Chapter 263 - Wedding Night (Part-1)

Liu Juan was sitting on the passenger seat of the car in a daze. There was a very beautiful diamond ring on her ring finger and a red-colored marriage certificate in her hands.

She never liked to wear any accessories but now she was not only wearing an exquisite diamond ring but also a dazzling diamond necklace and earrings which Mo Jiang had gifted to her as a wedding gift.

She had never considered herself to be a beautiful lady but now, in this moment, sitting here with him as his partner, she had different thoughts.

Her fingers were slender and fair and now with the ring, her hands were looking extra splendid. There was a smile on her face as she noticed her appearance in the side mirror.

There was a platinum ring on Mo Jiang's ring finger too which gleamed due to the reflection of the sunlight.

Life had always brought him many responsibilities and marriage was also a big responsibility but it was the first time that he felt happy to embrace this responsibility.

Obviously, his face sported  a charming smile.

"I have to go to the office for a while. Do you want to come along with me or want me to drop you home?" Mo Jiang asked while driving as he recalled that there was an important meeting that required his presence.

"Home." Liu Juan replied in a low voice. Her twinkling eyes were still affixed on their marriage certificate.

Everything seemed like a dream. Thus, she needed some time alone to understand that her marriage with Mo Jiang wasn't a dream.

"Alright!" Mo Jiang drove her off to home and rushed back to the Mo Corporation. Besides, there was one more important work which he needed to do and that was to inform Mo Jin and Mo Jinnan of his marriage.

He didn't need Mo Jin's approval, but he still wanted Mo Jinnan to approve his marriage with Liu Juan.

And he knew that Mo Jinnan would be happy to hear about his marriage.

Well, soon Mo Jiang would realize that it was his wishful thinking.

After coming from the meeting, Mo Jiang went to reveal the news of his marriage to Mo Jin and Mo Jiang and as expected, Mo Jin disapproved of it.

"What? Who is she? What is her background? How can you marry someone like that? Why can you not get my approval?"

Mo Jiang snorted. "She is my wife and that is her background. Besides, I don't think I need to ask for someone's approval whose own marriage was a huge failure."

"Jiang!" Mo Jin roared hearing the audacity of his son. "Don't forget I am your father. I have a right to make an important decision in your life!"

"I don't remember I have given this authority to you."

"You…" Mo Jin's blood boiled upon seeing that his son was getting out of his control.

"Enough, I just wanted to inform you and I did that. If you have some work, then please…" Mo Jiang showed Mo Jin the way out of his office.

Mo Jin's disapproval towards Mo Jiang wasn't unexpected for him. Well, he didn't expect much from Mo Jin because Mo Jin never cared for it. And the same thing happened; Mo Jian stormed off from there with a loud 'thud' sound of the door closing behind him.

Mo Jiang smiled as there was a tiny part in his heart hoping for Mo Jin's approval but the reality s.u.c.k.e.d.

"I disapprove of it as well!" Mo Jiang then heard Mo Jinnan's voice who was standing there silently until now.

Mo Jiang looked at him stunned. This was not what he had expected.

"What did you just say?" Mo Jiang asked again.

"I do not approve of your marriage." Mo Jinnan firmly said, looking into Mo Jiang's eyes.

"Jinnan, you have met Liu Juan, right?" Mo Jiang asked. It seemed that he had misunderstood Liu Juan in some way.

"I have met her and I know her very well." Mo Jinnan replied with a smirk.

"Jinnan! Liu Juan is my wife now." The way Mo Jinnan said that didn't seem to be a good intention. Since Mo Jiang had married Liu Juan, he wouldn't allow anyone to disrespect his wife, even when the person would be his younger brother.

However, Mo Jinnan wasn't affected by Mo Jiang's warning. He shrugged "So what? It doesn't change her past, did it?"

Although Mo Jiang wanted Mo Jinnan to stay away from all the dangerous activities of the underworld, it didn't mean that Mo Jinnan listened to Mo Jiang's instructions all the time.

"How do you know about her? I want you to stay from all these things, don't I?" Mo Jiang asked angrily. 

"That's not the point here. I want you to stay away from her." Mo Jinnan ordered Mo Jiang sternly.

"And what if I won't?" Mo Jiang asked in a challenging manner.

It was always like this: Mo Jiang commanded and Mo Jinnan followed it, and not the other way round.

"Then I think you will lose your brother. It should either be me or her, your choice."

"Mo Jinnan!" Mo Jiang roared as he couldn't believe what he had heard.

"Well, it seems like that I got my answer." Mo Jinnan shrugged unaffectedly and walked away from the office but…

"Stop right there!" Mo Jiang ordered but this time, Mo Jinnan didn't listen to him and walked away.

Meanwhile, Liu Juan was very excited to start her new blissful life. She was still feeling like it was all a dream she had yet to wake up from. Now she had a husband, a person on whom she could rely for the rest of her life. That meant that from now onwards, there wouldn't be any struggle in her life.

Now she didn't care if it was a dream or a reality, she just wanted to live it.

Since tonight was their wedding night, Liu Juan wanted to make it special. 

Thus, she immediately got herself busy decorating her home while ordering Mo Jiang's favorite dinner for their candlelight dinner.

It was the first time that Liu Juan didn't realize when the sun had set in the sky. When she saw it was about time for Mo Jiang to come home, she immediately rushed to have a bath and dressed herself up beautifully.

However soon, when she saw herself without clothes, her confidence to be a beautiful wife in front of her husband shook.
