Chapter 397 - The Cloud City

Lory could feel the sudden changed on Zhao Li Xin's behavior, Lory tightens her grip on Zhao Li Xin's hand she can't let Zhao Li Xin go berserk when they just got in. fortunately, the young man didn't realize the viciousness in Zhao Li Xin's eyes.

"This is your identification, don't lose it or you will be considered as a spy, follow me I will show you where you live!" he turns around without waiting for Zhao Li Xin and Lory. he took them to the small courtyard not far from the main building, Nan Yu Qi told him to gives this new disciple a nice place to live since his talent is good. The young man feel rather envy because Zhao Li Xin has a better place than him when he just arrived in the cloud city.

When he said small, it is really small, is a tiny courtyard with a small front yard with well on the corner and small bench right in front of their room. and the bedroom is smaller than personal maid room at Zhao Li Xin manor with old wooden furniture but thankfully the place is clean and neat so Lory have no complaint but Zhao Li Xin...if not because Lory keep comforting him with her hand Zhao Li Xin would burn this place to the ground 

'How dare they let his princess lives in this dog caged!'

Meanwhile, Lory thought is 'Not bad…small, but is not bad' she enters the room calmly. This place is a lot better than the shady motel she used to live was, that place is so dirty she ends up by new sheet and blanket to cover the bed. Lory ignore Girsha as she was busy brew herself a warm tea and take out a three-tier box dumpling on the table, Lory is fae from worry, Zhao Li Xin ached when he see Lory unbothered face.

Lory holds his hand as he leads him to sit on the small round table "Here I got your favorite wine we also have pork and vegetable dumpling" Lory take out the flask wine and clean plate and chopstick from her spatial ring "Be patient a little after we got the ancient record we will leave this place" she pours Zhao Li Xin wine to calm him down.

Zhao Li Xin sigh as he lifts the winecup and takes a sip, his princess seems misunderstood, It is not him he worries about.

Lory leisurely drinks her tea seemingly unnoticed "Really?" she looks around her then she casually shrugs her shoulder "Is not that bad" she honestly said.

"Offended I supposed, for killing their talented daughter" Zhao Li Xin smirked as he sips his wine elegantly.

Lory put down her teacup then sighs "Well I killed their daughter so it's expected they would angry with me" Lory noted herself to be extra careful.

"I don't think they were mad for sentimental reason, afterall when Nan Yu Wei dies her step sister Nan Yu Qi position raised tremendously, I don't think everyone in Nan family would hate you"

"Ahh…Xie Xiu Wei also dead isn't it, what do you think about the situation?" Lory make naughty smiles.

"It wouldn't be peaceful…." His wicked smiles hide behind the winecup but Lory could see Zhao Li Xin think the same thing as her. Lory sips her tea as she smiles from excitement.
