The sounds of a series of gunshots were heard, along with the sounds of explosions.

Song Tianxin was taken aback when she heard it. She didn't have any energy because it had been several days since she had eaten anything. Who, after all, would look after a dying person?

But when she heard gunshots, a ray of hope entered her heart. Mo Jinnan might have come for her.

Her frail body received energy to move and stand up next to the window, which was the only source of light she had.

Song Tianxin was curious about what was going on outside.

Was it really Mo Jinnan or someone else?

But before she could see, the door to the room where she was kept swung open unexpectedly. The man entered the room. Song Tianxin had no idea what his name was, but she knew he was the leader of the other men here.

He dragged her away without saying anything.

She wanted to scream but couldn't because her mouth was covered and her hands were tied. She struggled to break free from his grip, and as a result, he issued her a warning. "With one sound, you'll be dead." He held a gun to her head, causing her to freeze.

The sudden light caused her eyes to close in reflection as he led her out of the room. Her eyes had not seen the light in the previous thirty days. Making her almost fall, but the man's grip on her arm was so tight that she had to walk continuously. His grip would undoubtedly cause bruises.

But did it matter?

He kept dragging her towards the backside. She, on the other hand, was sensed Mo Jinnan's presence.

He had come to save her.

Relief tears streamed down her cheeks, but they were quickly replaced by panic tears.

As a result, he slapped her and threw her inside the van, closing the door behind her. He had to leave before Mo Jinnan found her, but Mo Jinnan arrived before the man could start his van.

Mo Jinnan fired at the man right away, but he moved away, causing the van's windshield to shatter.

But he didn't stop there, and he kept firing at him.

Song Tianxin whinnied as she fell on her face, but the pain was short-lived when the van door opened again and Mo Jinnan's face appeared in front of her.

Song Tianxin's tears resurfaced. As tears welled up in her eyes, her vision became blurry.

Mo Jinnan's heart ached as she noticed the numerous bruises on her body. Her face was pale, and she had slimmed down.

Mo Jinnan's bullets struck the man in his arm, giving him enough time to open the door, but the man was Si Li's special trained man, who could not be taken down easily.  In a reflection, he fired up at Mo Jinnan.

Mo Jinnan's focus was on Song Tianxin, and as a result, he did not notice and a bullet struck his shoulders.

Song Tianxin screamed in agony, but her screams were muffled because her mouth was covered. Mo Jinnan's gun fell from his grasp.

But this was not enough.

"Bang!"

One more bullet struck his thɨġh, he collapsed on to knees.

As more men approached him and punched him in the face, he was completely defeated.

Mo Jinnan realized that he had fallen into a trap.

He planned to enter from the backside while Michael and his men dealt from the front side.

But who knew they'd bring Song Tianxin here to trap him?

Si Li's men, as expected, brought out Song Tianxin to entice him. They caught him through CCTV and immediately Song Tianxin here.

Mo Jinnan brought so many men that they couldn't be stopped. Perhaps all of Si Li's men would be killed today. Fortunate the leader of the men had Mo Jinnan's weakness in their hands, Song Tianxin, which helped them to make Mo Jinnan fall into their trap.

He held Mo Jinnan through his collar and sneered. "If I hadn't gotten boss's order not to do anything to both of you, I would have killed you and your girlfriend." He then dragged him back to the first side, where Michael's men continued to fire on him.

Many of his men had died as a result of the sudden attack.

Song Tianxin wanted to go after Mo Jinnan but was stopped by one of Si Li's men.

They took her back to the room where she had been kept.

This place was an abandoned building outskirt of City B.  The leaders dragged Mo Jinnan up to the top roof and pushed him over on the edge.

"Put your gun down or your man will be killed." The leader motioned at Mo Jinnan and yelled.

The gunshots had stopped, but only for a minute before it resumed at Si Li's men.
