Chapter 328 - Attack(Part-1)

"Has anyone ever told you that you are extremely cruel?" Mo Jiang asked.

"Hmm…Not that I could recall but I don't need anyone to say that to me.  am aware that I am cruel." Mo Jiang's taunt was gladly accepted by Si Li.

Mo Jiang gave him a sidelong glance.

"Let's get back to bed. It is not good for you to stand so long." Si Li suggested.

"I am serious, Li. I need to find her. She can't leave me I know her."  In a pleading tone, Mo Jiang said.

Mo Jiang was well aware that the power he once possessed had vanished.

"If you are sure that she is still alive  then there is nothing wrong with waiting for a few more days." Si Li said as he turned to walk over to the couch.

"Will you wait if your wife is in danger?" Mo Jiang turned to ask.

Si Li smiled and stated the obvious. "I would never have allowed anything bad to happen to her in the first place."

Si Li's words made it clear that Mo Jiang had failed to save his wife and family.

Mo Jiang clenched his fists in rage, not at Si Li, but at himself.

Si Li was right; he did not protect Liu Juan well. He should have known Liu Juan would do anything for Liu Ruolan, despite the fact that Liu Ruolan had repeatedly betrayed her.

Many times, Mo Jiang was unsure whether he should be angry at himself or at Liu Juan.

Knowing Mo Jiang's condition, Si Li did not being hard on him and said. "I know you want to find Liu Juan as soon as possible but keep in mind that you will have to fight against Markus, who will not be an easy opponent. You wouldn't be here if he was. So get some rest and train yourself before you'll be ready to fight him."

At the time, Mo Jiang's emotions were complicated. Nevertheless, he nodded because what Si Li was true.

Si Li was always apathetic and cruel perhaps that was why his wife was never in danger like Liu Juan was now.

"You have mentioned that your wife is pregnant. Aren't you concerned about her being alone? Based on my experience, I recommend that you return to the woman and stay with her; otherwise, best wishes." Mo Jiang wished him well and then returned to his bed to rest.

"Don't worry, my lady is far more rational than anyone else." Si Li boasted confidently about his woman but he had no idea his relationship with her was in jeopardy.

He continued. "Anyway, I'm considering returning. I'll be back soon, but in the meantime, get some rest if you really want to get your wife back. Also, pay attention to dctor's advice; otherwise, you're always welcome to stay here forever.

"The door is in that direction." Mo Jiang stated that he was uninterested in hearing Si Li's lecture.

Si Li stared at him for a minute before helplessly shaking his head and walking out of the hospital.

Despite the fact that he didn't have to say it, he had instructed Dr. Mu to keep a close eye on Mo Jiang's condition before leaving.

Si Li stepped outside and turned on his phone which had been switched off for the last few days.

As soon as he switched it on. A slew of notifications popped up. Many missed calls came from his home and team, but only one call caught his attention, and it came today.

He immediately dialed back, and the call was quickly connected. "What happened?" Si Li asked stonily.

"Mo Jiang has come to get his girlfriend." The man on the other end of the line spoke quickly. He continued. "He has returned with a larger force of men this time. I'm not sure where he got so many men."

Si Li remembered that the one-month deadline had passed. Mo Jinnan wouldn't have found anything about Liu Juan that was why he came to attack his men to save Song Tainxin. 

"Stay back, do not do anything to him. I repeat, do not do anything to him, understand?" Si Li said hastily.

"If we do nothing, all of our men will be killed. He bought more men this time. We must either fight or use Song Tianxin. It's entirely up to you."

"Damn it!" Si Li cursed hearing the report. 

Where did Mo Jinnan get this additional manpower from?

"Fight but don't hurt anything to Song Tianxin and Mo Jinnan. I am coming." Si Li hung up and sped up all the way to where Song Tianxin was being held.

Still, it would take a few hours for him to reach there.

After being unsuccessful to find anything about Liu Juan except for the fact Liu Juan had a twin sister. Even it was not confirmed. Mo Jinnan asked for Michael's help to rescue Song Tianxin who was kidnapped by Si Li's men.

Michael, being Mo Jiang's man, agreed to help him, and soon, he and his men reached Country X with Mo Jinnan.

Still, it took a day to find the place where Song Tianxin was

Whereas, Si Li's men got the instruction to kill Song Tianxin at the end of the thirtieth day unless they got different instruction from Si Li.

Since it was the last day, Si Li's men were prepared to kill Song Tianxin.

Even Song Tianxin, who was crying and screaming since she was brought here, had turned quiet today.

Song Tianxin's hands were tied up on her backside and a tab was pasted over her mouth.

Her tears had dried up that even when she had from the men's saying that they were going to kill her tonight if Mo Jinnan would not show up here. Not a drop of tear fell from her eyes hearing the news of her death.

So many days had passed and Mo Jinnan did not come up in search of her so why would he come now?

And their breaking relationship would break completely.

Song Tianxin had lost all her hopes, but all of sudden, she was hearing the sound of gunshots.
