Chapter 226 - Abrupt turn of event! (Part-2)

Liu Ruolan narrowed her eyes as this was not what they had agreed upon. She was hoping that the man would kill Liu Juan and let go of Bo Xiao so that she could make Bo Xiao stay with her forever on the account that he was saved and alive only because of her.

However, now the man was saying that he wouldn't kill Liu Juan.

Liu Ruolan always wanted to get rid of Liu Juan in fear that Liu Juan would take away the things which were precious to her like money, luxury, this comfortable life, and Bo Xiao. After all, she had been staying in Liu Juan's place, using Liu Juan's name.

Though Liu Ruolan had never planned to kill Liu Juan after knowing that Liu Juan had planned to use her again and more than worse, Bo Xiao had feelings for Liu Juan. Bo Xiao, for whom Liu Ruolan was ready to die, had feelings for Liu Juan rather than her.

At that instant, Liu Ruolan had agreed upon a deal with their boss to kill Liu Juan. However, now their boss was saying he wouldn't kill Liu Juan. It was the first time for Liu Ruolan to take part in the activities of this dangerous world in which she had been living and now she got nothing but a betrayal. 

She betrayed Bo Xiao and Liu Juan in the hope to be the winner of these games of plans but in the end, she was also the one who got betrayed.

Liu Ruolan wasn't ready to accept this result.

"You can't do this! We made a deal. I did what you want, now you have to keep your part of the deal!" Liu Ruolan didn't want to suffer a loss, no matter what the outcome might be. 

No one had talked to the man like this before, not even Liu Juan. Hearing Liu Ruolan's demanding tone, Xin Chao pointed his gun at Liu Ruolan and was ready to shoot her but the man raised his hand to stop him.

"I have to do my part of our deal, really? And what if I don't do it, huh? What are you going to do?"

Liu Ruolan didn't have any words against the man's question but she wasn't ready to accept a betrayal, thus, she continued to stare into his eyes which showed no fear but her heart was pounding against her c.h.e.s.t like a drum.

Looking at her, a sentence instantly came into the man's mind 'Point of similarity!' 

It was the first time the man had noticed a similarity in both the sisters that they were persistent. One was persistent to get freedom for her big sister and the other was persistent to get rid of her little sister.

"Take her back to the villa and throw her in the cell." The man ordered and a few men came forward to drag Liu Ruolan away from here but was she willing to go?

"What?No! Leave me!" Liu Ruolan struggled to get out of their grab of the men but her efforts were futile. "You can't do this to me. We made a deal!" Liu Ruolan said to the man but her words turned deaf on his ears. Thus, she turned to plead to Bo Xiao "Bo Xiao...Please help me...I didn't mean to hurt you...I just want to be with you…" But Bo Xiao didn't look at her, not even once, not even when she shouted his name "Bo Xiao...Please."

While Liu Ruolan knew that pleading to Liu Juan would do nothing but still she had hoped from Bo Xiao, after all, he had saved her once but now…

It didn't seem so.

Soon Liu Ruolan's cries receded behind the woods.

A silence engulfed back.

Bo Xiao and Liu Juan knew that their plan had backfired upon them which resulted in death only or maybe something worse.

Sending Liu Ruolan in the cell was a safer option which wasn't in the destiny of Liu Juan that was why she didn't make a sound when Liu Ruolan was dragged away.

Like the man thought, there was one thing common in both the sisters and that was persistence. Liu Juan was still persistent on her idea to get freedom and this time not for herself but for only her big sister despite the fact that Liu Ruolan had not only betrayed her but also made a deal with their boss to kill her. However, Liu Ruolan had taken this step because this man, who was standing in front of her, had said something to Liu Ruolan to make Liu Ruolan go against her.

Thus, whatever Liu Ruolan did wasn't her fault, that was what Liu Juan believed.

Like an open book, the man spoke her thoughts out loud. "Still planning to get freedom for your sister, huh?"

"You lied to her."

"You can't blame me!" The man shrugged innocently and bent down to her level. "You know you did something which you shouldn't have. Didn't I warn you to think twice before going against my wishes?" The man said in a stern tone.

However, Liu Juan wasn't even scared of him like Bo Xiao's men who were shot to death in the next second.

"Bang!"

"Bang!"

"Bang!"

"Bang!"

"Bang!"

Now only Bo Xiao and Liu Juan were left who were looking at their boss with a thought, 'Was he going to kill them?'

And Liu Juan conveyed her thoughts before the man could read her thoughts through her expressions. "What? Aren't you going to kill me?"

Though she was waiting for her turn to get killed after Bo Xiao's men, she also knew this man wouldn't kill her.

Why?

Because she was still of use to him otherwise, he would have killed her along with her big sister.

Seeing her fearless front, the man confirmed his decision was right which he had taken way ago that Liu Juan was the best person for his team amongst the twin sisters. The person who was stronger in the missions and fights but weaker in doing politics against him just like Xin Chao. Unfortunately, she wasn't as loyal to him as Xin Chao. 

Nevertheless, the man knew how to get his work done from her.

"Let's talk about it later. Until then, why don't you let these brothers take out their anger for the betrayal you showed towards them, huh?" The man stood up to leave, letting the brothers, Robert and Jack, come forward towards Liu Juan and Xin Chao towards Bo Xiao to take off their anger.

With that, the sound of kicks, pouches, coughs, hisses, and groans could be heard in the forest early in the morning along with the chirping of birds.
