When Hecathe and Marvin went back home, LeiLei was already waiting for Hecathe back in his room and he seemed to have already expected this.
"What? Do you wanna tell me the truth now?" Hecathe questioned with a frown and the girl shook her head as she heard this.
"Then get out," Hecathe clicked his tongue as he spoke rather coldly and rudely, "I have nothing to discuss with you. I hired you for a job and that will be the only thing that we need to be concerned about."
LeiLei pursed her lips into a thin line and didn't look to be very happy with Hecathe's reaction.
The Dorgon who was woken up by the noise looked at the two people in surprise as this was certainly the first time that he was seeing Hecathe seriously being mad at the girl.
Hecathe huffed as he walked over towards his desk and took off his mask and cloak before sitting down.
"Why are you still here?" The man clicked his tongue as he questioned.
"Sir... I wanted to ask you a question," LeiLei sighed as she spoke and although Hecathe was not in a really good mood today, he still decided to hear her question.
"What is it?"
"What would you do if you were in my shoes...?" LeiLei asked without any hesitations as she raised her head and curiously looked at Hecathe.
"Me?" Hecathe responded with a dry chuckle, "I'd probably let the police and law handle it."
"Eh?" The girl titled her head in confusion but before she could ask anything, Hecathe continued.
"However, if the perpetrator is the one controlling the laws, I'd probably start a manhunt and go looking for justice."
"..."
"After all, you can't always depend on the laws to save you and give you justice, can you?" Hecathe added.
"Then what if I was the one that betrayed you...?" LeiLei gulped as she asked while looking straight into Hecathe's eyes.
"I don't like liars nor do I like being betrayed," Hecathe spoke with a thin smile as he avoided giving a direct answer to that question.
"So it doesn't matter if I'm close to you or not? You'll still want to seek revenge?" The girl asked in disbelief and Hecathe couldn't help but feel a little amused by her words.
"LeiLei, did you betray me?" Hecathe asked with a small smirk that was barely visible on his face.
LeiLei pursed her lips into a thin line and looked down at the ground as she shook her head, "That's not it."
"Then did you get betrayed by such a person?" Hecathe asked without missing a beat.
This time, LeiLei was a bit reluctant as she stayed silent and gave no response.
Hecathe sighed as he folded his arms in front of him and spoke, "Look, I don't mean to act as if you're the one in the wrong but... You should know that the moment someone decided to betray you, they are no longer someone you should be trusting."
LeiLei gulped as she nodded her head in understanding.
"Do you want to tell me now?" Hecathe tilted his head as he asked, "Who is the one that tried to kill you, LeiLei?"
LeiLei shook her head without any hesitation as she still didn't give up the answer to that question, "I don't know."
It was clear that she knew but Hecathe only clicked his tongue and didn't bother trying to force her to answer.
"Alright then, you can leave," Hecathe spoke with a bit of disappointment clearly evident in his tone, "Come back when you actually remember the person."
"..."
This time, LeiLei nodded her head and left the place as she didn't bother Hecathe anymore.
Once the girl was out the door, the Dorgon immediately turned to look at Hecathe in surprise as he asked, "What was that? Why are you guys fighting? I thought you and the witch were getting along pretty well."
"Eggy, do you feel like she's suspicious?" Hecathe asked as he leaned back on the Dorgon that was sitting behind him.
"Haven't I been saying that since the start?" The Dorgon clicked his tongue as he responded.
Hecathe frowned as he heard this and nodded his head with a sigh, "That's right. You've been cautious of her since day one."
"Because she is powerful," The Dorgon spoke with a sigh as well.
"But she acts weak," Hecathe added and the Dorgon once again nodded his head as he agreed.
"You're probably the only one who would trust a person like her."
Hecathe didn't know if he was supposed to laugh or cry as he heard this.
To say that Hecathe trusted her... He no longer knew if this would be true or not.
'Cause he knew the moment he saw her that she was a person who would only be worth trusting if she trusted him back. In all honesty, in the beginning, he trusted her greed more than her as a person.
However, now that he got to know the girl better, he could no longer trust her greed that much.
"Master, by the way, I'm feeling hungry," The Dorgon gulped as he spoke and Hecathe looked at him in disbelief.
"Ya know, it's getting harder to keep your stomach happy," Hecathe sighed as he shook his head.
"I'm a growing child!" The Dorgon defended himself, "And in any case, wouldn't I be of more value to you if I am strong and well-fed?"
"..." Hecathe was a bit speechless as he heard this but he still nodded his head as he responded, "You're right. Having more healthy meat by the side is always good."
The Dorgon repeated Hecathe's words in his head and it took more than a minute for him to understand what Hecathe had just said and by the time that he had understood it, Hecathe had already gotten up and gone downstairs to get some food for the creature.

The next day, Hecathe woke up early and knocked on Marvin's door without any prior information.
Marvin was still sleeping and it took him a few minutes to completely wake up as he walked over towards the door and opened it for Hecathe.
"What are you doing here?" Marvin asked with a frown as he looked at the man in disbelief.
"I'll be going now," Hecathe sighed as he informed and Marvin looked to be a bit confused as he heard this.
"What do you mean? Where are you going?" The boy asked as the frown on his face deepened.
"Zeblor," Hecathe responded and Marvin looked to be a little shocked.
"What...?!" Marvin was now fully awake as his eyes opened up wide and he stared at Hecathe, waiting for an explanation.
"Everything is set," Hecathe smiled as he spoke, "Yesterday night, I talked to a person that I trust and she informed me that the mecha-suits are already on the move. They have started infiltrating Zeblor and it won't be long before we get to execute our plan."
Marvin gulped as he heard this and the boy would certainly be lying if he said that he wasn't a bit worried about all of this.
"I'll go to Zeblor first and check out the situation there. I need to get in contact with the mecha-suits or our plan might be in danger."
"Then what about us?" Marvin asked as he innocently tilted his head in confusion.
"You'll stay behind and deal with the things here."
"But isn't it too early for you to get arrested? Your trial is already over and there won't be another one so they'll execute you the moment they find you."
Hecathe shook his head with a small chuckle as he heard this, "I only said I'll be going to Zeblor now. I never said anything about getting arrested just yet."
Since there was nothing further that he needed to do in Ocasia, Hecathe felt that it was a perfect moment to go and get a few things done in Zeblor.
"What about the guild and Kelly? Are they not going to get suspicious?"
"I'll be relying on you for that. Just come up with some kind of lie. Tell her that I got fatally wounded or something," Hecathe clicked his tongue as he spoke.
"..."
"I'll be going now," Hecathe spoke with a small smile and Marvin said nothing more as he simply nodded his head in understanding.
Zeblor wasn't too far away and Hecathe had expected it to be easy to get there, but surprisingly enough, after the last time when he caused trouble with the guards and the mutants, this time, the city had strengthened the outer circle guards and it was almost impossible to get inside without permission.
"Master, what do we do now?" The Dorgon asked as he side-glanced at Hecathe.
The Dorgon was great at camouflaging himself and hence, he blended in well with the background which made him almost invisible if it weren't for his bright eyes that seemed to be floating in mid-air.
Hecathe sighed as he looked up at the sky and spoke, "There is only one way to get inside."
