Chapter 269 - Acceptance (Part-3)

Liu Juan looked at Mo Jiang in shock. 

She didn't know if she should be happy that Mo Jiang was letting her go or be sad?

She didn't know but she felt empty in her heart.

Mo Jiang had taken a step to take their relationship further but she…

"Get out!" Liu Juan leapt up under his roar.

Liu Juan stepped out of his room and Mo Jiang shut the door on her face.

Her heart sank seeing his indifferent attitude but she was the one who brought herself this situation upon herself.

Perhaps, she shouldn't have married him.

Liu Juan came back to her room, and then she heard the sound of a door opening and closing followed by the sound of a car driving away.

Mo Jiang left.

Did he go to a bar again?

He must have been hurt. He always treated her well but what did she do to him?

Liu Juan tossed and turned on the bed and by the time drowsiness overlapped her, her nightmare again came around to haunt her.

"No! No! Please don't do this! I beg you…Let me go….Help! Help!"

Her hands were roaming on the other side of the bed to get the familiar warmth and security which could help her to bring her out of this nightmare but there was no one.

Thus, she continued to suffer all night.

On the other side of the city, in a bar, a cheerful atmosphere was created.

"I can't believe you accepted her. How could you?" Si Li asked in stupefaction.

"She loves big brother, how can I not accept her?" Mo Jinnan asked back.

"There is no love between me and her." Mo Jiang said in a dull tone as he walked towards them.

"A whiskey for me." Mo Jiang ordered a bartender.

Mo Jinnan and Si Li were startled for a second and then exchanged a look.

"Brother, what are you doing here?" Mo Jinnan asked while Si Li was also looking at him with prying eyes.

However, at that moment, a call came and Si Li had to leave the brothers behind.

Mo Jinnan continued to look questionly at Mo Jiang but Mo Jiang didn't deign to reply.

Nevertheless, Mo Jinnan continued to ask, "Did you fight with Liu Juan?"

"Jinnan, don't get involved in my matters." Mo Jiang was being Mo Jiang, never wanted to trouble his brother.

Fortunately, Mo Jinnan understood this intention of his brother and didn't get hurt hearing his indifference tone.

"Alright, I won't get involved in your matter but let Liu Juan help you. After all, she is your wife." Mo Jinnan said as a matter-of-fact which stunned Mo Jiang.

In the morning, Mo Jinnan revealed his thought that he hated Liu Juan for taking all the attention of Mo Jiang and now he was taking her side.

Did Liu Juan say something to Mo Jinnan?

"Did Liu Juan come to meet you?" Mo Jiang asked. Actually, he had the same question in the morning, but the problem had been solved between him and Mo Jinnan, so he didn't bother to ask.

"Hmm…She came last night to the Old Mansion." Mo Jinnan replied.

"What did she say to you?" Mo Jiang asked with intrigue.

"Nothing…" Hearing this word, Mo Jiang was normal but when he heard the next words, he quivered, "She begged me for your happiness."

Mo Jinnan told him all the things that had happened the previous night.

"Brother, I know about all the sacrifices you are making alone, all by yourself but sometimes, you need to take someone's help. Don't suffer alone. Even though I hate her and would continue to do so but let her help you. She really loves you."

Mo Jinnan said those words and left taking his coat in his hand.

While, Mo Jiang sat there in daze. When Liu Juan rejected him because of her past, he was angry at her and thought that perhaps, she didn't love him like she always claimed to do so.

Otherwise, how could her trauma for her past have more effect than her love for him?

Her past experience made her feel dirty and ugly and further more, after their marriage when he was immersed in his own problem and didn't give attention to her that was why she started felt that she didn't deserve him.

It seemed that he again failed to understand her.

He thought that if he married her and lived a normal life, everything would be perfect but he forgot that she didn't have a normal childhood.

Many thoughts were roaming in his mind and after a while, he managed to calm down.

He picked up his phone and made a call.

"Hello, I need to meet you now."

Afterward, Mo Jiang dr.a.p.ed his coat over his forearm and left the bar.

Whereas, Liu Juan didn't know when the nightmare had gone.

The next morning, the sky turned gloomy with the gray clouds covering the sun. The entire city Z was damp with heavy rainfall. The cold chilly breeze sent shivers down everyone's spines that they couldn't help but wrap their coats tightly around them.

Aroma's Mansion was very quiet. The clashing sound of rain drops on the glass panes was heard and the chilly breeze invaded the interiors through the open windows which made  Liu Juan's body shiver.

She willed her body to duck under the blanket but she couldn't. Even after trying a few times, she failed to do so.

Groaning, she opened her drowsy  eyes and found someone's hand on her waist.

She immediately turned over and Mo Jiang's handsome face came in front of her.
