Chapter 290 - Wedding (Part-4)

"Jiang, where are you taking me? Why did you cover my eyes?" Liu Juan impatiently asked.

"Can't you sit quietly for a while? I will tell you once we reach there. Why are you so impatient? Now sit quietly and let me drive peacefully. Otherwise, we would be late." Mo Jiang lectured her and sped up.

"But if you tell me now I won't be so impatient to know." Liu Juan aggressively said.

"Didn't you hear a word called 'surprise' ? It is a surprise for you. If I tell you now, what would be a surprise left for you?"

Liu Juan knew what he was saying made sense but she still couldn't control her patience level. After all, it was the first time that someone was giving her a surprise so she was very excited to see it.

"Okay. Can you drive fast? I won't have to wait for so long in that case." Liu Juan pouted.

Mo Jiang shook his head with a smile on his lips. Liu Juan had turned cheerful now as if she had nothing to worry about in this world.

He was happy that she had overcome her past and excited as well to see her reaction to the wedding he had planned for them.

With that, he stepped on the brakes to speed up further.

Soon after, Mo Jiang reached their destiny. He stopped the car in front of their new villa.

A big and beautifully designed nameplate was fixed on the side of the gate, in front of the villa. 

'Juan's Villa.' Those were the words that were imprinted on it gracefully.

"We are here." Mo Jiang said and removed the blindfold from her eyes. She opened her eyes and the glimmer of sunlight hit her eyes which made her frown and she closed her eyes in the reflection. 

It took her time to adjust to the beam of light and then she opened her eyes again slowly.

The first thing she saw was an unfamiliar villa. 

'This is not the Aroma Mansion!' She thought to herself but then her eyes widened upon seeing her name imprinted on the nameplate.

"This…" Liu Juan immediately turned to look at Mo Jiang who gave her a smile in return and got down from the car without a word.

Liu Juan was still confused until the door of her side of the car opened.

"Come…" Mo Jiang extended his hands towards her which she accepted softly. 

She stepped down and asked. "This villa--"

Before she could ask, he had already answered. "This is my wedding gift to you. Our new villa."

Mo Jiang was expecting an ear-deafening scream, a hug, or a kiss, etc...etc to express her excitement but Alas! He heard something unusual.

"You are lying." Liu Juan uttered those words in disbelief.

"What?" Mo Jiang asked in confusion. 

Did he hear right?

"Yes. you are lying, right?" Liu Juan asked again as she still refused to believe that this huge villa was her wedding gift.

This was the thing that she couldn't dare to dream of.

Meanwhile, it took a second for Mo Jiang to realize the problem. "You really don't have trust in me anymore, do you?" Mo Jiang said and held her hand and pulled her to walk into the villa.

It would be better to show her. Otherwise, she wouldn't believe him.

The villa was surrounded by big trees with a beautiful garden in front of the villa where an artificial lake was also made at the center of the garden.

Fish of different colors were swimming inside the lake.

It was a beautiful scenery that Liu Juan felt more disbelieved towards Mo Jiang.

He must be lying, right?

How could such a beautiful villa be hers?

No this is not true.

Mo Jiang didn't bother to explain anything to her anymore and pulled her inside the villa.

The decor inside the villa was simple and similar to the Aroma Mansion as Liu Juan liked it but the whole villa was additionally decorated with white flowers.

"Welcome, Mr. and Mrs. Mo." An old-aged woman greeted the couple.

Liu Juan noticed the woman was the same housekeeper who used totake care of Mo Jiang's secret villa. Liu Juan had met the woman when she had gone to live with Mo Jiang after being in partnership with him.

But what was she doing here?

Mo Jiang nodded and turned to Liu Juan. He said. "Your wedding gown is upstairs. Go and get ready. Aunty Wa will help you."

Liu Juan's eyes widened so much that her sockets could be popped out. She didn't hear the words after the words 'your wedding gown'.

She was still busy processing the words, 'wedding gown'.

"Juan, did you hear me?" Mo Jiang shook her upon seeing no response from her.

He knew what he had planned must be too much for her but he didn't want to delay their wedding.

"W-W-Wedding gown?" Liu Juan asked with a stutter.

"Yes, wedding gown." Mo Jiang calmly answered.

"B-But Why do I have to we-wear a wedding gown?"

"Did I not mention early that this house is your wedding gift from me? So we should have a wedding ceremony."

Liu Juan shook inwardly and her heartbeats started pounding wildly inside her c.h.e.s.t such that she could hear her heartbeats loudly and clearly.

"Our wedding ceremony?" Liu Juan still asked in disbelief.

"Hmm...Our wedding ceremony." Mo Jiang replied with a smile.
