Chapter 399 - The Feud Inside The Society

Poor Zhao Li Xin he doesn't know he was slander by his owned wife, Lory used Zhao Li Xin to make her look stupid and pitiful and so the two maids lose their guard completely and they begin to blabber their mouth just like broken dam while Lory listening to them with great enthusiast and who knows these two lowly maids have a lot thing to say.

Lory back to her room with bouncing steps is not so bad for a day job she thought as she enters her small room and plops on the small bed and Girsha immerged from her c.h.e.s.t, as usual, the white orbs transform into a bird and land on the bedside.

[Humm…] Lory hummed. "Let's killed them all!" Zhao Li Xin suddenly barged in.

Lory raised half her body as she tilted her head with smiles on her face she greets her grumpy husband "Welcome back darling!"

Zhao Li Xin's face remains pouting, he took a long stride to the bed then he pushes Lory on the side because the bed is too small she has to turn her body to the side and Girsha flew to the table. Lory used her arm to hold her head while her other hand patted Zhao Li Xin's c.h.e.s.t.

"What's wrong, are they making hard on you?" 

Zhao Li Xin let out a long exhale "They keep talking to me…" he said with great annoyance on his face.

When he becomes the weak sixth prince everyone ignored him and talk behind his back which he doesn't care, the Emperor and his supposed to be mother and brother mocked him and degrading him that also not a problem, he also numb from the beating and hitting what he can't stand is when people force him to interact with them. 

Zhao Li Xin is not people person he thought most people in the world is a hassle other than people that give him benefit he find it unnecessary to involved with them, the only person he can feel attachment is Lory other than her Zhao Li Xin feel hard to get close even when he pretends.

Lory didn't know should she laugh at him or sorry for him, she rests her head on her c.h.e.s.t as she wrapped her hand around his waist "You working hard" she rubs her cheek on his c.h.e.s.t to comfort him.

His upset feeling gradually dissipated when Lory holds him and his mood immediately lifted. Zhao Li Xin stroked her head and he inhaled her faint scent "And what are you doing today, don't tell me you stay in the room quietly"

"I washing clothes…"Lory chuckles.

"What clothes?" he asked confusedly.

"Do You know the Xie and the Chen family is not get along?" Lory abruptly said.

"That's to be expected," said Zhao Li Xin with no surprise.

"And do you know Chen Hua Yin is very talented even the Xie family feel threatened by him" Lory rest her chin on Zhao Li Xin's c.h.e.s.t as she stared at Zhao Li Xin excitedly.

"That…I don't know…how do you know about this?" Zhao Li Xin was stunned, his spy never passes this information before.

Lory grinned widely "I met with the maid from the Chen family, and boy….they really like to talk" Lory roll her eyes then she continues "There is this guy Xie Hua Ling who has a close relationship with Chen Yi Suan and they supposed to be officially engaged when Chen Yi Suan reach fifteen but suddenly the Xie family eyeing Nan Yu Qi and try to arranged engagement between Xie Hua Ling and Nan Yu Qi"

"Oh…"Zhao Li Xin becomes interested suddenly an idea dawned to him.

"The Chen must be upset with this" Zhao Li Xin murmured.

"They furious" Lory raised his brows "Chen Hu Yin is taking side with Xie Xian Zi to take down Xie Hua Ling, I don't know how Nan family and Xie Hua Ling faction will react with this" Lory lean her back as she used Zhao Li Xin arm as a pillow, she rubbed her wrist and her appearance back to normal then she notices Zhao Li Xin was quiet all this time.

"Hey what are you thinking" she nudged Zao Li Xin waist.

He shifts his glance and he sees the beautiful pale face staring back at him, her purple eyes sparkle like a gemstone under the sunlight, he could never be bored gazing to her eyes, he shifts his body to the side as he pulls her closer until there's no space between them, Even though Zhao Li Xin still on his disguised but it didn't change the fact her heartbeat rapidly whenever he stares at her and her cheeks suddenly feel hot.

"What?" she becomes meek under his gaze.

Zhao Li Xin fondly smiles at her "The Mo family…..I wonder how the Mo family involved in this situation" he said in indulgence even though he just said something dreadful.

"You think the Mo family involved with this?" Lory's big eyes widened make her eyes, even bigger than before just like a surprised cat, in Zhao Li Xin's head he thought his princess is so adorable it make him feel hurt. 

"It would be weird if Mo family didn't have involvement in this situation," he said softly as he c.a.r.e.s.ses Lory plump lips with his thumbs, once again is contradict his explanation of how dire the situation inside the Sacred Mountain Peak. If The three powerful family who was the pillar of the Sacred Mountain Peak fight with each other, who knows what ends come to this place but certainly nothing is good for them.

"By the way how you make the two stranger maids talking, they should know not to share their master secret isn't it?" this is what baffled Zhao Li Xin the most.

"Oh, that…" Lory giggles softly, her sweet sounds give tickles to his heart he suddenly has the urged to kiss her but Lory next words surprised him, Lory said with sweet smiles "Because I'm a wasted, stupid and ugly they thought I'm harmless"

Zhao Li Xin frown because he can't relate, Stupid and ugly with the cunning goddess in front of him. If Lory ugly there would be no beautiful woman in the world, at least that Zhao Li Xin thought.

"They also feel bad because my husband bullied me" Lory pretend to be sad as she pouted her lips.

"The husband? Is that supposed to be me?" He narrowed his eyes.

Lory nods her head "They also pity me because soon or later my husband will throw me away…" Lory sighs deeply as she teased him further.

He knew Lory is joking with him nonetheless, it makes him silent for a second then she realizes his Princess slandered him to gain their pity and make them talk, he doesn't know there is such method but still, it make him annoyed "You make them think I'm gonna throw you away" he stares at her dangerously.

Lory suddenly feel she's in danger "Yes…" she nervously replied.

"You make them think I bullied you?" his stares git deepen.

"Hehe…yeah" her heart beating like a drum as Zhao Li Xin's face getting closer.

"So you used me?" 

"Kinda…." She averts her gaze.

"I think I have to bully you for real…" suddenly the shapeshifter spell on Zhao Li Xin wears off and he returns to his heaven-defying beauty, Lory's heart stopped for a second when she sees his face.

"The spell is….Mmm!" Lory's words cuts in by Zhao Li Xin's kiss. She almost loses it but she pulls her face away from him "No, our relationship supposed to be bad if they heard anything no one believes my story again!" Lory make assumption Zhao Li Xin treat her like a maid and they not sharing a bed. 

Not just for her this story also good for Zhao Li Xin's reputation. If they knew he indulgence with a woman like her no one would take Zhao Li Xin seriously, for them a man who falls to deeply in love will not grow, a man should have big ambition if they want to reach the top, Lory who only a day in here understood this so that's why she make this lies.

"You right, we can't make any sounds…" he nods with understanding, Lory surprised she can be reason with Zhao Li Xin in this matter but she also slightly feel sad about it but then Zhao Li Xin raised her chin gently "Don't worry, I will do it slowly…" he said in solemn looks.
