Chapter 231 - Lost Consciousness (Part-2)

At the time when Liu Juan was leaving.

Mo Jiang looked at her retreating back in disbelief and thought to himself, 'Was I really so harsh on her?'

"Damnit!"

Mo Jiang couldn't help but curse himself for the first time for being so strict on her.

'Was it really required to threaten to fire her on the first day of her job?'

'People need time to get adjusted.'

'Did I go overboard?'

He thought that now that she was his secretary, he would convince her to join his fighting team as well. However, now he had fired her and moreover, she had accepted it too without any hesitation.

He wanted to chase after her, however, he couldn't because of his ego. What would his image be as a boss if he would go after her?

Mo Jiang was standing in a daze while his mind was in a dilemma. But before he could come to a conclusion, his phone vibrated, making him come back to his senses.

It was Mo Jun.

Mo Jiang sighed as he knew what this call was about.

"Yes?" Mo Jiang answered the call.

"Come to see me!" Mo Jun said a few words and hung up.

Soon, Mo Jiang drove out of City Z towards his secret building which he had built in an abandoned area. This was the place where his intelligent men used their brains to save Mo Jiang as well as helped him to reach the top where no one could harm Mo Jiang. 

However, now he felt that only the brains of these men wouldn't suffice. They had to fight as well and take the risk of their lives to protect their boss, Mo Jiang.

However, was Mo Jiang ready to sacrifice these precious men of his?

'Tak...Tak…'

'Tak...Tak…'

Mo Jun was strolling back and forth in front of the team of men, who were standing with their heads hung down.

Mo Jinnan was also present there. However, there was a spark of excitement in his eyes compared to the shame evident in the eyes of the other men.

Mo Jun's face was stony hearing the previous night's incident that he couldn't help but worry about his elder son and feel angry at the useless bunch of Mo Jiang's men.

Choi Sun was among them and one couldn't fathom whether he was happy that Mo Jiang's enemy had increased in power to the point that he would be killed any day or sad that Mo Jiang was saved once again. 

Not long after, Mo Jiang walked inside and was clearly displeased with the scene in front of him.

"What are you doing here? Don't you have any work?" Mo Jiang confronted Mo Jinnan and then his men. "Why are you standing here? It seems that you all have a lot of free time…."

Though Mo Jiang's tone was harsh, everyone knew that he was saving them from Mo Jun's wrath.

"I have called all of them here." Mo Jun interrupted Mo Jiang sternly.

"Last night's mission was my responsibility. Whatever it is that you have to say, say it to me. You don't have to drag them into this."

"I don't have to drag them into this? They are a part of our organization. If they won't work properly, there is no need for them anymore."

"I should be one who decides whether we need them or not." Mo Jiang defended his men.

"I was the one who had given this power to you but it doesn't mean that I can't take your power back. Jinnan is here, he can take your place…"

"Jinnan would stay out of all of this. I have already made it clear!" Mo Jiang raised his voice to interrupt Mo Jun's words.

"Big Brother, let me help you…" Mo Jinnan tried to convince Mo Jiang, but his efforts only sparked the fire.

"Jinnan, leave right now!" Mo Jiang ordered.

Instantly, the excitement in Mo Jinnan's eyes dimmed into disappointment.

"Jinnan would not go anywhere!" Mo Jun insisted on Mo Jinnan's presence and this made Mo Jinnan stand rooted in his place.

"Didn't you hear what I said? Get out of here, right this instant!" Mo Jiang ferociously shouted at Mo Jinnan.

"No!" A quick rebellious reply came from Mo Jinnan, making Mo Jiang walk towards him to push him out of this building.

"How dare you?"

"How dare you disobey my words?" Mo Jiang's anger reached its peak and he punched Mo Jinnan's face.

A bruise formed on Mo Jinnan's cheek and blood followed from the corner of his lips.

Mo Jiang continued to push Mo Jinnan, but the same thing wasn't possible for Mo Jinnan. He couldn't hit his big brother who had been holding all the burden all alone, whether it be the reason behind their mother's death or responsibility of handling all the work of their underworld business so that Mo Jinnan would live a peaceful and happy life.

Mo Jiang didn't stop here. He kicked Mo Jinnan's stomach and made him fall straight out of the building.

'Thud!'

"Jiang!" Mo Jun was shocked to see Mo Jiang's anger at Mo Jinnan as it was the first time that Mo Jinnan was getting beaten up and that would be from Mo Jiang.

Mo Jiang's men, who were standing there, couldn't help but sympathize with Mo Jinnan.

Even though Mo Jiang didn't get angry often, however, once he would get angry, he wouldn't leave the other person alive or without him being disabled.

And the same thing seemed to be happening with Mo Jinnan.

"Big Brother…" Mo Jinnan spat the blood out as he didn't expect that Mo Jiang would beat him up so badly.

"You want to help me but you can't handle my single kick. What a coward you are!" Mo Jiang's words weren't only harsh but also it was shaking Mo Jinnan's confidence. He held Mo Jinnan up through his collar and threw him at the front side of the car.

'Pang!'

"Get the hell out of here before I kill you." Mo Jiang uttered the last words before disappearing inside the building.
