184 Chapter 184: What A Move

She was sensing that it was about time to end the scene. Spencer stood up, holding Nathalia's hand, and said, "You know what my father is like. Don't take him too seriously. Shall we go home?"

Nathalia nodded with a smile. "Thanks, Spencer, and yes, we shall."

One hand around Nathalia's shoulder and the other in his pocket, Spencer led Nathalia away, with everyone watching.

Though the journalists were disappointed, there was nothing else they could do but apologize to Curt and leave.

As they were walking out of the door awkwardly and cheerlessly, they heard a provocative moaning sound from next door. Everyone's face lit up, and all turned to look. The door was ajar.

Out of curiosity and as if by mutual understanding, the journalists tip-toed towards the door. One of them pushed the door open gently to unveil the most astonishing scene. Everyone gasped.

"My god! It's Frank Carter..."

"What the hell?!"

Frank Carter was moaning with delirious pleasure, a man was on top of him, both naked, in the process of sexual intercourse, oblivious to the spectators.

The flashlights and exclaiming finally awakened, Frank. He turned around and pushed the guy away, quickly pulled the blanket to cover his nakedness. "What the fuck?! Get out! Get out!" He shouted.

The journalists were thrilled.

"Frank Carter is into men. Wow!"

"Aren't you also into women? Are you bisexual?"

"You prefer down under, don't you? Haha. My god."

"How do you feel now, Frank Carter?"

"We've caught you at the best moment."

This will definitely go big! It will hit for sure. Who would have expected?! We are going to shock the public. The journalists thought excitedly, forgetting who it was that sent them here.

Frank was utterly shocked and confused. What's happened? I'm supposed to be waiting for Curt Davidson here. I fell asleep. Yes. I fell asleep while waiting. This must be a nightmare. I must be dreaming. He tried to recall and analyze.

However, the cries and shouts of astonishment around him and the pain between his bum and legs were telling him that it was not a dream.

Nathalia stared at the screen, utterly shocked. Seeing Frank's humiliated face, almost breaking down, she wondered who did it. This is extreme. Wow. What a move! Who can it be?

Nathalia had left early with Spencer and didn't see it live. It was just within an hour, and it was already on the news. She was so shocked that she couldn't utter a word.

Frank Carter planned to sell his daughter, Nathalia, to Curt Davidson but was schemed against instead, falling into Curt's trap.

Spencer patted Nathalia's shoulder gently, trying to cheer her up, yet somehow Nathalia felt her heart heavy as if something bad was going to happen.

As expected, before long, the whole town was talking about and laughing at Frank Carter, the humiliating, notorious Frank Carter.

All his assets were auctioned and sold. He had become nobody with nothing, a homeless, an outcast, a joke. No one pitied him. Everyone despised him.

Even Nathalia was talked about. People would point at her and whisper, "That's Frank Carter's daughter." However, as usual, Nathalia paid no attention to them as if it had nothing to do with her. Spencer, on the other hand, was worried and insisted on being Nathalia's private driver, no matter how busy he was.

As soon as Nathalia came out of the campus, she spotted the tall, handsome figure leaning against the Porsche. He was like a magnet. All the eyes fell on him.

Spencer's face lit up when he saw Nathalia. He opened his arms to welcome her, pecked on her forehead affectionately, then opened the door for her. Loving and gentle. Some girls screamed with excitement as they watched.

Nathalia looked out of the window at the sunlight through the leaves of the trees. She shook her head and said, "There's no need to pick me up."

Startled, Spencer glanced at her and asked, "Why? I want to. It's a pleasure to pick up my girlfriend, and it's my right, isn't it?"

Nathalia pouted her lips slightly, "Didn't you see the crowds of people watching us? You are causing traffic jams every time you show up. There will be a complaint soon." Spencer lifted his eyebrows and said cheekily, "Who will complain? The principle? Teachers? Students? I thought they are very happy to see me, aren't they?"

"Huh. Such a narcissist you are." Nathalia teased.

"Oh, I see, you are jealous, aren't you?" Spencer laughed and pinched Nathalia's rosy cheek gently. She was blushing. "Can't I be jealous?" She retorted shyly. How the girls gazed at Spencer and screamed with excitement did make her feel a bit awkward. Though it didn't bother her that much, she wasn't happy about it.

"Of course you can. You are my girlfriend!" Spencer smiled, looking even more charming.

Nathalia glanced at him, embarrassedly. As she was about to say something, her phone rang.

"What? How come? The shares have been sold privately?"

She looked upset as she hung up. Spencer asked worriedly, "What's the matter?"

"Someone had bought off Frank Carter's 33% shares in private," Nathalia said furiously. How could it be allowed? It's supposed to be auctioned.

Spencer frowned, "In private? The bank won't say who bought it?" Normally it would follow the procedure, and the shares would be sold publicly. The buyer must be someone not to be underestimated as he bought it directly in private.

And the Davidsons had no ideas at all. It was strange.

Nathalia rubbed her temples. She was feeling a bit anxious. "Yeah. It sounds like it's someone influential. I wonder who it is." She was planning to mortgage The Trend and buy 15% of the shares so that she would own 30% of the total shares of the company, which meant she would be the shareholder with the most shares and naturally gain the management rights of the company.
