293 Chapter 293: This Is Outrageous

"What the hell are you doing? I feel hurt. Let go of me!" Anna screamed terrified.

Just then, Spencer came out, tidily dressed. Anna's face lit up at the sight of him, and waved at him, "Spencer, help me, please. She's hurting me!"

Spencer kicked her at her leg, angrily, "Fuck off!" She's set me up, bitch!

Anna lost balance and fell heavily onto the floor. She burst out sobbing.

Nathalia nodded at the bodyguards, who replied with a nod and went and grabbed Anna's arms, dragging her into the bedroom.

Watching Anna screaming and struggling like a madwoman, seeing the icy look on Nathalia's face, aunt Emma felt another shiver down her spine. She had not felt fear for a long time, and now the feeling was choking her.

"This is outrageous! This is not allowed! Someone come help!" She yelled at her bodyguards.

And within seconds, Nathalia's bodyguards and Emma's were in a violent fight. The journalists were shocked and excited, busy taking photos and videos.

Spencer grabbed Nathalia's hand and pulled her close to himself. Nathalia glared at him and pushed him away. Then she said to her bodyguards, "Don't worry about the death of them. I'm responsible."

On hearing so, aunt Emma's bodyguards grew worried.

A few minutes later, Nathalia's bodyguards had cornered Emma's and were beating them up mercilessly.

Spencer watched Nathalia, and his heart ached for her. She's the one that's hurting the most. The tougher she appears to be, it means the more it's hurting her. He thought remorsefully.

Aunt Emma was completely shocked. "Are you insane?!" She yelled while pointing her finger at Nathalia. "Spencer, stop her!"

She still thought that Spencer was her loving nephew as if nothing had happened.

Spencer glared at aunt Emma and in a freezing icy voice, he said, "You've crossed the line. You should have known better not to cross me, not to mess with Nathalia."

"Spencer..." aunt Emma heard the coldness and hated in his words. Does he hate me? He can't hate me.

Meanwhile, Anna had been dragged into the room by the two doctors, and soon, her screaming died down. When the doctors came out of the room, everyone went quiet, waiting.

Dr. Jones looked around the room and said clearly, "Miss Anna Jones is a virgin. It's impossible that she's had sex."

"Hahaha. She's a virgin!" Someone laughed.

"A horny virgin wanting to sleep with other person's husband!" another voice mocked.

"What a disgusting woman! Shameless!" The journalists commented angrily.

"And it's Mrs. Nathalia Davidson's husband, Spencer Davidson that she fancies! She has no idea what she's getting herself into!"

When Anna came out of the room, she was wearing a bathrobe, her eyes red and still in tears, she said pleadingly, "Please don't believe her. She arranged all this. She set me up. She..." The more she talked, the less sense she was making. She couldn't understand how things had turned out this way. She thought she had everything planned. She thought she was in control.

Nathalia paid her no attention but turned to the doctors and said, "Thank you, Dr. Cooper and Dr. Jones. Can I ask you to do me a favor, please? It will be very helpful if you two can come to court as witnesses and prove my husband innocent."

As two of the best-known doctors in town, they had done medical examinations for many cases. It was the main reason that Nathalia had hired them today.

The doctors had a lot of respect for Nathalia for her courage, and they nodded, "No problem."

Anna was shocked, "To court?!" This is not the end yet?! So was aunt Emma. She grew more and more worried.

One of the journalists asked, "Mrs. Nathalia Davidson, would you kindly explain?"

Nathalia glared at Anna and Emma, and icily, she said, "I'm suing these two women for drugging my husband, humiliating him and damaging his reputation." Then she said to her lawyer politely, "Sean, can I trust you on this, please?"

Though Sean had partly guessed Nathalia's plan, he was still rather shocked by her determination. He thought about what kind of impact it would bring to Anna and Emma when it went public, and they were sentenced guilty.

"Sure. I will get on it first thing in the morning." Sean replied.

It was only till then when Nathalia started to feel a bit relieved. "Thank you very much." She said gratefully.

Now Emma was more worried than ever. "Aren't you ashamed? Are you going to take it to court? The whole world will know about Spencer."

Nathalia looked at Emma steadily and said icily, "Are YOU ashamed? I will meet you in court."

"You are going to embarrass your husband too! Don't you care about that?" Emma said anxiously. Seeing that Nathalia wasn't paying her attention, she turned to Spencer, "Spencer, please, say something. You can't let her take it to court!"

Emma never worried about people setting her up, playing tricks on her, but she was helpless when someone played the game openly. She had finally realized how smart and frightening Nathalia could be. She was fearless. She followed her heart, and when one followed their heart, they became the most powerful.

A sneer appeared on Spencer's face as he questioned coldly, "Aunt Emma, you drugged me. Why?" His words were filled with anger and hate. Noticing his change, aunt Emma was desperate. She shook her head frantically and denied, "No. No. I didn't. She lied to you..."

Spencer closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and when he opened his eyes again, there was no more pain in his look, but determination. "Aunt Emma, this is the last time I will ever call you my aunt. From now on, you and I are strangers."

He had learned how stupid he had acted, thinking that Emma was still his aunt, one who loved him. She had set him up. She had betrayed him. And he had hurt his love, his wife, because of it, which he could not forgive himself for.
