210 Chapter 210: Invited

Nathalia had always addressed Spencer with his name. It was the first time she called him intimately, which she was not used to.

"Why?" Nathalia pretended she didn't understand, but her cheeks were rosy red.

Spencer cuddled Nathalia from behind and demanded affectionately, "Call me honey again, please. Or I won't let you go."

Nathalia said no a few times before she had to give in, and in the softest voice, she said, "Honey, shall we go now?"

Spencer squeezed Nathalia cheerfully. "We shall, babe. I love the sound of 'honey," He grinned.

The ceremony was held in a grand five-star hotel. Many security guards were hired to keep order, and journalists and reporters from various newspapers and TV stations were invited. Distinguished guests, celebrities, influential businessmen, tycoons, successful entrepreneurs arrived gradually, walking down the red carpet, showered in the flashlights from the cameras.

Fancily decked out, Wendy Allen stepped out of a Benz and was quickly surrounded by journalists flashing their cameras on her.

"Miss Wendy Allen, what a surprise to see you here! I didn't expect that you would come and support Carter's Company."

As a new and internationally successful actress, Wendy had won herself a lot of attention and coverage on various media.

A young and gorgeous-looking man with piercing blue eyes accompanied Wendy. He was a French model who had just become popular a few months ago.

The journalists were very curious, but Wendy acted like nothing unusual. She let them take photos and ask questions.

"What's so surprising? I was invited to come, and I accepted the invitation." She said casually.

Invited? The journalists were excited to find out more.

"You were once dating Mr. Spencer Davidson, who later dated Miss Nathalia Carter. How do you feel about that?"

"Did you come here today as an irony?"

It was the day for Nathalia as she was to be the youngest president of an established influential company in the States. It was the subject most talked about in the business field recently.

Columns and articles about Nathalia's background, her family, her relationship with Ben and Spencer, her study, everything about her, had been circulating about.

However, as usual, Nathalia took no notice of it. She stayed at home pretty much all the time and made it impossible for anyone to interview her.

Today would be the journalists' only chance, and surely, no one wanted to miss it.

The crowd was shocked to hear such an answer. "Really?"

Does she like her? That's impossible. It was because of Nathalia Carter that Spencer Davidson dumped her.

So pretentious. No wonder she's a good actress. Huh.

The journalists refused to see the genuineness in Wendy's words. "You must be kidding, Miss Wendy Allen. It's alright, we understand how you feel. There's no need to pretend."

"You understand? Pretend?" Wendy was furious but dared not show it in public.

Just then, the familiar Porsche pulled over in a close distance, and someone exclaimed, "It looks like Spencer Davidson has just arrived."

Everyone turned to look, excited, and forgot about Wendy.

"The plate number doesn't look right, though." Someone squinting their eyes and said doubtfully.

"But who else drives a Porsche 911?" Someone else questioned. Everyone knew how expensive and rare the car was. As they were deciding, the driver got out of the car and went around to open the door. "Let's see who it is."

As soon as Spencer stepped out of the car, cameras came flying towards him, the female reporters screamed in excitement. "It IS Mr. Spencer Davidson! My god, he's soooo good-looking!"

"I can just look at him forever! Aww, I love him!"

"Isn't he gorgeous in that black suit?!"

"He's rich, successful, and dangerously good-looking! No one can beat Mr. Spencer Davidson."

Even some married ladies couldn't hide their adoration. "His eyes, my god! And his lips. Aww, I wonder what it feels like to kiss him."

"Haha. I wonder what your husband would think."

"I don't care. Mr. Spencer Davidson is single anyway. That's what matters."

"Well, he must have numerous girlfriends, and you won't be one of them."

"Wait, who is that?"

The talking suddenly came to a pause, and everyone watched quietly. Spencer turned around and extended his hand out. A stunning-looking girl took his hand and stepped out of the car. They looked into each other's eyes and smiled at each other lovingly.

One in black, the other in white, hand in hand, both incredibly good-looking, they were like a perfect circle of yin and yang. Their love and intimacy were too obvious for anyone to ignore.

"It's Nathalia Carter." Someone announced.

"The new president of Carter's Company, as well as the owner of The Trend."

"She's a top student at Queensland's University, too. She's not even twenty years old yet, or is just twenty."

Someone couldn't help feeling envious, "How can someone be so lucky?! I'm so jealous."

Perhaps some people were born to have everything, fortune, beauty, and the best boyfriend!

Someone retorted bitterly, "Lucky? Huh. Let's see. She abandoned her family. Let's see how long luck lasts for her."

The journalists were talking excitedly and hurried up to interview the couple. "Mr. Spencer Davidson and Miss Nathalia Carter, are you two back together?"

"I've heard rumors. Can you please verify them? Is it true that you are getting engaged?"

There have been too many rumors about these two. Some say they are back together. Some say they broke up again. None of the rumors has been proved.
