Chapter 264 - Wedding Night (Part-2)

There were many scars on Liu Juan's body along with the absence of her right leg as she removed the artificial leg.

She never cared for her body as she always found it impure and now she felt that her body was looking hideous.

Every married couple got physically intimate,  and so would she and Mo Jiang be soon. She loved him and she didn't want to be unfair to him in their marriage because of her past. Thus, she was preparing herself for their wedding night but how could she…

She immediately covered herself with her clothes and her mind promptly started thinking of an excuse  to postpone their wedding night.

She felt ashamed to be like this in front of Mo Jiang.

Everything was ready, and Liu Juan was nervously waiting for Mo Jiang. As time passed, Liu Juan's mind had stopped working as she couldn't think of any valid excuse yet.

In the blink of an eye, the time passed and midnight arrived but Mo Jiang was nowhere to be seen.

He never came late then what happened today?

Instantly, her nervous mind switched into a worried mode.

She called him but his phone was switched off. She called his office but they said that Mo Jiang had already left a long time ago.

Liu Juan didn't know anyone else except Mo Jiang and Mo Jinnan?

Yes, Mo Jinnan.

She called him but his phone was also switched off.

She wanted to go to find Mo Jiang but she didn't know where to go as Mo Jiang never told her anything about the place of his underworld business.

Somehow, she found Si Li's phone number but he was not picking up her call.

What was happening?

Where did everyone go?

Did something happen to Mo Jiang?

It was the first time that Liu Juan felt utterly helpless.

Whereas, far away in an abandoned building, screams of agony were heard every now and then.

Although Mo Jinnan left without answering Mo Jiang's question, Mo Jiang didn't leave this matter.

It was not easy to get information about Liu Juan's past so how did Mo Jinnan know about her?

If he didn't take the help of Si Li or his men, then who was the one to help him?

Mo Jinnan refused to say a word, but Mo Jiang had many other ways to make him speak.

Si Li's men had been torturing Mo Jinnan while Mo Jiang and Si Li stood outside waiting for Mo Jinnan to speak but the Young Master of the Mo Family didn't have any plans to give up so easily, nor did Mo Jiang. Thus, with every passing minute, the torture on Mo Jinnan was increasing and so were his screams.

"AHHHHH…." A terrified cry escaped from Mo Jinnan as the electric shock was given to him.

And his legs finally gave up and he fell on his knees, his hands were tied  with chains on either side of him. 

But Si Li's men didn't give up and continued to beat Mo Jinnan up.

He wanted to tear his eyes away and wanted to stop all these things but it would show his weakness, hence, he continued to watch the miserable condition of his brother.

However, Si Li couldn't see all these things "Stop! Can't you see that he is passed out?" Si Li shouted at his men.

Indeed, Mo Jinnan had lost his consciousness. However, since when did Si Li's men care about the person whom they beat up?

As it was normal for a person to lose his consciousness and then his life under constant torture.

"Take him out right now!" Si Li ordered without waiting to hear Mo Jiang's opinion.

Si Li's men threw the rods and immediately released Mo Jinnan from chains. After all, he was Mo Jiang's brother.

"Is It really necessary? He is your brother, damn it!" Si Li snarled at Mo Jiang.

"If Si Yan would be in his place, would you leave him? Mo Jiang asked back and instantly Si Li's mouth shut up.

"I accept the fact that he becomes handicap rather than the fact he is killed by my enemies. Tell me, Li,  is it very hard to live a life where you don't have to worry about anything?" Mo Jiang finally tore his eyes away from Mo Jinnan when he was taken away by Si Li's men to the hospital.

Alas! She was not here.

This was the first time that Mo Jiang missed his mother dearly.

It was 3 am in the morning when Mo Jiang returned home after making sure that Mo Jinnan was alright.

And as soon as he parked his car in the garage, a figure dashed towards him.

He stepped back because of a sudden jump of his wife on him but he immediately caught her in his arms.

"Where were you? I was worried to death. Can't you give me a call?" There were tears in Liu Juan's eyes as she was tentatively looking him up and down to make sure he was alright.

"I am sorry. Some important work took a lot of time." Mo Jiang apologetically looked at her while wiping her tears which came every now and then.

"Is it more important than me that you forgot to inform me?" Liu Juan's grievance asked to which Mo Jiang just smiled and hugged her in return.
