn, "Can they kill me that easily?"
"That's the three willows of spring we are talking about. The strongest ability users in this world," Marvin replied as he pursed his lips into a thin line, looking to be unimpressed with Hecathe and his carelessness.
"Are you afraid of them?" Hecathe sighed as he asked seriously, looking at the boy intently as he waited for an answer.
"What...?!" Marvin's eyebrows creased together but he couldn't give a straightforward answer to that question.
Hecathe shook his head in disappointment as he spoke, "If you are afraid to go against them then I'm afraid you'll have to forget about your father and his wrongful death."
"..."
"I'm saying this because I think you still respect them and look up to them, but they are not good people. They are not someone you can trust and if you want to avenge your father, you need to learn how to stand up to them."
Marvin was silent as he heard this and this silence was to be expected considering the fact that Hecathe was suddenly telling him to stand up against the ones that he had considered as an idol for so long.
"If you can't do it then just say so," Hecathe added as his eyes narrowed down on the boy and he clicked his tongue, "I'm not forcing you to join me. This was your choice from the beginning itself."
Marvin opened his mouth to say something but closed it soon enough as he displayed his reluctance.
"The three willows of spring would now be fooled into thinking that Alphius had infiltrated the capital," Hecathe sighed as he changed the subject and informed, "They'll focus their resources on catching him and the secret search going on in Ocasia for Alphius would come to a pause."
Marvin looked to be a bit surprised as he heard this and the boy slowly started to understand what the man wanted to do.
"The guards would surely relay my message to the three willows of spring and the killer would start to panic," Hecathe continued confidently as he stated his plan, "Attacking the guards was necessary in order to relay our message clearly. We need the three willows of spring to take us seriously."
