Hecathe closed his eyes and took a deep breath in as he shouted at the top of his voice, "Eggy, come out here right this instant!"
"..."
Surprisingly enough, he sounded exactly like a strict father who was ready to reprimand his disobedient child that had run away from home.
The mecha-suit looked to be speechless as he heard this and he clicked his tongue as he got ready to send Hecathe away, however, just as he raised his hand, there came a child's annoyed voice, responding to Hecathe's call.
"I'm here, stop yapping, old man."
"..." Hecathe who was suddenly called an old man didn't know if he was supposed to laugh or cry as he saw the little Dorgon approaching him in his human form..
Hecathe wondered if he was the one crazy for expecting a word of gratitude. Here he was thinking that the Dorgon was in danger but it seemed that the Dorgon had been thoroughly enjoying his life with the mecha-suits.
Hecathe sighed as he shook his head and crouched down to the ground, "Eggy, have I not warned you about going with strangers?"
"Um... No?" The Dorgon responded honestly as he frowned.
Although the Dorgon looked extremely cute in his human form, Hecathe wanted to smack him on the head as he heard him.
Did this Dorgon not know how to act in a dire situation?!
Hecathe reached out to hug the child as he planned to complete the act of a perfect father-finding-son scene, however, they were suddenly interrupted by another mecha-suit who pulled the little boy back.
"Stop," The mecha-suit spoke and looked at Hecathe without saying anything any further.
"You think he's suspicious?" The other mecha-suit who had been the one talking to Hecathe till now asked as he looked at the one that had suddenly stopped the boy.
The mecha-suit nodded its head and Hecathe gulped as warning signs went off in his head.
This mecha-suit was a bit too sharp...
"Captain Alphius..." The mecha-suit spoke and Hecathe's muscles immediately tensed up, "Since when did you have a child?"
Hecathe pursed his lips into a thin line and he really wasn't sure if he was supposed to laugh or cry at the moment.
His cover had been completely blown and he had no idea how.
The other mecha-suits looked to be both shocked and horrified as they heard this and now Hecathe felt even more awkward as he received piercing gazes from everyone.
Hecathe sighed as he took the mask off his face and as soon as the mask dropped to the ground, the mecha-suits also gasped as they dropped to the ground and immediately apologized.
There was only one mecha-suit who remained standing and it was the one that had recognized him.
The Dorgon whistled as he found the scene a bit amusing.
The mecha-suits were clearly much larger than Hecathe and at a single glance, it looked like Hecathe should be the one apologizing and not daring to mess with them, but the real situation was really a bit too opposite to the expectation.
Hecathe glanced around to see the mecha-suits who were paying respect to their leader and he couldn't help but feel a little sorry for them since he wasn't exactly their real leader.
"Captain, I thought you were going to get arrested," The mecha-suit who remained standing spoke and this made Hecathe a bit surprised.
"How do you know that?" Hecathe asked as his eyes narrowed down on the mecha-suit.
The mecha-suit let out a sigh as it took off the helmet and Hecathe's eyes widened as he got another surprise.
"Xanie...?!" Hecathe muttered in disbelief as he looked at the girl who was inside the mecha-suit.
Xanie chuckled softly as she nodded her head, "I'm glad to see you safe."
Hecathe gulped as he heard this and said nothing as a response since he still planned on getting arrested.
"Now mind explaining how you suddenly became a father?" Xanie tilted her head with a thin smile as she asked and Hecathe couldn't help but feel a shiver run down his spine as he saw that smile.
He considered Xanie as a polite, kind, and helpful girl but this was certainly the first time that he saw the girl in a different light.
She was a bit scary when serious...
"Old man, is this your girlfriend?" The Dorgon questioned as he clicked his tongue and stood beside Hecathe with his little hands clutching onto Hecathe's trousers.
Hecathe wanted to smack the Drogon's head but he held himself back as he chuckled awkwardly and spoke through his gritted teeth, "Son, don't go around speaking whatever comes to your mind."
The Dorgon stuck out his tongue but said nothing as a response.
"Let's talk inside, shall we?" Xanie smiled as she suggested and Hecathe nodded his head as he agreed.
While everyone kept kneeling, Xanie led the man to a room and told him to wait there.
Hecathe originally thought that he would only be talking with Xanie but he was immediately made aware that he was going to have a meeting with all the generals.
Xanie left the room to contact the generals and in order to clear Hecathe's confusion, she sent him a message through the QMS.
"Captain, don't act as if we had been in contact. We are being watched so I suppose you know what to do."
As Hecathe heard this message, he couldn't help but be a little impressed by the girl.
She really knew what to do and how to be serious at times of need and that was a skill that Hecathe highly valued in his life.
"How did you find me, Master?"
Now that there were only Hecathe and the Dorgon in the room, the Dorgon spoke up in his usual tone.
Hecathe's eyes narrowed on the little child and he frowned as he asked, "Why are you no longer calling me Old man?"
"Did you enjoy being called Old man?" The Dorgon tilted his head as he spoke, "I may continue if you enjoyed it."
Hecathe, "Try calling me an Old man again and you're not getting any food for a week."
"..."
Since all the generals were in the same building, it wasn't really hard to inform and gather them.
In the first place itself, it was shocking for them to hear about Alphius's arrival, and hence, as soon as they got the news, they all rushed over.
In just a few minutes, the room was already filled with all the generals who looked at Hecathe in disbelief and shock.
"C-Captain!" One of the generals stuttered as he fell to the ground and shockingly enough, there were two round drops of tears trailing down his cheeks, "It's such a relief to see that you're okay!"
Hecathe gulped as he saw such a dramatic reaction which was definitely not fake.
Hecathe cleared his throat as he spoke up, "Stop crying. How can an adult cry over something like this?"
The mecha-suit wiped his tears away and pouted as he nodded his head and stood up abediently.
Another general hesitantly walked forward and tried to poke Hecathe.
"What are you trying to do?" Hecathe glared at the man as he question.
"Captain, you're real...?!"
"..."
These generals... Had really daring personalities...
Once all the generals were in the room, Hecathe coughed as he ordered them to sit down for a talk.
"I'm glad to see that you all still remember me," Hecathe spoke with a sigh, "I'm sure you came here after knowing about my situation."
The generals nodded their heads in unison as they heard this.
"It's a relief to see that you're still living well," One of the generals sighed in relief as he spoke.
Hecathe nodded his head with a dry chuckle as he heard this, "Since you're so relieved, let me tell you the reason why you shouldn't be relieved just yet."
"..." The Generals were all silent as they heard this and looked to be a bit stunned as they patiently waited to hear Hecathe continue.
"I'm going to get arrested soon," Hecathe closed his eyes and calmly spoke, ignoring the shocked gasps that he could hear, "And that's the reason why I have arranged for you all to come here. I'll be needing your help."
"We'll do anything for you, Captain!" One of the generals exclaimed and the others seemed to agree as they nodded their heads.
Hecathe sighed, "You haven't even heard what help I'll be needing."
"It doesn't matter! Whatever you want, we'll be there to help you achieve it!" Another general exclaimed with great determination and Hecathe didn't know if he was supposed to laugh or cry as he heard this.
"I'm happy to see your enthusiasm but for the help that I'm about to ask you... It would still be understanding if you decide not to join me this time."
This was the first time that they were hearing such a thing from their Leader so their shock and confusion were self-explanatory.
"Not everyone in this room may agree with my plan and that is perfectly okay. Which is why I'll give you time to think about it before you agree," Hecathe continued with a sigh, "I'll be leading a new rebellion."
No one know who had gulped but the room was silent enough to even make such a sound audible to everyone.
